I stayed at a hotel in Wilmington, North Carolina, which had SpectrAlert Classics. I even heard them go off due to burnt food. Sadly, I didn’t get a video of them, but at least they’re not as bad as the SpectrAlert Advance or the Wheelock AS or MT.
They're an interesting bunch, because they aren't the "new" device to receive the unnecessary hate bandwagon anymore. I remember the school I went to from 2nd to 4th grade had these, they're *so* loud.
The AS is doing that since it's self coded to temperal and the panel is coded to that as well so the alarm gets power for a few seconds which causes the small beep
@@gtgaming7709 late but I think he powers his alarms on the system using 24V. I have the same alarm on my safe house panel that outputs 12V to the bell circuit, the AS does the same thing this one does in the video where if I self code it, it acts as a chirping horn, though the strobe is slower due to lower voltage.
Thanks! The SpectrAlerts are the only horns so far that have managed to cause my ears to hurt through the hearing protection I use (regular over-ear headphones).
at my school we have all Wall mount advances horn strobes and a few strobe only, all indoor,we have the silent knight version of the BG12-L as the pulls.
I have the same AS he has, basically the horn is delayed which makes it impossible for the AS to code correctly, the only way to fix that is to connect it to a sync module (not sure)
this is an idea for what you should do for continuous with a very loud system. put the panel in walk test and pull the pull stations in the garage and your room and the basement so it’s quick
5:37 Those harmonizing Spectralerts is beautful

@@FrostedStrobes yup, they’re *so* loud.
Very loud
To make the Wheelock AS not chime, you connect a relay to the volume jumper and wire the alarm itself as a strobe so it goes off in continuous
@Alwaysdoinit112 yes, but it has a slight delay in the beginning on older models, so it is hard to code them with a panel
@Alwaysdoinit112 They aren't that bad on the lowest setting, but on the highest, they are earsplitting
The AS is doing that since it's self coded to temperal and the panel is coded to that as well so the alarm gets power for a few seconds which causes the small beep
I know that the newer AS devices do that, I was under the impression (as in, I was told) that the first generation AS doesn't do that.
@@FrostedStrobes usually it would do that when underpowered and coded

I like how the system here had 2 different themes for each floor, Wheelock upstairs and spectralerts in the basement
Really cool video!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
(4:39)
The stairs and the door in the basement remind me of Marv slipping down the frozen steps in Home Alone. 🤣
I saw a ton of system sensor spectralert classics on a outing I went on today. I'm actually planning on getting a spectralert classic
For all the flack they catch in this community, the SpectrAlert is actually not all that bad.
There was one in my old school and DANG MY EARS WHERE BLEEDING
Spectralert advance stop looking at me
Dead account Don’t look here hahaha! My old school had 7002ts my current school has as!
Nice job man! Love the system!
3:08 Box world LOL XDDDDD
I planned to get a Spectralert P4r
When another video?
Hey! I’ve done a system with all SpectrAlerts! And it’s loud! 😜
Great video!
Thanks! The SpectrAlerts are the only horns so far that have managed to cause my ears to hurt through the hearing protection I use (regular over-ear headphones).
Yeah I like Dem not code 3 cuz it's has a delay on the brake part
Why was the remote strobe making noise
In the garage, But in march time, but it’s actually a remote strobe for these!!!!!
The fire alarmists are in
the
Garage and your room have the same as my school
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TEST 24
I thought you were gonna tape the spectralert advance to the ceiling
I was very seriously considering that, but I figured it might seem kinda mean :P
Why a 24.5? He already made this one.
Remember kids never pull a pull station in public unless a fire emergency!
at my school we have all Wall mount advances horn strobes and a few strobe only, all indoor,we have the silent knight version of the BG12-L as the pulls.
Are you gonna have the Gamewell pull station next system test?
The tentative plan is to use multiple gamewell pulls in the next one.
Oh, okay.
I knew that the system would be system sensor
Wheelock AS is silent horn 9:12
Whats the issue with the AS?
I have the same AS he has, basically the horn is delayed which makes it impossible for the AS to code correctly, the only way to fix that is to connect it to a sync module (not sure)
With Newer AS alarms, it has a jumper configuration making it so that you can code it to Temporal 3 instead of only having volume jumpers
Did you know a Spector alert classic is among us
Upside down
Very nice system!
Thanks!
Great fire system
I heard of the angry comments about u stripping the screw
this is an idea for what you should do for continuous with a very loud system. put the panel in walk test and pull the pull stations in the garage and your room and the basement so it’s quick
Ooh another system test!
Suggestion:
SpaceAgeAV32 With Simplex 4051
Simplex 2903 with 2901-9833.
Pyrotronics Multitone.
Wheelock 7002T.
Simplex 4903-9241.
Gentex GX90-4 without the horn wired up.
Gentex Commander Remote Strobe.
Pull Stations:
Edwards 270 SPO.
Autocall 4050-001t
Simplex T-Bar.
Notifier BNG 1r
Gamewell Century.
Start System With 120 BPM.
Wheelock AS is loud horn 12:47
Ayy this uploaded on my birthday, nice video btw! I don't think first gen As's could be coded its pretty interesting.
You should do the spectralert advanced on high power
Why Don't You Just Buy A Small Cheap Panel Like MS-2?
I prefer to build them, I love working with circuits!
@@FrostedStrobes good, the MS-2 and MS-4 have limited features and you cannot have mechanical horns as it is FWR.
I would call that specteralert a j series
And I think you forgot to test the Edwards 276B
It be about time.
I hope next system test has a mechanical horn
It will
Teardrop how do you know?
He said he will use all rare alarms next system test.
Teardrop oh ok
FIRE ALARM 🔥
i had spectr alert fire alarms in my old school in 1 and 2
Also can you make 24.5 pls
Nice system.
Thank you very much!
That the garage strobe is sideways?
Nope, those older models were meant to be mounted that way
Ooooh ok
My dog is terrified of beeping like firs one
🐝 Bird
Great video 😀👍👍
yayy its back
Indeed, it is!
My school has the first gen as’ on code 3 and they work like a regular as
As what?
Good joke lol
Nice system so cool
I'm late but I dont care. This is a great video.
6:55 it is saying beep beep beep
I have the same fire alarm coming to my house in 5 DAYS isn’t that cool 🆒
Oh you'll see how loud the normal spectralerts are
Specteralert sound smoke detectors!
I’m a fan of you
Great video
How about for System Test 26 (whenever that will be) you use a Simplex 4050 or Simplex 4030
Lol it's a joke
It doesn't look like you have any neighbors.. they cant hear anything.
Hope your cat isn’t deaf lol
I live in north Carolina
... I'm up funds
Come back bro
The best of the best
Omg I LOVE IT
17:47 was loud
You mean: 12:47?
Spectr alerts are rarely in march time, that is like the most uncommon fire alarm coding on Spectr Alerts
Finley
Finally!
All system sensor and wheelock
SYSTEM TEST 24 10:15 >
That AS needs help
At 6:20
Cool
ok...
the wheellock as ;-;
😹
