I bought this gamne just to get this ship. Having said that it really does show its age vs the newer ship models and really does need an update to fix its issues just form age.
@Duffer529 it does max lock range for missiles is what 16k? I haven't played in a while so I may be remembering wrong. But even still current jets can and do have lock and missile ranges of over 100km. In a straight up fight a retaliator shouldn't need to get anywhere near direct combat.
Hmm hard decision. Retaliator is honestly a bit less engaging gameplay wise than the retaliator because of its style of play (missiles). On the other hand the retaliator has a nice design and interior compared to the redeemer just having a nice exterior design to some people and not so much interior. The redeemer does come with food and water already in it so that is a very nice bonus but honestly a lot of ships will have this in the future. I guess it depends on would you want to have a more 1 shot one kill ship which comes with a more tight interior. (Honestly though it is a really nice interior) (retaliator) or would you rather have a more prolonged and engaging fight.(redeemer) One more note is that the retalliator will have modules in the future also like e.g. a drop pod module and I think a medical one. Anyways that's probably just confused it even more but that's how I think about it lol So I prefere retalliator Thanks for the comment 👍
I wish all ship reviews I found on YT had this much useful and as well presented and well narrated information. Subbed.
Thank you very much for the comment 🙂
Nicely done and a good review. it's a pretty sweet ship! The gold pass for it's modularity should be interesting.
Thank you and yeah I can't wait for it to be done, maybe just another 4 years or so lol
@@Duffer529 lol. They did say they solved the technical hurdles for modularity but only time will tell.
Enjoying your reviews - informative and clear!
Thank you very much 👍
Nice review, I really like this ships interior
Thanks for the comment ,and yeah the ships interior feels a bit like how (in my brain) a submarine feels like to work on.

Yeah that's true, I think the whole missile system itself needs a rework imo

Yeah true, and those missiles are in space sometimes so wouldn't need to have (fuel) as much as our missiles irl right now.

I'm a solo player trying to decide between the retaliator and redeemer... One-shot stealth vs a slow mobile firing squad... Lol...
Hmm hard decision.

Redeemer is useless for solo imo
