    In my opinion at this point the track world needs to do a special event where they place the fastest highschoolers/college athletes against the ranked fastest once a year just to mix it up a little bit. I feel like it would draw a lot of attention for the track world.

    Usain Bolt ran a 19.93 200 when he was 17. I think that's equivalent to a 9.93 100. This kid probably won't be on Usain's level but cool comparison.

    • @TitusWells-jf7bo

      Ok where was the comparison in this video?

    • @TitusWells-jf7bo

      The only one who compared him is you

    • @TitusWells-jf7bo
      @TitusWells-jf7bo 5 месяцев назад +4

      And bolts 19.19 split ran 9.92 in the first 100m a day or 2 days after he ran 9.58 so no 9.93 isn’t equivalent too 19.93 that is inaccurate you going on a straight line faster than when your on the curve in the 200 look up his splits please

    • @biggalaxy9102
      @biggalaxy9102 5 месяцев назад +1

      It blows me away that people really don't think that there will never be someone faster than Usain. People said the same about so many of the past world record holders. Of course someone will come along and break every single record ever recorded, Usains included. This kid may be that one. And height has zero to do with speed.

  • @justtestingonce

      Talented athletes! I will say that not everyone in the heat is a high schooler. I recognized at least one pro, Filippo Tortu, who ran for Italy at the last Olympics. Was the anchor leg of their gold medal 4x100 team.

      not really. These meets have bad track length, poor starting equipment and no drug testing quite often. Even NCAA times that don't meet World Athletics parameters don't have the times ratified.
