❤ Thank you for sharing ,I'm amazed with all the guitar shops available in this Japan districts ,and I'm jealous of Miyako-san accompaning must have had been a blast Miyako is so kawaii
How humble is Miyako!! She is one of the best metal guitarist in the world and still she got emotional trying some of these very expensive guitars!! I loved the video!! Thanks for sharing.
1:50 Didn't know Midori made 7 strings guitar, really nice. Cool to see her play it in live concerts. Thank you for having Miyako on your show. Like to see more of her and hopefully Midori.
Thank you for the video, it was great to visit these music stores with you and miyako-san! That ESP Snapper used to test pedals in the ESP Guitar Workshop is beautiful, I love the dark wood with black pickguard. And the Fujii acoustic guitar sounds awesome! It was also fun to spot my two favorite music animes in this video, BanG Dream! and Bocchi the Rock!
Wow, so cool to see Miyako in Ochanomizu! This video is amazing! Miyako had fun checking out all the different gear. I really liked the Fujii acoustic guitar. It was really cute when she was trying out all those crazy pedals! Thank you for the English subtitles, and the timestamps! Please do more videos with Miyako and the other Lovebites members! 😇🙏🏼
She is so funny when she tries different sounds of the effects pedals, she says "stop" and laughs. She is so wonderful and an amazing guitarist and beautiful. She has a kind soul.
What a wonderful walk around! Me and my best friend have been planning to go to Japan since we were teenagers, and we had originally planned to go in 2020, but we all know how that ended up shaking out. We're rescheduling for 2024 and I'm definitely adding Ochanomizu to my itinerary! For a guitarist and gear guy, this is basically paradise!
This was fun, we able to see another side Miyako-san. On stage she seems a little cold, detached, but an outstanding talented musician. Off stage she is very warm and personable. Such a beautiful person,, inside and out. Thanks for theEnglish lyrics. Watching handle the last guitar was enjoyable.
She certainly deserves it, but she doesn't need it! I liked the acoustic she played, the one with the nice wood on the back. It was made in Japan. It had a really bright tone.
Brings back memories of when I lived in Japan. As I play both guitar and saxophone, I came here often for accessories and strings and of course to try out instruments
WOORAYAMASHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someday I will visit Ochanomizu and get some great ES-355 like Ubukata Shinichi's guitar!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for great video!!!!!!!!!!!
After visiting the guitar, amplifiers, microphone/etc., and music stores in Shibuya, Yokohama, and Ochanomizu, when I first began living in Japan about 10 years ago, it was a real bummer to realize that at least 98% of all the guitar and gear brands and models, whether new (all the same price) or used (approximately 20-30% less expensive than a brand new model), each are the exact same price in each and every store. The prices did not differ whether the store was Ishibashi, Ikebe, or any other chain retail or (supposedly) independently owned store. That was an interesting but nasty first realization of the apparently unofficial price control that continues in all Japanese markets today.
There is no such thing as price control in Japan. I don't know about musical instrument stores, but other items vary depending on the store and condition. japanese people will be able to know which places are cheaper. There are shops that are famous for being cheap and shops that are famous for being expensive.
I had one of those surreal moments in Ochanomizu back 2014, determined to explore all the stores I take a super tiny lift/elevator up to the 3rd floor and step out in to a surprisingly large store mostly full of second hand instruments, after looking around I see a late 60's early 70's Rickenbacker bass hanging up high on the wall, I turn to the shop keeper in in very bad Japanese ask if I can try it - he answers me in English "sure I'll get it down for you, where are you from?" Australia "Australia! I used to live there a few years ago in Perth" I'm from Perth "wow do you know" and he lists of some names of music shop owners/staff in Perth Australia and I know all of them, EVERY SINGLE ONE, then he says "do you know" and a list of perth musicians and I know most of them and then he listed what bands he played in in Perth and I'd seen all of them.. and it worked out we'd actually met several times just in passing Then we just talked about the Perth music scene and Japanese music scene for the next couple of hours... love those sort of bizarre travel coincidences
Arigatou gozimasou for this guitar store tour, where I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US, new music is hard to find, and guitar store's are becoming even harder to find, I guess that's why compared to Miyako-San and Lovebites, everything musically coming from the Western civilization is garbage by comparison, and sadly just a small amout of us have had a musical reawakening thanks to Japan, it's starting to grow with fan's but it's got a long way to go, Ganbatte Kudisai.
I’m watching this from Las Vegas it’s so refreshing to see the difference in colors offered in Japan wish you show or scan the shops to see more of what’s hanging the walls. The shops shown are very neat n nicely arranged 👍🏻❤️ thank you I’ll see what else you have domoh Ali ga toh I hope I spelled it right 🙏
We also have a first-class Japanese guitar maker in Germany. His name is Kazuo Sato. He learned violin making in England and then decided to live in Germany and build and sell classical guitars. Today he runs the business together with his son Hideo Sato. It is said here that Kazuo Sato's guitars are among the best in the world. I would be interested to know if Kazuo's guitars can be bought in stores in his home country Japan.
If I Walked Into That Room Full Of Les Pauls I Would I Would Have A Hard Time Maintaining My Composure And If Miyako Picked One Up And Pulled Off A Quick Rendition Of Her "Break The Wall" Solo It Would Be All Over.
I'm surprised they have large dedicated sections for made in USA stuff. There's maybe a handful of stores in all of Canada that have anywhere near that amount especially of custom shop models.

So the guitar Miyako played at the last store. What do you think the Markup was after Miyako left. Labeled "Played by Miyako of Lovebites"
This here is a SOLID n' really pleasant content!
Good to see you both simply enjoying the guitars/pedals n' having fun with them!

Mr. Imanishi, this video was the best.

Thanks for the English subtitles. I watched it all. It was great. I was almost expecting Miyako-san to buy that expensive guitar at the end, LOL.

This was a great video 👏👏👏
Really awesome video and thanks so much for the English subtitles....
