नौशाद साहब की रफ़ी साहब को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि। दोनों हमारे दिलों में सदा समाये रहेंगे।
नौशाद साहब एक विलक्षण प्रतिभा के धनी संगीतकार थे। रफ़ी साहब के रूप में उन्हें एक ऐसा हीरा मिला, जिसे तराश कर उसे दिव्य चमकदार आभूषण में बदल दिया। उनके कंठ से निकलने वाले एक एक स्वर के माधुर्य और गहराई को अति सूक्ष्म दृष्टि से पहचाना और उसे नये नये विलक्षण आयाम प्रदान किये। बैजू बावरा के संगीत के माध्यम से उनके स्वरों को
इस तरह सजाया, संवारा कि रफ़ी साहब की आवाज़ के आगे सभी स्वर गौण हो गये। उनके स्वरों की मिठास अभूतपूर्व थी। गीतों के भावों के अनुरूप आवाज का modulation इस तरह का था कि विभिन्न रंगों में डूबे हुए गीतों को सुनकर कभी कभी विश्वास नहीं होता था कि ये गीत एक ही व्यक्ति के द्वारा गाए गए हैं। इसी तरह अलग-अलग अभिनेताओं के ऊपर फिल्माए गए गीतों में भी स्वरों को आवश्यकता अनुसार modulate करने की क्षमता रफ़ी साहब में थी। स्वर कितना ही ऊंचा हो, मध्यम या धीमा, उसकी मिठास हर स्तर पर क़ायम रहती थी। एक बार शास्त्रीय संगीत के धनी मन्ना डे साहब ने रफ़ी साहब को सम्पूर्ण गायक बताते हुए कहा था कि ख़ुदा ने उनको( रफ़ी) उनसे(मन्ना डे) ज्यादा नियामतें बख्शी हैं। नौशाद साहब ने सच कहा है कि स्वर सम्राट रफ़ी साहब के निधन से संगीत का एक स्वर कम हो गया है। यह संगीत जगत की अपूर्णीय क्षति है। ऐसे महान गायक को अश्रुपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि।
एक नामी,महान संगीतकार नौशाद साहब और दुसरे नामी और उतनेही महान गायक मोहम्मद रफी साहब!!
इस जोडी ने क्या कमाल के मधुर गीत दुनिया को दिये है!!

संगीत सम्राट नौशाद अली साहब भारतीय संगीत जगत के महान थे रफी साहब के जैसी मधुर आवाज़ की खोज भी नौशाद साहब की ही थे, रफी साहब की आवाज़ और गायकी का कोई जवाब आज तक नही है!

Music Director Naushad's documentary on Rafi saab is worth listening. Evergreen Naushad's poetic charisma is a tribute to the Prophet of Music Mohammed Rafi. All great Music Director's created wonderful songs sang by great singers, but look at this kudrat ka karishma, Rafi was chosen for songs like " Yeh Zindagi Ke Mele Duniya Me Kam Na Honge Afsos Hum Na Honge". All along Rafi knew his destination. A noble soul! Who came into this world conquered it and left. Rafi you still live in our hearts and this will die when we take our last breath on this earth.

I believe this heart felt tribute by Naushaad saab in its complete entirety is not available any where on internet except at your channel or at All India Radio.
Rafi saab, Naushaad saab, the song lyrics writers and screenplay directors took many of their listeners to a different world of happiness and empathy. The actors and acting is another different world.
What purpose(use) is living life without experiencing happiness, empathy, difficulties and celebrating work activity results which brings happiness and cheerfulness.

As per Naushad, Rafi came to him with a letter of recommendation from Naushad's father.[13]Rafi's first song for Naushad was "Hindustan Ke Hum Hain" ("We belong to Hindustan") for the film Pehle Aap in 1944. The first song for the duo was the soundtrack of the movie Anmol Ghadi (1946). Before Rafi, Naushad's favourite singer was Talat Mahmood. Once Naushad found Talat smoking during a recording. He was annoyed, and hired Rafi to sing all the songs of the movie Baiju Bawra.
Rafi's association with Naushad helped the former establish himself as one of the most prominent playback singers in Hindi cinema.[10] Songs from Baiju Bawra (1952) like "O duniya ke rakhwale" and "Man tarpat hari darshan ko aaj" furthered Rafi's credentials.[9]Rafi ended up singing a total of 149 songs (81 of them solo) for Naushad.[14]
In the 1960 film Mughal-E-Azam, Mohammed Rafi sang "Ae Mohabbat Zindabad", composed by Naushad, with a chorus of 100 singers.[15]
