In my view, what makes Omar's videos so good, is not just the amazing content but the really friendly, relaxed way he talks to us. He really engages with his audience and makes you want to hear more. A rare talent.

On top of all that, I think what really stands out is how much he shows the work, not just tells you about it. He doesn't just have example photos over his talking, either. But really diving in with his notes and diagrams really emphasises the details he's talking about.

Man, Omar - I hope you realize how many people you’re helping to become infinitely better, calmer, more confident photographers by so consistently, humbly, and clearly sharing your wisdom with us. It feels cheesy to say so, but your videos feel like conversations with a friend, and that’s an incredibly rare thing. Thank you for taking the time you do to share all that you’ve learned with the rest of us. I’m one of many people who are better, wiser, and yes - less anxious because you have! 🙏🏻

Whenever I watch your video, I find this channel is severely underrated. I know you don't care too much on the number of subscribers or fame since you chased away brand fanboys before. But I hope these videos reach more people.. I had to watch twice and sometimes pause to read all the notes. Those are amazing examples.

Bending your hand when checking the light also gives you a sence of direcction. If light comes from above you get a shadow in your hand. I.e the raccoon eyes...

Your advice on light was very helpful. I don't take into account how much light bounces off colored surfaces influences the cast or temperature of areas of your subject. Also, after waiting your video on planning your shoot, I have used your Google Maps suggestions to help with vacation photography. I can advance scout an town I will be visiting for a limited amount time.
