    Here's what I did to use my Bluetooth soundbar which also has an aux input and it works great:
    1) Use a second controller and plug it into the series x using a USB cable so it doesn't turn off after 15 minutes or so
    2) Connect a aux cable from the 3.5 headphone jack in the controller to the soundbar.
    3) Use another controller to play your games.
    Crazy that we have to do this in 2023.

    You don't need this, save your money. This will also cut you to 60hz if your tv is capable of hitting 120. Connect your series x/s like normal to the high speed HDMI port to your TV. Run an optical cable from your tv into your soundbar and it will work without cutting refresh rate. Or you can buy a cheap digital converter that has 3.5 and optical hookups and run the optics cable from the tv to the converter and 3.5 or rcas to your sound system IF your sound system is old and doesn't support optical or HDMI. This will provide you with quality sound and keep your 4k 120z. Figured I'd help out since it worked for me.

    So like the other guy that commented, I also have a Leviathan V2 Pro for my PC and XBox Series X. I have it successfully connected through and extractor and BT transmitter. The issue is that the transmitter seems to only be sending out 2 channels of audio. Not the end of the world as the uncompressed stereo performance is still pretty awesome, but I would love to be able to get the 5.1 channel audio to the sound bar since I have an extractor that is pulling the 5.1 channel signal. Do you know of any BT transmitters that for sure will transmit 5.1 audio? It is super tricky to research as the BT version (5.0 - 5.4) confuses my search results. I don't want to get rid of the V2 Pro because the PC audio performance is crazy (it really is cool), but would like to also get the 5.1 audio out of my XBox. Even getting a definitive answer like, "this device will def do that" would get me to a point where I know it's settings or firmware, etc. THX so much!

    • @RawlandUy
      @RawlandUy  18 дней назад +1

      Thanks for asking. As far as I know or "I don't know" if I would say, how a Bluetooth signal can support the 5.1 sound. Even in my research as well I have no luck. But If I can advise, you would not need to connect your speaker wirelessly to any of your sources since they are both sitting on your tv rack or monitor desk anyway (not to mention Mobile Phones or Tablets). And at the same time you will get the most out of your devices capabilities when connecting it wired.

    • @RawlandUy
      @RawlandUy  Месяц назад

      Thanks for asking. Firstly, this speaker is specially designed/built for pc's only. As you've said, only usb c port is only available on the speaker. Unfortunately, converter like the usb c to aux 3 5mm will not work as its a one way adapter. Meaning that the source supposed to be from the device with the usb c port. And the receiver should be the one with 3.5mm port. In this scenario, your speaker is the receiver but it doesn't have the 3.5mm port.

      @raredesign 2 года назад +1

      @@RawlandUy To clarify, this is because when the video and audio are provided through the extractor, they are both delayed, so appear in sync. For gaming 40ms is acceptable, and even 100ms of input lag is considered playable, which is how online multiplayer or remote gameplay often function, but if you’re sensitive to it, or if you already have another device that adds latency and it’s compounded, or if you run the video separately, such as through an NDI interface, projector, or SDI converter, and then rely on the extractor for just audio, the latency the extractor creates will be very apparent.

    So wait, I have to buy an adapter to connect my optical soundbar?
    Here is the thing, I use a gaming monitor which does not have optical or EArc connections mainly for the hight hertz. Microsoft decided to get rid of Optical, did not even include Earc support or an adapter for sound. No DP hook up support and only 1 USB hookup on the front. What was Microsoft thinking? I know hundreds of people who want optical hook up. They don't want to buy new sound sources.

    I am planning to get a soundbar, I have a question regarding the setup:
    Xbox Series X which runs at 4K/120Hz and Dolby Vision or HDR on LG Nanocell TV
    I'd like to purchase a soundbar now. If I am not mistaken, ARC or eARC should do the trick
    The connection would be like this
    Xbox Series X -> LG Nanocell TV (HDMI 2.1 Port)
    and then
    LG Nanocell TV -> Soundbar (z.B. LG SPD7Y) (HDMI 2.1 eArc)
    In theory my TV should then still show the 4K/120Hz form the Xbox but the sound should come out of the soundbar (if set right in the TV)
    Am I correct?

    Why would anyone want to cap their system that’s capable of 120hz Down to 60hz by using this adapter. Most TVs have an optical connection on the back of their TVs, just run the optical from tv to your soundbar/speaker. this video makes it way more complicating more cables and the worst part, capping your 600$ system to half of its capabilities. If you don’t have the gear to support your series x then don’t upgrade to it. Simple, stick to the Xbox one X and wait on the series X until you have all the right gear to take full advantage of its capabilities (to all the viewers).
