Asami before she joined the band wasn't a metal singer. She was a backup singer for other bands in Japan and sang mostly gospel and r&b/soul. Shes far more comfortable singing Aretha Franklin and Alicia Keys. She was inspired by Lizzy Hale of Halestorm to sing rock music. She auditioned for the band with the Halestorm song "Lovebites and So Do I" and that's where the band gets its name from. Asami also writes most of the of the lyrics to their songs The guitarist who also plays piano Miyako composed the piece as her love letter to Chopin and Devorak because she was a classically trained pianist before she picked up the guitar.
Thank you so much Beth! I've been waiting so long for this reaction and analysis! I'm so glad you liked this fantastic band Lovebites! Greetings from Japan!
Finally Beth Roars i have followed your channel for some time now and always liked your reactions/analyzes. And with a warm heart i welcome you to the world of LOVEBITES. You have a treasure chest of fantastic music/performances to look forward to. Love from Sweden.
The Golden Touch - Miyako The Little Big Engine - Haruna The Natural Born Headbanger - Miho The Crazy Shredder - Midori The One & Only Voice - Asami This five ladies are remarkable....
Thank you so much for this reaction video and your analysis. Lovebites is one of the best metal bands today. An incredible band. I believe that their other amazing songs will hit your heart as well. It's a pity you didn't start this song with a magic piano intro from Miyako. Great tribute to Chopin. Miyako (dark hair guitarist and pianist) is one of the best musical artists of our time. She is my the most favorite musician. I love this band.
WOW, was so great, so emotional . These women are really heavy, they really know how ROCK! Loved it,sincerely. Thanks for bring her, beauty Beth. Kisses and a big hug from Spain 😺
Glad you finally checked out LoveBites. It took me few months to break down and watch a reaction. Since then, I have bought most of their albums. Every time I get a new album, I cry tears of joy because it hits me in the feels. Now I'm waiting for the best of set, In The Beginning. They are amazing.

Lovebites makes it look so easy belting out song after song with no sweat. Happiness is what I feel every time I hear them. LOVEBITES! LOVEBITES! LOVEBITES! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 MIHO! MIHO! MIHO! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for reacting to Lovebites, i have been listing for a year now, and i believe they are the best metal band to come out in the last 20 years, I am very happy you loved them...and thank you.
Love these lady's, their talent is immense!! The truth is, the all female rock / metal scene in Japan is ridiculous as in ridiculously good! Most of my favorite music over the last 4 yrs is all female bands from Japan....their musicianship and musicality are just Awesome ❤🎸🥁🎹🎙😎👌
Just LOVEBITES doing what they do...blowing our minds on first contact. Love first-time reactions the most, yours was awesome. Welcome to the Wolfpack 🤘🐺🤘
It's good to see you finally get to Lovebites! I consider you to be among the best of RUclips's vocal analysts and reactors, so I had been hoping you would eventually discover Lovebites! Welcome to the Wolfpack!
Finally, Beth reacts to Lovebites... Best metal band right now. Such talent, diversity, shredding, unique sound and stage presence that no other metal band has. Fact that they are cute girls is just a nice little bonus to the Wolfpack story (fans call the band The Wolfpack). These girls are pure gold. I hope for more reactions to Lovebtes from always amazing Beth Roars. ROCK ON!
Now falling down the Lovebites rabbit hole requires reactions to many of their other great songs. Such as, Empty Daydream (for the backing vocals from band members) plus Holy War, Edge of the World, Don't Bite the Dust, Break the Wall, Raise Some Hell, The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath, Scream For Me, Set the World on Fire and Epilogue. That's a start. After that you can add some of my other favourite Japanese all-female bands - Nemophila, Band-Maid, Mary's Blood and Hanabie. Cheers from Canada.
Songs to show Asami’s sides: “Edge of the World” for intimate vocals and steady build. or ballad Epilogue… or soft beginning to Empty Daydream… In “Dancin with the Devil” she gets some R&B vamping going and has a great line as the Devil herself, “did you think you’re free?, running round with your collar on?!” Any vid live Five Tokyo 2020 is stellar.
I told you... I tell everyone... "It's not enough to listen, you have to see the ladies in action playing their amazing music!" And almost everyone is blown away! And since they have much more power metal and classical influences than most of their peers, (no disrespect to other JP bands) the melodies and harmonies with LoveBites will make your heart swell with emotion! No matter what gender you are, you feel empowered!
I really hope I can see them live. Been hoping since 2018. Sad my first time won't be with Miho. But just to experience these excellent musicians power live, I'll glady take.
LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics: If this was the last day you could live on this earth Would you still go on, accusing someone for today It’s better to fail than not do anything at all It is not the length, but depth of life that counts Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life Sometimes the life of one can save so many more Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Love bites are a once in a generation band. All members of Lovebites are sophisticated, well-educated, classically trained and multi-instrumentalists. Miyako (black hair/Dean guitar) has played classical piano for twenty-eight of her thirty years to concert performance level and the piano is probably her first instrument, she also plays a mean bass and some drums.. She taught herself to play the guitar at eighteen. Midori (blond/Esp guitar) studied piano and keyboards from the age to two until around twenty when she attended one of the premier music schools in Japan to learn guitar. Haruna (drums) also studied piano from an early age before switchng to drums. Miho (bass) started out playing piano before she switched to bass. She also plays guitar and drums, Asami the singer has had vocal coaching and regularly belts effortlessly at F5 and her graceful stage presence is thanks to more than a decade studying classical ballet. It is a pity you did not include the introduction to 'Swan Song' in which Miyako plays Chopin's Etude Opus 10 No. 12.
Hi, Thank you for listening to LOVEBITES. First, the origin of their band name. The band name "LOVEBITES" is derived from the song "Love Bites (So Do Eye)" of the American hard rock band "Halestorm". Among their fans, it is also known as the "wolfpack". By the way, although they are Japanese, There are no songs that use Japanese. How the band was formed. On July 18, 2015, when DESTROSE went into hiatus, miho (Ba), who was in charge of the bass at DESTROSE, invited haruna (Dr), She left DESTROSE before and she started forming a new band. The two listened to the song of asami (Vo) sung on the demo tape of a professional composer, contacted them, and asami joined as the third member. On June 15, 2016, the name of the new band of miho and haruna was announced as "LOVEBITES" and the official website was opened. On June 29th, it was announced that midori (Gt) would join and support guitarist mi-ya (miyako) would join. "Miyako" stands on the right side of the stage. And "midori" stands on the left side. The latest information. Miho, the leader and bassist of this band Announced withdrawal from the band on 08.17.2021. Currently the band is temporarily suspended. Her withdrawal is said to be a fatal injury to the band's dissolution, Most expectation is that if they can welcome a new bassist Their activities are expected to resume. All of their songs are great and they are all sung in English. Please enjoy their performance.
You missed Miyako doing Chopin's piano Etude intro and then jumping onto the guitar for the song. Asami/vocals at 4' 10" thunders out over the layers behind her and despite being a backup RnB/Jazz/Soul vocalist who never sang Metal till she joined this band she has morphed into the perfect front person for this group. She is an ex-ballerina student thus the graceful movements on stage as well. Best LIVE metal band with insane talent today. They are all petite (Haruna/drums is only 4' 9") thus the white dresses and high heels that they perform in to stand out and be seen easier. They mix '80 metal with old world masters and then elevate it to a whole new level. 50+ songs since 2017 and not one of them is a dud. They are relentless in the pursuit of flawless perfection especially LIVE (one note off in a 2 hour concert will drive them nuts), despite their insane talent their insane practice results in these stunning LIVE performances. Their sound engineers are the same ones that handle Nightwish!!! Great reaction and explanation of singing.
Judging by her reaction at the beginning, and then saying, "coming back to this.", I suspect Beth watched it but cut it from the video, since there was no singing.
Hi Beth. Thanks for the LOVEBITES reaction. I love LOVEBITES. Your analysis of the song is very helpful. I'd love to see your LOVEBITES reaction video more. I hope you have a good day.
I believe the same person also recommended Band-Maid to you. I won't even try to spell her name. But I am glad she was able to steer you to my new favorite bands. (Thank you for showing Beth these amazing women) Band-Maid makes me smile, and lets me face the world in a good mood. Lovebites leaves me feeling empowered to face whatever that day brings. Keep them coming, there are other songs that show more vocal versatility, and though we can argue over which is best, there is no bad choice for your next pick.
Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. Re.: Swan Song: Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now one of the best metal guitarists in the world. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). All five members of the band are Jedi-level musicians, but I think Miyako is a once-in-a generation talent, a true savant.
Helloooo, Beth. Maybe you are not a big fan of heavy metal, but you are, before the best band created in the last 20 years of heavy metal, in my opinion. This song is titled "Swan song + intro chopin", if you had played it from the beginning, you would see Miyako, the black haired girl, starting the song with an impressive piano intro. I recommend that you continue to react to them, they all have an impressive talent. To see Asami's voice quality, I suggest the following songs "Epilogue" live 2019, look it up like this. "Edge of the world" "Empty daydream" "Dancing whit the devil" "A frozen serenade". They have other songs more powermetal, but they also show the quality of voice and instruments. A big hug
This is the link for Swan Song with Revolutionary Etude. ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html and this for A Frozen Serenade. ruclips.net/video/v3dRckDw1GM/видео.html It's a beautiful beautiful piece.
I already miss Miho. She's the bassist, recently left the band. ;( Ever since I discovered Lovebites I've though it was a bit unfair that they had to two such great guitarists. I am very happy to see more and more women getting into playing metal and rock here in the west, but it's crazy how Japan has been killing it with rock and metal for a while now, and with quite a few women and all-female bands. BAND-MAID is still top for me, but there are so many other great ones, like Mary's Blood, Unlucky Morpheus, Gacharic Spin, Scandal, Nemophila, Asterism (instrumental 3-piece, so not a fit for this channel, but all of them are excellent, and an incredible young woman on guitar, Hal-ca). I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
@@tobydawes6007 I don't know. I'm not sure they've even said why she left, but apparently the had meetings to try and find a way for her to stay any all that stuff. I think this all happened late August? No replacement yet as far as I'm aware of. ps I can't believe I forgot Aldious and Bridear earlier, but I know there's even more...
Oh crap, and Hanubie (Harubie?), but the only thing I've heard from them is that crazy song about sweets with the harsh vocals. I liked it. I gotta get to looking them up more.
@@tobydawes6007 There hasn't been an announcement as to why she left, but just a couple days before the announcement that she was leaving, Miho tweeted about her battle with depression, how she has been having a very hard time since her father died, and how she has felt that she hasn't done enough to help people directly during the pandemic (her father was a paramedic, and she is inspired by the help he gave to others). I'm not sure if all of that contributed to her decision to leave the band, but she may have simply felt pulled in another direction. She has posted some recent photos with her bass, so that suggests she does plan to return to music.
You’re now being introduced to the “Wolfpack”, named after the Wolf theme the band has adopted on all their artwork. We leap on anyone enjoying Lovebites for the first time because we remember that feeling ourselves, only for us it became a permanent state. They deserve maximum recognition, maximum exposure and maximum respect because they are consummate musicians, playing their own compositions, effortlessly and to this standard over 50 tracks to date with no weak track or album filler. Best band in any genre in a generation… or more. Lovely reaction.
They named their Band from the HALESTORM song Love Bites(So Do I), watch the singer performed with Lzzy Hale, LOVESBITES live 2020 songs Raise Some Hell, Break The Wall, The Hammer Of Wrath, Holy War, Scream For Me, and live 2021 Set The World On Fire, Today Is The Day, Spellbound, Winds Of Transylvania, its time to check another all Japanese females Metal Band NEMOPHILA - latest songs Hypnosis, Revive, Dissension, Raitei HANABIE - song We Love Sweets
She's doing that vocal work for about 2 hours on this concert.. She have a lot of stamina as a metal vocalist.. That's very amazing.. Anyway, thank you for checking this performance, Beth! I hope you have a wonderful day!✌🏻
FUCK YES! Lovebites fucking rule! Awesome pick Beth! Feel free to do more of them. Also please feel free to do Black Sabbath with Ozzy: Snowblind or Symptom of the Universe (from Never Say Die live) Iron Maiden with Paul Di'Anno: Wrathchild, Remember Tommorrow or Phantom of the Opera from Live At The Rainbow
Nice reaction Beth! Yeah, Japan is such a hidden treasure when it comes to music. So many talented bands... Both male and female. Among female it's so easy to find 5 to the top 10 to all-girl-bands all from early 80s with Shonen-knife and Show-ya to more recent ones as Band-maid, Lovebites, Doll$boxx etc... In Japan there is nearly just as much of giving a show, so many bands use costumes to stand out. As you've seen till now. Still you've not seen Gacharic spin with their quite colourful ones, Versailles 18th century french style etc. Kind of sad you didn't pick the one where Miyako is playing Chopins revolutionary etude, since it highly inspired her to make this piece. She is also one of my biggest musical heroes, starting playing piano at 3, and when she started to play the guitar at 18 she had reached concert level. That she is gorgeous and a big Star-Wars fan is also a +!
when people who haven't heard Lovebites ask me what they sound like, if they are familiar I usually say they sound most like Galneryus. You could in a way compare them to Dragonforce I suppose as well. But Galneryus is the most direct comparison. To be clear, Syu has basically no equal when it comes to guitarwork, but these ladies (both of them) come very close.
Your reaction is like many of us first hearing them. Just amazing players period across the board but extra points to Haruna the drummer IMHO. For vocal masterpieces other than this. Edge of the World, Empty Daydream, and Epilogue. For the whole band to smash in your head Holy War, Set The World on Fire are good picks.
@@johnpaul4784 Hello Francis, don't get upset with people comments. We are so lucky we live in a society where we can freely express our selves and write opinions without fear from state oppression. No ones opinion is correct nor is it incorrect, it is an opinion or personal preference. 😀
Thank you for your wonderful reaction. I am also impressed with ASAMI's voice quality and vocal control skills. By the way, the next story has nothing to do with your reaction ... There are some who criticize ASAMI for singing English lyrics. "If you can't sing with beautiful English accents, stop singing in English. Sing in Japanese!" ASAMI said in a NET-TV show: "There is a reason why I write and sing English lyrics. I think vocals are that produce called in the band. Thinking of , I feel that English is a more harmonious tone than Japanese for our Metal music. " I'm not a musician, but I'm convinced by ASAMI's ideas. (Rejecting music with lyrics that you can't hear means rejecting music that is sung in all foreign languages). (from JAPAN)
I corrected one comment but there are many more. You are a vocal coach not a piano teacher. Thank you for you explaining how Asami, sings and achieves her vocal range. You are an inspiration for me and others to learnr improve our singing ability. I know it is extra views but hopefully those obsessed about you missing Miyako playing the piano, will not watch your future reactions to Lovebites or make stupid comments if they do.
Crying with joy is natural when watching them. You're going to be doing a LOT of it as you go through their videos. They should produce a musical box that plays the chorus, with Asami the trained ballerina as the revolving dancer. "Hold me closer, Tiny Dancer..." 🤘💜🐺
It's about time you discover LOVEBITES! Took you long enough! And now you finally know who is the BEST metal band on the planet! Wolfpack is here for LOVEBITES! You should just make your channel "The Lovebites Reaction Channel" for the next month! Wait until you see what else they can do! You have barely scratched the surface. We expect to see more LOVEBITES on your channel very soon!
Asami (the singer) has a speaking voice a lot lower than what you would expect for such a princessy asian lady. And a more bossy character than you would expect too. This band started operating in 2017 when the bassist (Miho, big Iron Maiden fan) reunited some of the best performers in the female japanese metal scene she knew. But they lacked a singer that could do honor to Bruce. At the same time, Asami, that had trained ballet and piano since child and had spent some years singing R&B in the underground scene, had decided to try luck with rock after doing a couple of background vocals for two japanese bands (vamps, uverworld). She sent a demo tape to the company and the girls crossed with it. They mentioned it was like: "We do Heavy Metal." "What's this?" "That music like Metallica." "Who's that?" xD Now she is an incredible Heavy Metal frontwoman, very brucy.
this is said to be the largest female band it is said to be the greatest metal band perhaps (to me) it is simply the greatest band in the world right now Mihooooo 😭😭😭😭
@@nicoLovebites666 I would hope The Charismatic checks them out too. I've been trying to get her to check LoveBites out without being too annoying. Of course like many she has a Patreon, but it's more like a voting system. Hopefully her fans will help out!
That's a very big voice to come out of such a tiny lady. Singer Asami barely scrapes 4' 10" without her heels on but she commands that stage like a fairy Goddess.
I'm not sure virtuoso can even describe Miyako. Right prior to this she played a piece by Chopin that led into it. She's a professional-level classical pianist that shreds on guitar and can play it as well as anyone, after having picked up a few books on how to play (and years and hours of practice and work). And she writes a great deal of their music, too. And sings backup on occasion, and knows her way around a drum kit. This song is a masterpiece. They're all so talented!
Lovebites is the best metal band to come out in 30 years. IMO they are currently at the top of the pyramid above everyone when it comes to musicianship and song compositions. The lead singer, Asami has a background in R&B and Soul. There is a youtube video from 7 years ago of her covering Alicia Key's "If I Ain't Got You" when she was a lounge singer before joining Lovebites. Check it out. And the way she moves on stage is because she was a trained ballerina. She also moved to LA for a time to learn hip-hop dance too. More reactions of Asami & Lovebites please!
great review and content, Thanks for the video. Another Lovebites song for vocal showcase: Holy War, Epilogue, Edge Of The World Enjoy your journey with Lovebites :)
So many songs to choose from Beth. Here's a link to 'Edge Of The World' & 'We The United'. As a voice coach, you will love the start and how Asami sings. It always brings a tear to my eye. These songs really show the brilliance of all these women. ruclips.net/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/видео.html
Great to see this review. They are great, as is Mary's Blood. Could you review Judas Priest Beyond the Realms of Death, live in Miami 1988? I think this could be Rob Halfold best performance. Definitely in his prime.
You should see more lovebites, they never disappoint, better live, 2020, 2021 and 2023. The best metal band today and new bassits in 2023 in live much better. Ty
Thank you Beth ! Great reaction ; I hate to tell BTS fans but in Asia women rule music lol 😂 I hope this gets them lots of followers need them to come to America
OK BETH ! NOW THAT WE HAVE YOU STARTED ON LOVEBITES , YOU NEED TO REACT TO EMPTY DAYDREAMS LIVE . IT'S MY FAVORITE ! I THINK YOU'LL LOVE IT . THE SINGER'S NAME IS ASAMI , I CALL HER QUEEN OF THE HIGH NOTE . ASAMI AND MIHO WROTE THE LYRICS (SADLY NO MIHO ANYMORE) . MOST OF THE MUSIC WAS WRITTEN BY MIYAKO ! THAT'S THE ONE WHO PLAYS PIANO AS WELL AS GUITAR ! MIDORI IS THE OTHER GUITARIST ! AND LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST IS , HARUNA ON DRUMS . AND I THINK SHE'S A LITTLE CUTIE PIE !
Welcome to the world of wolfpack. Lovebites is the best one metal band right now on the earth. All the musicians on this band is insane and world class talent. Not a gimmick or fake. They effortless. Like the Goddesses. That's a great reaction and great analysis by the way. Especially when you explain about Asami the singer voice. Asami have a lot power and high voice. And for me her voice is unique too. Next try they song from live concert again. I'm suggestions the song "Set the world on fire" or "Edge of the world" Thank you for great reaction to Lovebites.
Asami also writes most of the of the lyrics to their songs
The guitarist who also plays piano Miyako composed the piece as her love letter to Chopin and Devorak because she was a classically trained pianist before she picked up the guitar.
Thank you so much Beth! I've been waiting so long for this reaction and analysis! I'm so glad you liked this fantastic band Lovebites!

ROCK ON!

Thank you for doing Lovebites. The best female metal band IMO. Liked and subscribed. Welcome to the wolfpac
Songs to show Asami’s sides: “Edge of the World” for intimate vocals and steady build. or ballad Epilogue… or soft beginning to Empty Daydream…
In “Dancin with the Devil” she gets some R&B vamping going and has a great line as the Devil herself, “did you think you’re free?, running round with your collar on?!”
Any vid live Five Tokyo 2020 is stellar.
tim - in the house !
LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics:
If this was the last day you could live on this earth
Would you still go on, accusing someone for today
It’s better to fail than not do anything at all
It is not the length, but depth of life that counts
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair
Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care
You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life
Sometimes the life of one can save so many more
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan

lyrics: asami
music: miyako
arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Next mission: Lovebites-Holy War!
Edge of the World or epilogue
Shadowmaker or Endless Daydream Live in Tokyo.
I agree that missing the Chopin part is a big miss... so much is based from that etude
@@stevestarr3160 she didn't miss it she had to cut it for copyright reasons
@@Lemon_Force Yeah! The important part is that Beth saw it. We have already seen it :)
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
Re.: Swan Song:
Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career.
A big hug

I'm so happy, I have waited for this reaction for ages. Guys, please convince Beth to react to Unlucky Morpheus - Dignity of Spirit.
Great reaction! Thank you for picking up Lovebites .They are one of the best metal bands in the world!
Uuuunbeeeeliiiieeeevaaaableeee!! 😍🤘
I already miss Miho. She's the bassist, recently left the band. ;(
Ever since I discovered Lovebites I've though it was a bit unfair that they had to two such great guitarists.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
why did she leave? Who's her replacement?
@@tobydawes6007 I don't know. I'm not sure they've even said why she left, but apparently the had meetings to try and find a way for her to stay any all that stuff. I think this all happened late August? No replacement yet as far as I'm aware of.
ps I can't believe I forgot Aldious and Bridear earlier, but I know there's even more...
Oh crap, and Hanubie (Harubie?), but the only thing I've heard from them is that crazy song about sweets with the harsh vocals. I liked it. I gotta get to looking them up more.
@@iDEATH was it infighting? Is this the first turnover or have they lost members before?
They named their Band from the HALESTORM song Love Bites(So Do I), watch the singer performed with Lzzy Hale,
LOVESBITES live 2020 songs Raise Some Hell, Break The Wall, The Hammer Of Wrath, Holy War, Scream For Me, and live 2021 Set The World On Fire, Today Is The Day, Spellbound, Winds Of Transylvania, its time to check another all Japanese females Metal Band

Also please feel free to do
Black Sabbath with Ozzy: Snowblind or Symptom of the Universe (from Never Say Die live)
Iron Maiden with Paul Di'Anno: Wrathchild, Remember Tommorrow or Phantom of the Opera from Live At The Rainbow
They opened up new possibilities in the closed genre of metal. It is an elegant, beautiful and epic metal that combines elements of classical music.
Unfortunately you missed the best version where Miyako plays Chopin, on the piano of course, as an intro. It is to die for !
She is a vocal coach, not a piano teacher.
@@Glynthepin And that prevents him from appreciating a very beautiful moment of piano ????????
@@johnpaul4784 Beth is a woman, not a "him," and be sure to read the pinned comment.
I do what I can in english but I'm an old FRENCH man and I don't want to use google translate. So....
Sing in Japanese!"
ASAMI said in a NET-TV show:
"There is a reason why I write and sing English lyrics.
I think vocals are that produce called in the band.
Thinking of , I feel that English is a more harmonious tone than Japanese for our Metal music. "
I'm not a musician, but I'm convinced by ASAMI's ideas.
(Rejecting music with lyrics that you can't hear means rejecting music that is sung in all foreign languages).
(from JAPAN)
And this was live... check out their musicvideo Glory to the world. The singer Asami really shines in that song! And Haruna the drummer...
Especially as it is Miyako playing the piano...
👍😁👍
i love your reaction please do more love bites please❤️
That was funny. I didn't know all the details, thanks.
this is said to be the largest female band
it is said to be the greatest metal band
perhaps (to me) it is simply the greatest band in the world right now
Mihooooo 😭😭😭😭
Nice. Didnt expect lovebites will reach your channel. Hope lovebites also reach the charismatic voice too.
Yeah, I hope that too. Lovebites need to be seen on channels with important audiences to increase their notoriety. it's a pity they only have 64k subs
@@nicoLovebites666 I would hope The Charismatic checks them out too. I've been trying to get her to check LoveBites out without being too annoying. Of course like many she has a Patreon, but it's more like a voting system. Hopefully her fans will help out!
You have reacted to Band maid and Love bites, you’re only missing The warning from Mexico. They’re amazing too
If I could recommend only one band....it would be Lovebites
These GIRLS {no guys },wow ! Those who love music know this band, best metal nowadays!
That's a very big voice to come out of such a tiny lady. Singer Asami barely scrapes 4' 10" without her heels on but she commands that stage like a fairy Goddess.
Welcome to the Wolf Pack!!!
Thanks Beth for that reaction, now u have to check Unlucky Morpheus- Angreifer live 🤘
If you like Lovebites then you must check out Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus. Its not all female band but Fuki's voice always blow me away. 🤘

I'm suggestions the song "Set the world on fire" or "Edge of the world"
Thank you for great reaction to Lovebites.
do this again, but include the FULL performance, where Miyako plays a piece by Chopin on the piano first, it goes with the song
