I do not find my BluShark Alpha Shark straps to be supple at all. They are far from it, in fact. Have you tried other premium Nato straps since this? I recommend Phenomenato and ToxicNato Shiznit. I'm going to try Cincy Strap Works SB next.

I got distracted by Mont Blanc and R&K ink. 😂 Great review as always

Great review, I am a huge nato fan, and I must say these are some of the best I have ever seen, the only other in their league is the ToxicNato line (other then Omega) Thanks for the intro to this company, I am ordering soon:)

NATO strap with a springbar in the buckle? That completely undermines the entire purpose for using a NATO strap, does it not? If that bar breaks or pops out then your watch falls off. The reason that we use this type of nylon strap that passes through the lugs and under the watch, whether NATO or Zulu, is so that in the case one of your springbars fails, the watch will not fall off since it's held onto the strap by the other bar. That buckle now represents a weak link and a single point of failure that would result in the loss of your watch should it fail.

      Valid point.

You could get an elasticated NATO strap. Very comfortable. Georges straps.

I recently purchased a Blushark premium in Seafoam Green and for the price I paid $22 I can honestly say I am not impressed. I purchased a Tactical Frog NATO in Cream that feels the same and has the same premium buckles for $7. Personally I find the stitching and weaving of the $7 NATO much more comfortable and they even included a spring bar tool and 4 spring bars in addition to the strap. Blushark included the strap and shark sticker 🤦🏻‍♂️😂.

I find it a bit difficult to find a Nato strap in the right length, so that the buckle is on the middle of my wrist. The normal 27 cm straps are too short and 29 cm are rarer to find.

    Nice review.
Just got mine and they are great compared to others I've tried. My only issue is the stitching under the keepers on the Alpha scratched my wrist as well. I just cut of the sharp parts with a razor and used a lighter to reseal it.

+jkata1: Thank you for the kind comment, in the end, that was exactly how I solved the sharp stitching too.

Blushark straps have ruined me for anything else. The only NATO straps I will use are by Blushark; in fact, I've thrown away almost all my other NATO straps not made by Blushark.

BluShark Nato (regular) is a decent strap, but it's very stiff and feels like a seatbelt on my wrist. Is the AlphaShark softer?

I have one of their NATOs. I like them more than wristcandy's. I wish they had more colors and designs though.

I too have both BluShark and wristcandy. I tired on the wristcandy once, looked really really cheap, the keepers look like paper clips, never wore it again. The BluShark is in a league of their own, best I have ever seen, and worth the $ IMHO. By the way, Joe from BluShark said he is expanding the line shortly :)

Thank you for another great video even though it's just an advertisement for yet another company selling Nato watch straps. I am actually at this time on the lookout for a decent Nato watch strap company and with this in mind I have followed the links you have so kindly provided. The only difficulty being that all their prices appear to be in dollars. From this fact I'm assuming, correct me if I'm wrong, that this watch strap company is operating out of the USA? If true, then I guess one would also have to factor in the not insubstantial cost of postage and packing when purchasing a product from this company.
On a different note. I love the look of the Alpha Daytona Cosmograph watch that I've seen on various RUclips video, your own included. I have heard on some of these that, although the watch is considered by many to be of excellent value with few expressions of buyers remorse, there have been several complaints with regards to the quality of the crown and winding mechanism as a whole? It would be most helpful especially to myself as a potential purchaser of the watch if you could relay your personal experience with the Alpha Daytona Cosmographs when hand winding the piece? Towit, is it as bad as some of people have said or are they over egging ( so to speak) what is, in fact, little more than a minor issue.
Thank you again for the excellent video and also, in hopeful anticipation, your reply to my query about the Daytona homage.
    Take care bye for now.

+Peter Lorimer: Thank you very much for your kind words, however, despite the advertisement nature of this video, I really would recommend this brand to a prospective Nato strap buyer. One should bear in mind that I only feature products which I really do believe in on the channel as I review products free of charge.
With regards to the Alpha Daytona, I have mixed feelings about this watch. On the one hand, this watch looks truly gorgeous and is a good alternative to dishing out thousands for an original. On the other hand, the build quality is definitely lacking as the crown on my example no longer screws down. Also, the winding mechanism does leave a bit to be desired in terms of its feeling and slips while winding. Therefore, This watch is nice as a novelty but not as a timepiece to wear for the rest of one's life.
      Best wishes,
      Armand.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply to my questions. The advice contained therein is invaluable, it really is, thanks. Needless to say I will not be wasting my money on what is, in essence, tantamount to a fashion accessory.
My humble apologies if my previous description of your video denigrated it in any way to little more than yet another advert. I don't doubt your honesty and integrity in any way shape or form and perhaps I did appear a tad dismissive of the video in general. I can only reiterate my apology and assure that this was not my intention. In the fact, as I've alluded to, the opposite is the case and I'm actually interested in buying from the company featured in your video. I guess my previous comment therefore was a reflection of the frustration I felt having visited their website and seeing their prices being in dollars. All of this aside, once again many thanks for your videos most all of which I find interesting, enjoy and hope to continue to see yet more.
Enjoy the rest of the day and bye for now Armand.
