It has clear polyurethane on it. Bob took care of that too!

You know what I did was take two 3"widex length of the vise strips on the jaws of the vise to protect it from getting dented or nicked by the things I'm clamping and it also gives it a better grip. You could even use those drawer liners that's actually what I'm using now on my Rockler vise some hot glue good to go

Show me how you extend it? You need to use both hands under table to release locks, and use your teeth to extend vice? You have to add teeth bite atachement :)
