- Check out this 32 MILLION AUEC FROM ONE ERT - bounty hunting on Star Citizen. Was the biggest haul i've ever collected in one bounty hunting mission. We went up against an ERT with a Caterpillar, A2 Hercules and a Reclaimer in the asteroids surrounding Yela. Was an epic mission from start to finish and arriving safely at CRU L4 to sell our cargo meant me and my partner netted 16 million credits each. My mate and I nearly fainted when we pulled a 304scu weevil scan on a c2 at an ert the other day. Absolutely brimming with eggs. We were to dumb to know it would despawn so we only managed to sell 8 Mil worth. ERT is way OP
Ye it is but its awesome when you get a big haul like Eggs or Maze. How long it took to despawn? as I didn’t think it would due to persistent universe.
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi it appears any soft deathed ship will despawn when you leave. We found this out the hard way.
To stop the despawning if there’s 2 of you just leave 1 behind while the other sells and make 2 trips. I did this on my 130 scu maze. I had the connie andro, My mate was about to quit the game due to me doing the mission a looting the ships he didn’t believe me but we made 10 mil that night.
Had 368 weevil in an ert today too and same happened. It was not there when I returned from the first run.
I just lost 160 scu of eggs last night the c2 didn't spawn had to claim.
Nice! I just got my personal record of 10.5 mil from one ert last night. 3 32 scu crates of eggs. But that’s the max I can get using the Corsair. I switched to all fixed deadbolts though and it’s cake. Even the 890 goes down in 5-6 hits. Hammerheads usually soft death after 4 hits. I was still using laser repeaters before yesterday and boy is it a massive difference.
I’m gonna have to try that, your the second person that’s mentioned it. Does it not full destroy the ships?
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi Once in a while I accidentally destroy one but if you stay close and you’re careful, its pretty easy. It’s almost always because I had already shot off rounds that were airborne and hit after the ship went soft death. Just stay under 1km and keep the fire rate slow enough that the last shot hits before you fire the next.

Always welcome. It’s great earning the cash to buy ships and enable cargo running without the worry of losing all your cash like I used to do. But after that, not much to spend the cash on atm.
Another tip, don't sell the maze. Wait till jumptown, accept the mission, and you can have more profit and infinite demand.

I hate going to salvage yards as my c2 got stole and sold everything but my eggs then crashed my ship into the station 110 scu eggs was able to get 50 back with good pilot. They should make tractor beams usable on stations
@@Nelleil_86 Selling to a salvage yard, you get about 11K per 8th or about 90K an SCU. During Jumptown if you take the mission, you get 20K per 8th or 160K per SCU. This is for Maze, I have not verified if it works for other contraband

Nice loot m8 😄 i do this solo whit my C2 the ERT is easy 2 times omnesky 15 Lasers and if not mistaken 2x Fr86 shields drake is easely gone same for the Hammerheads my opinion better then a conny stil wel played
cannons have greater range and you can blast em with a c2 and not take any dmg

Damn can't even get anything remotely close to this nowadays. I consider myself lucky if I find one egg container in 3 bounties and haven't even found any maze since 3.22

Yeah, the cat can only hold 24s. Another reason why I keep saying the cat needs a rework it should hold the biggest containers.
We need more expensive items and ships in the game if we keep this up. A friend of mine has bought a 890 jump from only 2 day of reclamer salvaging. There is just no point in making more money atm 😅
Ye but it’s still a thrill getting a big haul and handing in safely. Also nice to finally be able to try out the big ships with in game cash. It used to take me a week or 2 to get 1 mill in my prospector.
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi Yes it may be a bit much right now but I would much rather us all make big money and feel good. Tune the ships costs, parts, etc. accordingly lol.
Have you thought about changing to ballistics weapons on the connie you’ll get through the ERT much quicker.
I solo them with me c2. Just hate the HH in ERT as they can burn up ammo. Plus if you are in Yelas astroid belt use them. I fly around to the asteroid and wait for them fly into them.
I have tried the ballistics, but I end up blowing them up too easily so it’s just safer for me to go with the lasers. I also sometimes have to do four or five missions to get a ship with the loot that I want inside it so I used to run out of ballistics. i’ve also found that when they hit the asteroids a lot of the time they completely break apart, which only leaves me with a couple of containers rather than the full load. Not really tried them in my C2, but I know that my firepower isn’t that great and I’m quite a big target so always been a bit dubious about doing that. Will sure give it a go though, thanks for the tips. 👍

I’ll get about on average 2 ERT done before reloading when I go full ballistics, there place on Yela called Deais research facilities, you can land there for more ammo and if you get crap loot like food or something you can it here not much but it’s worth. On plus most ERT are right above this place too so you straight back into action.
Im gonna be doing some ERTs soon with a fleet of heavy fighters just to see how they fair in proper space battle lol

Is there a place to play Bounty Hunting missions only on moons and not on the asteroid like in Yela? BTW, I have HRT assignments close to VHRT.
Personally, I like Crusade more but since the missions are random and can be spawned on the Yela asteroid, I need to go to another planet that only has missions on the moons.
Yes only certain planets have asteroid fields on the nearby moons. I think Arccorp has only planetside missions and I think and they have 1 less enemy ship to deal with I believe. Obviously on the moons the bounty ships have a lot more chance to explode when they hit the floor, so you have to be much more careful.

how are the other players that lost the fight not coming back for revenge,seemed like they had enough time,maybe come back in fighter ships idk I'm also new
This wasn’t real players, I’m not great at fighting real players. Tried it in the arena mode a few times. These ships are Ai enemies from the Bounty Hunter missions in the verse. You can start them too and they’re quite easy 👍 The more you do, the more rep you get and the higher level missions become available. The higher level missions have bigger ships with more storage and drop more loot. I never made more than a million before recently and now I have quite a few of the best ships in game. Doesn’t take more than a week to get up to high level missions with massive rewards 👍
Do you still recommend rhinos? I’m running M7As at the moment and I really struggle to soft death
I’m using the M7As too and do also hard kill the ships sometimes. However the repeaters are really bad this patch so I’m gonna stick with the cannons. What ship you using?

@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi I use a Taurus as well, I got the advice to just max shield triangle mid fight and switch one cannon to the right mouse fire group so I can soft death once their shields go down

@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi just keep in mind you’ll probably have to do it near the end of each bounty cos it resets every time you go in nav or qt, but it’s pretty easy you just click one button on the mfd

Ye but all you can really do with the money is buy ships. Has been nice to try different ships out for the first time in game.

How’d you sell the drugs at the space station??
There are a couple of space stations that have a no questions asked terminal I think. The only one I know for sure is at CRU L4 on the Galleria floor in the locker room 👍

Yes, it’s the Bounty Hunter missions once you level up the rep to full. Or you can go with people who already have the rep. It’s about to get nerfed in next patch though so if you want some millions I would do them in next few days 👍

theres no server meshing, so whats so impressive?
Server meshing was just revealed to be working at citizen con. It's not gonna be fully implemented until Q3/4 of 2024 when patch 4.0 goes live.
Ye, with or without server meshing I love the game. Not played anything else for 3 months now. Getting better and better all the time. Obv looking forward to server meshing though 👌👍
