Difficult to pain and Animate in every frame that's why it NEVER is shown in the anime or movies actually. If it appears it's ALWAYS Briefly. That is the reason also Toriyama No longer draws Cell or super Saiyan 3 Goku or Goku's tail in Dragon ball. Drawing can be exhausting for animators even if they are Japanese. Also reason why Diverse PokeBalls NO longer appear in the Anime, getting the wrong PokeBall in a specific frame or character would cause incongruity and recieve hate from people.... So yeah Limiting technologies suck at accuracy. Also the PokeBalls in Manga are Colorful and transparent you can SEE Pokemon inside. Imagine drawing the Pokemon inside in every frame of the Anime for each one!
Lugia is my absolute favorite pokemon of all time. In my opinion it has the best cry in the entire anime. If johto comes to the switch it deserves new form.
Lutetium translates to silver (which is the game he fist appears) Lugeo translates to lay dormant (which is what it's known to do) *Huh............ neat*
I agree that Ho-oh and Lugia are some of the best legends , but something that shocks me is we say gold and silver while (almost) every other game is the reverse
Still to this day generation 2 was the perfect setting for Pokémon. None of the other games give me the feels that it does and this includes gen 4 remakes.

It is also huge fan theory that the Lugia from the movie is the dad of the baby Lugia in the anime and the Mother is the adult Lucgia seen in the same episode as the baby.
I remember the first time i was searching for Lugia in gold version. Back then we didn't have developed RUclips and internet so it was impossible to know thr hints and tricks. My friend told me that he his other friend caught Lugia. I was petrified that I couldn't find him after searching so much. Sneakily told my friend to tell the friend of him that I caught lugia in Kanto not Joto. That made him disclose where he caught Lugia. Happily i went to the island and got him. What beautiful times
Let us not forget also that an NPC in Ecruteak City refers to Lugia as a dragon-like creature, so I do believe it does have strong connections to dragons in regards to its origins.
I love johto so much. I love the lore, I prefer the legendaries, the starters and the region over those of gen 1 and in general I think its just better than its predecessors overall
I live in South America (Guyana) I was reading on Mew pokedex entriy in Bulbapedia and it says Mew was spotted somewhere in Guyana sometime and it was basically saying Mew isnt from the Kanto Region its from someother region. Id love if u made a video on Mew
Do the two legendary Pokemon ever interact? I feel like for two Pokemon so closely tied together, we never see any real interaction or references of the two together

@Angelo Lugtu it is theroy that the two you mentioned are Mom and baby, and the Dad was the on seen in the movie calming down the 3 legendary birds.

Lugia was created by Takeshi Shudo for the Pokémon anime. According to him Lugia is suppose to be a representation of everything into one.
