This is my first time experiencing the go-around at the final landing, it was such a tough time onboard.

Thanks for this vlog. I am planning to book a ticket to Philippines and I have seen mixed reviews of Air China leaning more to negative. But when i saw your vlog, I think it looks nice and the food looks great.

@@mariantique4370 i was not able to book Air China, instead i took the China eastern which was cheaper that time. It was good, same as any other economy tickets. Its just the movies are not updated haha

Well, it depends where. I believer most of airline allow passengers user phone when turn to the flight mode include Air China, as Air China allowed passenger used electronic devices with flight mode since 2018 onward under CAAC’s permission.
Nice review, thanks mate. The IFE is old as they still use the 3-3-3 layout on this flight. Rather that than 3-4-3 and new IFE any day though!
Yeah, this kind of layout is still used in Air China's B777-300ER and A330-200/300 fleet. However, you can see the newer IFE system in Air China's B747-8/B787-9 Dreamliner/ A350-900 fleet.

From London to Beijing can arrive at two airports are Capital take by Air China and Daxing take by British airways and China Southern Airlines.

The bag allowance for economy class passengers is 23KG and you can take one hand bag onboard.

I am surprised Air China provided only snack boxes for a 10 hr+ flight!
It used to be like that between 2020 and first half of 2023, but it already turned to the proper meal at all of international/Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan flight at both outward and inward flights.
Qantas only serves a small hot main course with one small piece of cake on long haul flight economy class, nothing else….

The check in luggage is 23KG for economy class and one free piece, and hand luggage is 10KG and you can take one as well.

@Chris1963. Yeah, as you know flights from Europe to East Asia pass Russian airspace which is the fastest route. However, almost all airlines in Europe are not allowed to fly over Russia and they must go around Southeastern Europe and fly over the Northern Coast of Türkiye, the Transcaucasia nations, the Caspian Sea and Central Asia countries like Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and finally enter Chinese Airspace from Xinjiang. So it takes a longer time and consumes more fuel and the price will be expensive. But Chinese airlines can still fly over Russia, so it takes less time and the ticket is a bit cheaper than Europe’s airlines.
I took British Airways to London on July 9 2023 and returned to Beijing on August 1 2023, the flight time to London was 13 hours and to Beijing was 10 hours as BA need avoid Russian Airspace. You can watch the 2 flight videos on my RUclips channel.

现在入境中国不再需要核酸或者抗原。

It has a power socket under your seat in Air China's B777-300ER fleet's economy class, and hand luggage is up to 5 kg for the International route. I didn't pay attention that it has AC outlets or not.

@@ericliu3992 Yes I am flying in a couple of months to paradise, the Philippines which I am planning ahead to make sure nothing goes wrong with the connecting flights. Since I booked my flight, Air China has been changing the times which worries me as I have booked all other connecting domestic flights in the Philippines, timing it right. Sorry to ask you a lot of questions. Are there English translators available while processing through to immigration to get to the next gate?

没有绝对的好坏之分，如果你想娱乐系统比较新一些，就去坐A350且其A350机队的机龄都很新，机龄最大5年，最小才1-2年；如果你想体验GE-90发动机的推力，就去坐B777，但777机队的机龄会老一些，视频里的这架注册号为B-2033飞机的机龄已经达到11年了

你可以选择国航的空客A350或者波音787-9或者波音747-8，这些机队的娱乐系统都很新。国航的波音777机队的很多飞机的机龄已经超过10年。
Why did you play the music when the plane is taking off? I don't like to listen the music when the plane is taking off.
The reason I want add music during the takeoff, I want entertain the scene. Otherwise the clip will be too void, from the media perspective.

London to Shenzhen is operated by Shenzhen Airlines and it has flight 5 days per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shenzhen airlines is one of Air China’s subsidiaries. I think Shenzhen Airline will have good IFE and good service. You can take try.
