A 4 hour build video gives me a hint that this MIGHT be a difficult build. I sometimes use your unbox and build videos to fall asleep, that is NOT an insult!
Brian and camera crew - greetings. You know that this Arrows 182 is the old FMS model. Its probably sold by FMS and marketed at Arrows. None of this is new and this model has been around forever. I have one for the past 12 years and she works fine even with the wing struts broken. It does not seems to be a structural need for the wings, although always better to have a nice connection. Thanks for the review but many of the issues seem to be the same as the old ones we used to build. Todays models are so much better - as reflected by the new FMS Cessna 182.

I have heard a few similar "rhymes" to help people remember, but for whatever reason (dyslexic as a kid) I will have to draw on memory for this, and it will be difficult for me, given my brain's wiring. I had, and still have a hard time with left and right - I know, it's hard to believe you can fly RC with this difficulty, but I do. You'd think just almost, through osmosis, one would eventually "get it", but at least for me, I have to think about it for a second. This was VERY hard for me when I was learning to launch and "kite" for PPG - where you pull up your "parachute" - actually a "wing" and then walk around with it. The instructor would say pull left, step left, and my brain would freeze. I know it'll take me longer to pick up on it, but I will just have to fight, and resign myself to getting it. I'm still working on the Phonetic Alphabet call outs, which is also something that has always been difficult for me.
Looks like it might be a fun plane to have around after dealing with assembly.🤷🏼♂️. Note to self. Cut tail light plug and solder wires together. But I think overall the fms one is what I would go with.
Question. What is the little t-tail glider on top of the cabinet in the back room when you grabbed the receiver?

Next time you try to route and connect one time hard to reach connectors; tie them with some dental floss string; thrust me; they're never going to come off; you can pull n tug all you want; they still going to stay connected no matter what'

It's a good size class, but 1.5m from FMS is better my almost every measure, and NOT hard to build.
Great video of a horrible building/assembly experience.
I have a Bigfoot and a Huskey Ult., both are great planes with no assembly issues.
IMO Arrows needs to dump this thing before their credibility as a good brand goes down the toilet.
Thanks to you and Megan for suffering through this exercise of absurdity, to better our hobby and to educate the newbies veterans alike.

ian - you're missing our point. We specifically DON'T edit...that's our shtick. Don't mean to insult your intelligence, but most get that. Everyone else is giving you the "clifts notes" - we try to show the whole thing. Most will not watch, and I wouldn't - but some will just use the fact that the video is LONG, possibly looking at the total time, and NOT watching to help make a decision. I assume you gleened what you needed to gleen from NOT watching - RIGHT???
I finally made it through the video. Man, what an absolute piece of crap this plane is.. Well, it's not the plane's fault, more the people who designed it. Had I bought this plane without watching the review and build first I would be PISSED, thank you for the detailed build. Must have been hard on your wife too, hehe. Like you said, the 1,5 meter 182 is not much more expensive, flies better, looks better (IMO) and goes together soo much better, AND comes in a much smaller box, what a joke honestly. Have a good one!
