Her and Takayoshi Ohmura need to work together. He's my favorite male guitar player. She's my favorite female guitar player. And why is it that Japan has so many insanely talented female metal bands? They're all so FUCKING great. I love the Japanese.
This is one of those Lovebites you don´t wanna get rid of.. I have listened to this many times now and this is one of the best performances I´ve ever heard. Miyako looks casual and soo cool.. but damn..

I bet the differ, I like both band maid and Lovebites ( BM more, though...) Kanami is NOT a shredder, in fact she tries NOT to fill up every bar with as many notes as she could play, it's more about the feeling and musicality of the songs. I like Miyako as well (my favorite member in LB), but I don't think she and Midori are the fastest shredder, at least I think ASTERISM's HAL-CA, can play faster and more complex arpeggios licks, even the 10 years old Lisa X (now 15?) could play faster than Kanami. Being able to play fast doesn't mean that person is "BETTER", what makes BM stands out is their ability to write great songs. In my opinion, catchy, funky, groovy, poppy, hard rock, metal plus cute in one dish always > Speed.
Having recently become aware of Lovebites, I was naturally watching this video for Miyako (an absolutely stellar musician who I can't seem to get enough of). What I didn't expect was a little appearance by Buck Dharma and Eric Bloom of my favorite band, Blue Öyster Cult, at the autograph table. It's natural that a lot of great talent would intersect at events like this, but that was a very pleasant surprise.
This year these amazing Japanese girl leading bands Lovebites, Aldious, D_Drive were invited to the NAMM show. Hope Scandal will be invited next year too.
Miyako is a very talented guitarist. Very impressive. They should rename NAMM to "Noisefest" as there are so many people playing instruments and testing amps at the same time that the constant noise is annoying. Luckily we can hear Miyako's playing fairly well. She makes it look easy. Thank God Japanese women are saving heavy metal. Don't glam it up or switch to "power ballads" and it may survive a second wave!!

Miyako just deals out with the fury we have come to enjoy.Midori is just as good .Miho would be great see as well, remember her from Destrose.Miyako seems to have a beautiful humble manner with her.On the axe she performs a brutal technical metal chopping sound ,we metal people simple hunger for.Go Miyako,you make the special difference in Metal.
