In my opinion he's MUCH BETTER THAN ZACH LAVINE AND HAS A BETTER CONTRACT
I'm not sure about much better?
I like him a bit more than LaVine next to Bron and AD but when healthy i believe LaVine has a slightly higher ceiling.
Plus i just think Lauri matches what Coach Reddick likes to run on offense.
I do think i would go all out to add Markkanen if i were The Lakers.
The cost for adding LaVine would be far less in terms of draft compensation but i just don't love LaVine between Bron and AD.
I think Markannen is not really a third star(i'm not talking in mindset) whereas LaVine is uber confident and would see himself as a star, which could clash with Bron and AD.
Markkanen plays more like a complimentary player.
