    the windsurfing today is so much different than when it first came about, when I was totally hooked and sailed daily and bought every magazine out. I got to meet my hero Robby Naish at the World cup in San Francisco in 1986-87 and he was the best and nicest and coolest guy ever.

    80s the golden era, not only for windsurfing, but quite above all for windsurfing.
    Mark Angulo and Robby Naish, biggest respect. The icons of that era, to me.

    I was living in Kailua in 81 when short board thing was going off.
    We where all thinking how fast we where and then Robby would come out for a sail with no harness on just that perfect stance and just blow by all us. At the time it seem like it would go on for ever.
    I look back on the 80's some of the best times of my life in Kailua.
