For me this was not awkward. The reporter/lady was being very sincere, honest and expressed from the heart. Unlike many interviews where it is usually a lot of promo mumbo jumbo. I admire her for this
Oh, Bradley should have won this Oscar. My respect to Malek, he was good. But Bradley was really breathing in the skin of his character. No bs in his performance...even for a second. It was so true and so natural! I loved it how he never pushed it too hard in his acting. It almost felt like I am watching somebody I know...just living his life. Doesn't matter, awards are awards...but Bradley really touched us deeply. Thank you, Bradley Cooper ! And thank you Lady Gaga for your crazy talent!
The competition was actually between Rami Malek and Christian Bale.Even William DaFoe had more chance of winning than Bradley. Though his performance was good. He carried A Star Is Born.
Wasn’t her best. I’m sure she’d admit that too. We all have moments like this in life, but most aren’t televised live for millions to see. Luv ya G! *Peace To All*
He was gracious enough. His words and expression were sincere. He thanked her three times. It's called acting. How can he explain HER reaction to his acting? It wasn't the time or place to be discussing deep questions. Besides, she answered her own question: "It's the power of love."
I personally feel that there was something about him at that moment of the interview that made him seem unapproachable and she couldn’t handle it very well. I don’t blame her.
I am not a fan of hers- or his really for that matter, I didn’t see the movie but the reason why I think he seemed unapproachable at that moment is because that movie had the opposite effect on him, or at least it seemed to- he split from his partner shortly after
That wasn’t cringey.... it was a woman trying to find the words about a movie that impacted her (and her love life) personally, a detail she thought Bradley would be touched by because it’s his movie. Why’s everyone overrracting
Was this really that awkward? It was different where she was coming from such a personal place in her question, too bad she was long-winded, but Bradley could have embraced her vulnerability more than shrugged it off.. :/
She didn't pick up on his 'let's keep this light' cues. He kind of laughed off her first question as being too deep, then she went on to ask a very similar question only a few minutes later. Plus, he probably didn't completely hear the question since it went on for so long and there were people screaming in the background. Not super awkward but she's not really a great interviewer, he wasn't up to giving deeply insightful answers, and the environment was challenging.
Myself, as one of the last normal humans out there, who isn't a social media simp/lemming, can say it was pretty straightforward and Cooper was simply trying to respect her question with as much engagement as he could in that context.
People think THIS is awkward? I cringe while imagining how awkward I would be interviewing Bradley Cooper while people are screaming in the background.
I believe Lady Gaga and Bradley belong together** The Star is Born is and always will the best love story! There is a true message. In this movie. The struggle of alcohol and drugs but having a true love for each other and standing by that person! In the sound of music and listening to that every musical note can make all the difference*** many blessings to you both.
I just wanna give him a hug. He’s gotten so screwed. Eta: i met sam Elliott last Friday at a taping of ‘the ranch’ and I sobbed while I told him how ‘a star is born’ affected me as a person with a disability suffering depression. He was very kind and said thank you and said he would pass on the message to ‘Bradley and stefanie’ but really he didn’t say much. It’s an awkward situation when someone has a reaction to something you don’t expect. What i got from Meeting Sam, and seeing this interview, is they had no idea how deep this movie actually was and how it would affect people. Bradley just wanted to tell a love story but it is SO much more.
Are ppl serious? It was such a inappropriate question for all the background noise that was happening. And he had a very good response. It was hard to even focus on the question with the background noise, yelling and cheering.
This lady who is interviewing needs to go home and think about what she wants to be in life! Because this is NOT it! You can see how uncomfortable Bradley was.......awkward!
Guilanna is just off her game. She's not doing this everyday like she did. She's not as practiced. Not as bad as I heard, but before she did the best Red Carpet interviews.
To be fair he already said he could barely hear her ... the crowd was so loud ahha But I agree with all the other comments that said peoples reactions to this was over dramatic. It seemed fine to me.
bless her heart.... he's soo weird... like channeling phil wenneck all of a sudden lol.... i know he couldnt really hear her though too and was getting ready to sing on stage live with so much resting on it .
Julia appears nervous grappling for words and it makes Bradley uncomfortable. He looks puzzled when she tells him about her and her husband falling more in love. She appears to be standing in his personal space a bit too much too. But other than that . . . :-)
She was long winded and scatterbrained but Bradley has always had a bit of an awkward personality so his reaction to her wasn't personal. I always thought he seemed kind of aspergish.
YES it's taken me soo long to find anyone else who thought that!! he is 100% up there, from the obsessive way he does things, to like, the weird unpredictable social persona he has. both charming and majorly rude and awkward and then, at other times, smooth .... like this interview and reaction to her emotion feels aspergers as you said, the way he is looking at her face too, like taking her in impersonally. i love him & have watched so many interviews, and most of the time he's 5 seconds behind, thinking about what he or they just last said. i love figuring these things out from afar.
Akward question from Rancic he has not clue what she was talking about lol I feel for his uncorfortable moment on this very akward interview time for new reporter s faces!!!
Painful interview.....Goodness I hope they literally stop these red carpet bullshit interviews. Now those are Shallow.....seriously enough of the circus show
For someone who is from my beloved Bethesda, Maryland, I am truly disgusted and ashamed. This interview asking deep questions to someone that you really don't know that well is not only awkward, but you can also see the distain in Bradley Cooper's face that he had for her. I tried to forgive her for the "Patchouli and weed" comment about Zendaya a few years back, but now this.....it made that dark cloud above her come back. It's time to pack it up and say goodbye. Give the slot to Jeannie Mai.
Seriously?? Get a life, there was nothing that off about Her interview,She was probably starstruck, would you not be! Just because She smells weed and patchouli you're mad? I mean to bad!! You weren't there.
This isn't THAT awkward. Just seems that Giuliana was a little starstruck and was touched by the film and started rambling. That's all.
For me this was not awkward. The reporter/lady was being very sincere, honest and expressed from the heart. Unlike many interviews where it is usually a lot of promo mumbo jumbo. I admire her for this

How many videos am I gonna see this exact same comment on? Lmao this is the 3rd one so far
I'm so so agree with you.
Priya Sharma yes
Doesn't matter he didnt win,for true A star is born fans bradley and gaga collected all awards.
Wow... awkward. Cooper was like wtf?!
Wasn’t her best. I’m sure she’d admit that too. We all have moments like this in life, but most aren’t televised live for millions to see. Luv ya G! *Peace To All*

God what a cutie he is❤😊❤

I agree👏💖
Congratulations Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga on winning an Oscar.
She did all the talking.
Terry Darden it’s annoying
Started out well and then gets awkward, and more awkward, cringe
Yessssssss. Cringe. Yikes.
Yup 🤦🏻♀️
Hahaha
Bradley’s like wow this chick is out there. Exit stage right!!
Was this really that awkward? It was different where she was coming from such a personal place in her question, too bad she was long-winded, but Bradley could have embraced her vulnerability more than shrugged it off.. :/
Exactly. I could not agree more
He could BARELY hear her!!! He wasn’t cold or short. He just didn’t feel her words bc it was sooo loud!
Hes so humble
Yikes...terrible interview
HAPPY 45TH BIRTHDAY BRADLEY CHARLES COOPER !!!!
She didn't pick up on his 'let's keep this light' cues. He kind of laughed off her first question as being too deep, then she went on to ask a very similar question only a few minutes later. Said the exact same thing. Wasn't a great interview, but definitely not awkward. I think he ws just trying to make sure he was hearing her completely.
That was quite the deep question for the red carpet when most are asking who you're wearing and congratulating you!!
That man is a god! Look at him!
Bradly deserves Oscar🙏

Awkward! I think it’s time for her to retire.
Omg..definitely awkward!!! I was thinking the same....cringe
She's probably delerious from lack of food......
Jackie Kimberlin who or why was this awkward? 😯
Guilana was touched by Bradley movie. 🎥 Sweet story for her to tell Brad about. Brad looks amazed.👏💖
It's like tripping over a few rugs. So awkward........ His micro-expressions though.
Micro expressions??? That's new! Lol
Lisa Salisbury lol
Lady Gaga is after this man, and he might take her up on the offer.
Are ppl serious? It was such a inappropriate question for all the background noise that was happening. And he had a very good response. It was hard to even focus on the question with the background noise, yelling and cheering.
Very humble
From the very beginning, you can tell he does not want to talk to her. He looks tense from jump.
These comments are so brutal that I'm afraid to watch the interview 😬

He was just being humble and she used the interview as an excuse to talk about herself really.
“That’s brilliant”. The go to phrase all interviewers say when they are drowning. Lol.
Lucky❤ i wish that i ❤was there
I mean... it's uncomfortable to hear that rambling, but B-Coop handled it just fine.
He could care less
* couldn't
I don’t get all the bad buzz about this interview. Though it was raw and real.
The reporter felt attached to the film
Guilanna is just off her game. She's not doing this everyday like she did. She's not as practiced. Not as bad as I heard, but before she did the best Red Carpet interviews.
Yeah, how was Cooper supposed to react to that question?
To be fair he already said he could barely hear her ... the crowd was so loud ahha But I agree with all the other comments that said peoples reactions to this was over dramatic. It seemed fine to me.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
bless her heart.... he's soo weird... like channeling phil wenneck all of a sudden lol.... i know he couldnt really hear her though too and was getting ready to sing on stage live with so much resting on it .
How did she expect him to answer that question?? She made it awkward.
I think it was a sweet moment. Not sure what people expected Bradley to do.
but tell us how you really feel Giuliana...
Julia appears nervous grappling for words and it makes Bradley uncomfortable. He looks puzzled when she tells him about her and her husband falling more in love. She appears to be standing in his personal space a bit too much too. But other than that . . . :-)
I don't see what the big deal is???
I think he couldn't really hear her that well.
Who ever is his assistant should be fired, for leaving him trapped listening her life story lol.
He was high. Lol
Sometimes being a natural interviewer works better.....don't over think questions is the red carpet enjoy the moment!!!
Quero vê.los,,2021
Maybe he still didn’t hear her lol
She was long winded and scatterbrained but Bradley has always had a bit of an awkward personality so his reaction to her wasn't personal. I always thought he seemed kind of aspergish.

That became bizarre---
Ccccccrrrrrriiinnnggggeeeeeeee.........
It was a horrible question
Whaaat happened there?!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So bad. How is she still on TV?
She talked most of the interview
Maybe she had a piece of kale in her teeth? It seemed like he was having a hard time looking at her
Watching the Oscars now
I am embarrassed for her, and I wasn't even there🤦🏾♀️
Giuliana Rancic: It made me fall in love with my husband even more.
Bradley Cooper: Ohhhh.
Yikes.
Is this how you treat a 'men'
ю
SOOOOOOO Awkward...... she's making it about her, its not
Next. They need to replace her

Poor Bradley, she was so cringey
