X-men 97 episode 9 was amazing.
Marvel fans, we recently got another trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine and this trailer focused on Logan! However, we've come to realize this Wolverine is NOT WHO YOU THINK!
There are some new rumors about the X-Men movie Marvel Studios is currently developing! I think these rumors are AMAZING and could set up Avengers vs X-Men between Avengers 5 and Avengers 6!

Charles is someone that is drunk on idealism, Magneto may be Bad but he has a point and as long as People Mutant or otherwise prove him right, no one can judge his actions as truly evil bar exceptions.
Most of mankind's fear/hatred of mutants stems directly from Magneto's crimes.

Yeah this series made me more of a Magneto fan. He’s the only good guy in this series, in my opinion.

I see also the story of x happening also. Not just onslaught. Where both dreams have to be combine.
I haven’t seen this show, but this touches on what’s been happening in the comics with Krakoa. The whole “Magneto was right” thing. Mark my words, in the future they’re going to show that Krakoa failed because it was Xavier embarrassing Magneto’s ideology. Xavier ended up the villain in the end, and Magneto is now going to take up Xavier’s dream. People will eventually realize that Xavier was right all along. That’s what’s going to be happening with the X-Men in the future.
I don't like how they made Magneto in this show for one simple reason. You can't have the villain be 100% right about his actions. In most continuities, Magneto is afraid of what might happen to mutants and becomes the oppressor he sees humanity as. In this, humans are all evil and wrong, so theres no reason to not genocide all of them.
Magneto is meant to be a hypocrite, and if he isn't, you shouldn't make him a villain

We need children to learn so they can become adults. I made my kid watch threads whenever he was in grades school. He asked me about condoms and I showed him Gambit and rogue.
This is giving me memories of Magneto facing down Apocalypse (Beyond Good and Evil) he said he wouldn't punish the innocent, just the guilty.

Magneto blames all humanity for the actions of a few and people say he's a hero. But when humanity fears all mutants for the actions of a few, we're the bad guys?
when humanity found out about the existence of mutants and immediately tried to kill or incarcerate them all?? yeah, yeah humans are the villains here, especially when magneto lived through the holocaust and sees the prejudice humans have against mutants is the exact same as the germans had towards the jews, and unless youre actively trying to help the oppressed youre only assisting the oppressor. just like the era of the nazis, the world of xmen isnt oblivious to what governments and human authorities are trying to pull against the mutants.

Its a vicious circle
Magneto doesn’t blame all of humanity. He blames human supremacy. Be blames the opressive majority. Also humanity commited the holocaust and oppressed mutants through similar means, unlike Magneto who only ever killed in his own defense or the defense of mutants. Your logic is under the assumption that humans and mutants had the same level of systemic power. Humans have giant robots and killer machies that track and hunt mutants. Mutants only use their powers in self defense
He decided to give humanity a chance and then he watched another genocide i think his anger is justified
The UN backed Bastion. Who else is there more fit to represent humanity?

As much as I love this and this moment this it's also one of the few problems I had with 97.
It felt like the show was going way too far out of it's way to make Magneto right and to make Xavier look like a naive fool with the mind of a child. I'd like season 2 to give some defense for Xavier's side and show proof that Xaviers dream is more than just a childish fantasy.
Just as season 1 showed Magneto to be more than just a traumatized victim Xavier should have validation all his own. The philosophical struggle doesn't work when one is obviously right and the other is obviously wrong, if this were done the other way around, Xavier seeming to be totally right and Magneto totally wrong no one would like that and it shouldn't be done this way either.
The first two of the Fox reboot films handled this perfectly, First Class showed why Magneto believes humans will never accept mutants and Days of Future Past showed why Xavier continues to believe his dream can one day be a reality.
Both sides need to have a point and seem believable, not just Magneto.

Totally the humans on that world are terrible in general everyone go to the maximum on anything they choose good and evil hell sometimes the shit they do make it where it's both and ultimately evil

Honestly, I felt like there was a a third option.
Round up all of our mutant cousins, take one of the Xavier’s Shie’arr spaceships and find a new planet for Homo Sapiens Superior to live on. A solution to save mutantkind without committing the same mass genocide as the corrupt baseline humans.
Maybe, some of the humans could coexist with Mutants, but the majority that want to destroy them out of hatred make earth a far too dangerous place to live on!!!

@@RealComfyNerdprobably the part that tees up the Wolverine part - Charles has Eric subdued and assuming the rest of Blue Team can defend him from Rogue and Sunspot (who isn’t nearly as committed as Rogue), Xavier has plenty of time before needing to exploit Magneto’s powers to fix the earth’s magnet field… TIME Gold Team needs, which Scott forfeits by blasting Charly 🤷♂️
