Hey bud, Ive gotta say when ever I'm watching a channel and then said oak mentions me always makes the hairs stands up on my arms and chokes me up a bit!!! Thats special!!!! Thank you mate!!! X 🍻🍻🍻
Hi mate. I followed your advice and watched Ben on Hew and Awe. What a relaxing pleasure to watch a woodworking vidéo without having your ears blown off by loud machineries noises. Thanks for the advice. Cheers
Neat solution Mark. If the magnet doesn’t work you could screw a small piece of wood, with a rebate to hook over the pipe clamp, to retain the front piece of the vice.
I didn't realise the workbench slabs aren't permanently attached, that's a genius idea from ol' Kuffy! My workbench does not come apart and will never leave this workshop 😄
My workbench is layered up and built upon, there'd be no way I'd be getting it apart. Anyway, that's a great idea for a vice. I don't have a bench one and it's something I really need.
Nice one! Should be a good temporary vice. Though I guess it depends on your definition of temporary. My temporary basement door has been installed for 5 years now haha!
Great idea - 'temporary' is such an elastic word isn't it? I still have a temporary clamp holding my drill press guide together (four years). Gonna check out Hew & Awe now.
@@dainermade I watched it twice at x1 speed. The judges are still voting, it's either this or Paul Jackmans new video that'll take first place as best video of the day.
Do you see any reason you couldn't put the "quick release" side of the vise up close to the edge, so you didn't have to reach all the way around the bench top? Maybe with a second support for the pipe that sticks out behind.
Freezing our tits off in Victoria and this guy has a fan going in winter. Bloody hell mate! Great temporary vice idea. If a man says he'll do something there's no need to remind him every 6 months it's not done yet. :D
I hate to have to break the news to you, but it has to be done. Your account has been hacked. There is some bloke with a hand plane. You have had many things in your hands, but not that
I can't figure out if this guy has a beard or not. I think it proves somebody took over the channel and are just publising the real Marks old recordings as "new" videos.
Great job Mark! Love the laser work on there 😁😁 🗜️🗜️ when you said the least watched RUclips channel I thought you were going to mention the CLAMP RUclips channel😂😂

that definitely is outside the box thinking, what a cool idea
Hi Mark,
A very good solution for a vise. practical and convenient. I love 1:13 :-) bye mate. all the best.
@@dainermade thanks dude. see you later.

First pipe clamp video I've watched today 😬 good job Mark.
I've watched it twice and now RUclips is recommending all sorts of pipe clamp vise videos, it's gonna be a great day :-)
@@dainermade A/B testing. Legend level req

That'll get you outta trouble for a while. "A while", "temporary", or "forever" are all interchangeable 🤣
Bloody good vice mate, and it's even got a quick release. Well done ❤️❤️❤️

apply some wax to the guide pin. this make the movement smoother and help prevent the racking. this may alow for just 1 magnet.
Second pipe clamp vise I’ve seen today

Top Stuff mate - you forgot the choice 70s musical accompaniments that come along with Ben's channel 🤣🤣
It's hard to remember everything when you're this old James. We're not all in our 20's like you ;-)

Oh shit! Run for your lives: he's got a hand plane!! Great temporary (forever) solution.
my old workbench had a double pipe clamp vice on it and it worked amazing. i dont know whats better the vice or the logo on it, haha
Haha brings a whole new meaning to clamp vice
One thing I haven't got is a decent vice, I made a moxon vice but lost the footage, excellent vid 👍
@@dainermade No worries, wish I had more time to do more videos, Possum version coming soon

Interesting idea Mark. Recently I have seen a few makers doing this. I am sure yours is only going to be a temporary setup 😜
Nice use of material mate, your a buzz to watch. And yes H&A are awesome.
Check out “ powerful vice using old car shock absorbers” video, I’m sure you can make one!
Awesome video. As soon as you said “Underrated creator” I immediately thought of Hew and Awe. Love it!
Yeah Ben is awesome.
My names mark and I got a new camera angle. Has to be the new catch phrase.
You lose me when it all goes to plan to get jealous
