One thing I forgot to mention, I actually got a bunch of new smoke detectors that I was going to put up, but I neglected to see that they were actually 2-wire detectors. Unfortunately my panel does not support 2-wire detectors at the moment so that had to be put on the wait list Lol
ALSO! This system was suggested by a user named Scimitar Raccoon, everyone go to her RUclips channel and say nice things to her! Holy moly, the influx of comments on this has been insane! Thank you all so much for the kind words, I'm happy to be back making this videos again :D I can't reply to all of these comments, there's waaay to many of them, but rest assured I am reading every one of them! I love all y'all!
Can't wait to see your new system! I am very glad that your back, I have been watching you through the past few years and enjoyed your content. RUclipsr's like you helped me get into this hobby and I am always excited to see the older RUclipsr's come back!
Welcome back! I missed you and your videos, i came back to your channel today for the memories, and also as a sort of inspiration to remake my own system (which will be up in a month or two!) and this is a good video to celebrate your return.
I'd like to thank you, as well as an accident that happened on a scouting trip for making me more aware of the alarm systems in my life, as well as of how they actually work.
I was looking for someone else to say that. Yeah those mini horns are common in places like dorms and hotel rooms where you have sleeping areas, and it's good for it to sound like an alarm in a house, because it's a sound that should quickly get you up but not startle you too much.
When I was a kid, there was a Simplex 2903 in my elementary school , that whole device scared the living daylights out of me at 8 yrs old, I thought that thing was a monster. And when my principal would announce that there would be a fire drill, I literally started crying. I hated the buzzer sound so much, that I asked my mom if I can stay home from school when fire drill day would come. I'm now 49 and I found your video and saw THAT BLASTED MONSTER AGAIN, But I made myself listen to that crazy buzzer, I still remember the look of that crazy monster and to this day., I flinch when I remember it I was diagnosed with a birth defect and one of the problems I had was I was very sensitive to VERY LOUD NOISES, which is why I was so afraid of that blasted Simplex 2093 thing! To your Simplex 2903...... You haunted me for 4 of my precious childhood years!!!!!.....but I forgive you! 🙂
Aye he's back! Killer system as always, love the older stuff, really jealous of that 2903 light plate. Using ethernet cable for the sections of the system that can't be connected all the time is actually pretty genius, same with flashing the exit sign when in alarm. That RS though, really really weird. Never heard a strobe snap like that before haha Can't wait to see what's to come at the new house!
Thanks! I'm excited for the new house too, there's lots of opportunity awaiting! The 2903 is pretty cool, it's actually a strobe plate converted to a light plate, light plates are pretty overpriced these days xD Also yes the RS was on its last leg and it decided to go out while I was filming, talk about the luck, oh well xD
Hey man I just wanted to say that that 2903 from simplex truly sounds amazing and it looks cool to and believe it or not that edwards intgirty I had I’m my school and boy they were loud I’ve been watching you ever since I was a Little boy I just found fire alarms fascinating keep up the good work on these system test videos there awesome and I’m always proud to support your channel no matter what happens 😃.
Oh my God I’m so happy I’m running on no sleep and I am more excited than I have ever thought I would be I was starting to get worried I’m so happy he’s back
Were you replacing the carpet upstairs with probably hardwood in the making of this video? I am just saying this because the floor is different from system test 25.
15:00 simply fanning with a clipboard or similar implemented should be sufficient. That is all I was shown early in my career... and even now when I am doing a test if I have a stuck detector a few seconds with a hat or clipboard usually will clear it.
dude u been gone for FOREVER glad ur back (i also have a wheelock EHS EL1 but its rebranded by radionics and the radionics model is D434 which is cool)
My family has a history of being clock enthusiasts, we just sort of have a lot of them lying around xD I can't do *all* 2903s for the next test but I do intend to use the ones I have
When I was in Middle School we had this classroom it was for special needs and it had a bathroom connected to it and one day I asked if I can use the bathroom that's out here in my classroom and my it's like can you please use the one that is in the classroom which I don't want to because I don't want the alarm to go off when I'm in the bathroom if it does come off but one of my teachers except it's okay it only has the Flushing light no sound
you should get a selector switch just like the spectalert advance one and use that for coding options right now your method looks a little weird and complicated and not clean

maybe you could just do what newageserveralarm did and just put relays everywhere lol
Yes 👍🏻👍🏻
lol
That edwards intergraty really screams I had Edward integrity’s in my elementary school and the were loud as heck
Got no epidural

Welcome back! My middle school’s exit signs flashed like that when the FA went off.
Bien pro
Welcome back! Best of luck with the move! (also love the Wheelock EHS-EL1, Wheelock rules :P)

for system test 27 can you do a mix of rare stuff from test 25 and some federal signal alarms and some simplex
Great to see your back! That mechanical horn sounds amazing. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for the future!
Your back! To me, you are like the second Newageserveralarm. Great video!
Sure
I'd like to thank you, as well as an accident that happened on a scouting trip for making me more aware of the alarm systems in my life, as well as of how they actually work.
The alarm in the garage on code 3, it sounds like a regular home smoke detector.
I was looking for someone else to say that. Yeah those mini horns are common in places like dorms and hotel rooms where you have sleeping areas, and it's good for it to sound like an alarm in a house, because it's a sound that should quickly get you up but not startle you too much.
Awesome vid!! Can't wait to see new system test vids in your new house when you move out!!

The LED light on the detector dims when the light flashes it’s because it’s taking the energy

In one of the next system test videos, you should try to do all low frequency sounders, if you can

Yup, I agree!❤❤
Sandals in the winter, based. Very good test btw, can’t wait for spring!
cat: here he goes again with him filming those silly fire alarms
the strobe flashing loudly could be coming from the flash capacitor
Were you replacing the carpet upstairs with probably hardwood in the making of this video? I am just saying this because the floor is different from system test 25.
Yup! All the carpet upstairs was replaced, in the hallway with wood flooring, and in the bedrooms with a new white carpet.
That’s a nice update!
At my school when I tested an emergency light the AC light on it dims too when I press it
Glad your back!!! Really nice video and nice GXS’s
Welcome back; awesome video and interesting system ;)
That RS strobe definitely doesn't sound healthy :/

Awesome video! Glad to see your back!
The rs xenon tube is off. Its diagonal and its supposed too be vertical. The xenon tube isn't making proper connection causing it to pop loudly
HOLY SHIT! THIS IS REAL. THIS IS REAL!
Yup!❤❤❤
The sounder just by the panel sound fire! Like the simplex federal signal 450D
Hey this is just like System Test 30 From NewAgeServerAlarm!

3:15 Was that a freakin' BETAMAX VCR?!
Yeah! I have a couple of them actually, haven't actually gotten the chance to test all of them yet but as far as I know at least one works xD
I'm so happy that he's back
8:46 you don't have to flip the switch. You can just close it and it flips the switch back up.
Maybe he just prefers to flip the switch, sometimes I just do it because I like to.
Integrity strobes with red-lettered candela ratings are synchronized.
why do u have a dismantled mantle clock behind the panel and welcome back its been years or months since last test and can we do all 2903s next test

I can't do *all* 2903s for the next test but I do intend to use the ones I have

How come the alarms stutter like that before going off?
Hey One tip with getting Smoke Saber out of your Smoke Detectors is you should try Vacuuming Out the Smoke Chambers!

How the actual fuck did I miss this!? This is epic!
My school on my school's rating that same smoke detectors Nexus 2 stereo but it ran a stage 3 and it was it had like a 10 second round sound
The simplex gx 90 is set to smoke alarm
Thank god ur back i’ve been waiting for 2 years
Integrity's. If you were at my school, you'd have a fest with the Integrity's.
Also some Gentex Commanders
I’ve been waiting so long for this also a suggestion is could you do the 2901-9838 in a 4903-9101 (if you have one
I do not currently have a 4903-9101, but rest assured whenever I get one I'm going to do a system with that particular theme in mind xD
@@FrostedStrobes oh could you do the 4903-9241 then

@FrostedStrobes can you watch system test 27 28 29 30 and mini system test 31 32 33 and mini system test 34 35 36 come soon
I’ve been watching since System Test 13
WELCOME BACK
Very nice. Welcome back
The RS probably needs a new capacitor
Wait did you move your room I remember your room Was the one in front of the stairs
Yes I did, I moved across my house to a slightly larger room xD
Stage 2 the GX90 sounds like a smoke alarm on low battery.
That 2903 looks familiar =)
Ima say nice things to you now :3
Hi Scimitar
He he yeah it does
When you use that smoke can it runs the same one all the school does
Doesn’t Gentex make the GX90?
Yes, Simplex's model is a rebrand. Funnily enough, if you peel off the Simplex sticker, the engraved Gentex logo is underneath.
@@FrostedStrobes that’s funny! Thanks!
I wonder what’s new? 🤔
Exit-sign 250?
What is 2 stage?
Glad you back
Fun Fact: You Can Actually Just Close The NBG-12 While Reseting It And It Will Automatically Lift The Switch Up So You Won’t Have Too ;)
yooo why were you gone for so long?
Don’t you mean epilepsy? A much better way to say that would just be epilepsy
It has been updated for the next video
The exit sign is cool
i gotta be the only one who thought that exit sign was making a noise or is it just me
i have that alarm in my school, its at the hallway where my classroom is near
you should get a selector switch just like the spectalert advance one and use that for coding options right now your method looks a little weird and complicated and not clean
The basement system sounds like in system test 19
Nice, and welcome back.
your back! 2022!

13:30 sounds like a normal smoke alarm
Can you give me a Edwards genesis horn strobe red and a Edwards pull station dull action one with the key and wires to make it work
