Open bolt is ridiculously simple full auto. It doesn't need an auto sear, not even a hammer, just a trigger that actuates a sear. A SMG can be made in a garage from scrap metal.
@@MagnoGetMoney they arnt illegal, they are just really hard to get and not all states allow them. You can legally own a sten and any other open bolt sub machines gun made before 1984 if you live in the right state and jump thru the hoops to own one. It’s just cheaper to make one and illegally own it then pay the stupid prices to get one legally.

I think the bolt is more shaped than it needs to be? Why the grooves that extend right back? Surely just two 10mm fins would provide adequate force to push round out of the magazine?
@@alex-qd4oz yes I know the grooves are for the ejector to run through but still I don't see why they have to extend right back. Maybe it's just easier to make a long groove with the machinery used, eg 3,4 inch cutting disc?
Well if you remember the cast bronze bolt featured in the mk1*, it didn't have the fancy grooves. I believe they made it this detailed as a deterrent to the Luty disciples of the world.
@@ALTINSEA1 after watching the video many times i found about trigger mechanism but,now I can't understand how the firing pin works, that the gun has no spring loaded firing pin,how does it fire?
bullet goes BOOM and BOOM make FORCE in all ways, and FORCE always chose the EASY WAY (longitunal hopefully) weigth of the tip : very easy "piston" : less easy but still doable. hope it help
When there is forward force there is always opposing force. When the bullet fires, since the bullet fires forward an opposing force is created ( to the rear) and the spent shell moves backwards pushing the piston back while spending the shell and feed another bullet in the chamber at the same time.

basically the sten gun is an angry stick made with coils and pipes you found in your yard. ay, pretty British to me, chap. loved it

Yeah pretty much
ironically the only guns that are illegal in the US, are the easiest to build.

I want to do one of these. Your video helped you understand how sear and the disconnector work. Thank you.
Yeah but don't do it its illegal
Easier to convert a blank firing full auto than to build one from scratch....I know this for a fact and let's just leave it at that.
(Zoraki 925)
Ahh yes the Sten gun a litera hunk of parts you can find in a garage
Sten, only gun to make an AK look complex.
The AK is complex
Excellent video, a lot of effort put in, thank you.
thank you sir.
What does the orange bar do
What is ejecting the spent bullet casings from the chamber?
there is an an ejector right behind the magazine well, but the game put it togather with the reciver so it will be transparen along with it.
you can see it at 2:31 it was transparent, top left of the screen. if you watch it on PC you can see it.
I think the bolt is more shaped than it needs to be? Why the grooves that extend right back? Surely just two 10mm fins would provide adequate force to push round out of the magazine?
I think its because of the ejector
@@alex-qd4oz yes I know the grooves are for the ejector to run through but still I don't see why they have to extend right back. Maybe it's just easier to make a long groove with the machinery used, eg 3,4 inch cutting disc?
it looks like the ejector is reaching the end of the grooves when the bolt chambers the bullet and the firing pin hits the primer

Very Good!... 74 🐄🦉🏴☠
Why don't you make a video description
on how to make a Denix replica a real firearm?
?
Cheaper and easier to make a real sten than try and convert a replica
I wonder how trigger mechanism works
did you find it.
@@ALTINSEA1 after watching the video many times i found about trigger mechanism but,now I can't understand how the firing pin works, that the gun has no spring loaded firing pin,how does it fire?
it's open bolt so the firing pin
alway petrude out.
how the empty shell ejected?
this video is new remake.

right at minute 01:44 you can how the shell ejected.
The psychedelic ammo should cheer them up.

No sé ve en qué momento el percutor del centro es empujado para dar en el centro de la bala
its a fix fring pin, the weight of the bolt is enough to set off the primer.
