The last part of the video walk is actually Oak Hollow. It is a separate HOA and the three lakes are apart of that. Could you do its own video? The property extends to Fresh and includes a very nice part of Legacy Trail.
Great video. Thank you. I'd love to see some coverage of the local parks. I know Tyler is famous for its walking and biking trails. Keep up the good work!
Another nice neighborhood in Tyler is called Oakleigh Woods. It's inside the south loop, just off of old Bullard road. The two streets in this neighborhood are Rudman Road and Sherry Lane.
The sad part is that Texas property taxes are incredibly high no matter where you go. As a teacher getting ready to retire, I’m afraid I’ll have to leave Texas if I don’t want to be dirt poor. 😢. Btw, I spent two summer vacations in Chiswick, UK, and it never rained or was even cloudy. I guess I got really lucky, because it was lovely!! I love it that you love Tyler!
I lived in NOrth Tyler by the gaslight theatre and Roberts Juvenile Attention center(yes its really called the juvenile attention center) but I wanted to live in the Azeala district
@@livingintylertexas It was the 90s and it was very cheap to live there, plus I had friends in Lindale, so it was closer than living in south Tyler, there were grocery stores nearby. My car did get broken into once. Overall it was OK. Im from the DFW area and I would say I prefer Tyler to cities of a similar size in West Texas such as Abilene or Midland
I moved to Tyler when I was 3 years old. I lived in south Tyler off of rice road. I’m now 30 and moved out of Tyler 2 years ago. It’s a retirement city. It’s not a city to grow up in as a young adult.
Texas - Martinez v. Anderson County; Everyone should google this case though it is taking place in Anderson County, Smith county also uses these practices to imprison poor people in this county.
my husband grew up in the DFW area and wants us to retire there. Do you know anything about FRACKING in the area? I've heard about "cancer clusters" , high VOC's in the air, etc....
I’ll be living in Tyler for 5 years starting this July. Is there any apartment/house that could let me rent? I’ll be working as a teacher btw. Thank you!

Moved to Tyler from Dallas a year ago. Best move I ever made! I never plan on leaving!

Tyler is a good place to live and start a family but it’s quickly becoming overpopulated
Planning to move to Tyler soon. I’ve been watching the city of Tyler for at least 7 years. I retire in 6 months. Hollytree is my desired neighborhood.
Hollytree is an amazing place to be, people absolutely love it there! Give me an email if you’d like and I’d love to help you through the process 😌
Hope you got money to live in Hollytree lol 😂
Taxes are very high there.
@@livingintylertexas I live in holly tree and it’s community is the best and my neighbours are so nice
Very informative thank you! My favorites are the Historic district and Holly Tree seem to meet my family needs. Just looking into it

Very well done …..nice presentation. Beautiful part of Texas .
When I do doordash in Tyler I love going to Hollytree because the area is just so nice. I even took a break to walk around the lake over there.

Your taxes can be frozen at retirement age in Tyler.

What did you think of North Tyler? Yeah I know what you mean, the Azalea district is awesome!

Omg the gaslight theater is soooo old!! I lived in the Northside too growing up. We went to that theater all the time.
Great video yep I've traveled to all those places on my bike Great review also
Thanks very much man! I need to get myself a bike. I think it’d be a lot of run riding around here! 🚲
@@livingintylertexas yeah man you should get a 29 inch mountain bike 🚵♂️ it's alot of fun and it's easier to move around through traffic
Great cardio too! Do you cycle often?
@@livingintylertexas yes sir I do It saved me from having serious health issues and I lost 250 pounds from cycling I love it
That is awesome, great job, 250lbs loss is HUGE!! Ever thought of doing a triathlon? 👀

Cover 346-Oakbrook Estates, Country Place, etc. Whitehouse is east of there.
I love Tyler.
So do I! 🤩

I am in Houston now but I am from Tyler TX 😊
I actually want to move there God willing
That’s awesome! Let me know if you have any questions 😌
Thanks.
Dude you forgot Heritage South division!!!

Cover north Tyler
I can definitely do that! What specific neighborhoods do you think would be good for me to cover?
I don’t see any kids. Is this community for older people/retirees?
Best advice, do not move to Tyler. It is way too congested and there are no good paying jobs here.
crime is high insurance is high traffic is horrable
Their is crime everywhere@@jeepsishumate2021
The brick streets suck. Uneven and slicker than ice when wet.
