Actually competition is always good !

  • @Amdbz
    @Amdbz  +6

Well, competitions good if it brings down the prices of both, that’s even better

  • @markmonse5285

Whatever happens with his satellites, the only sure thing is that the lawyers will get richer..

  • @garryhammond3117

Joe! - If your hair gets any bigger, you could be mistaken for a "cone head" - lol

  • @jamesnicholls9969

in 2023 ULA launched 3 times SpaceX launched 96 times. Ula said that 2023 was a good year

  • @mike95826

It is just a frequency grab to occupy bandwidth that Starlink might be wanting to use to expand in the future. The Russians and Chinese are doing the same thing. I haven't looked at the proposal, but I would guess, is that Bezos would be putting his satellites in a somewhat higher orbit so he wouldn't need as many to cover any particular land area. He also, by doing that, would be limiting the number of customers he could serve.

  • @patriciaort9172

Bezos doesn't have a chance in hell.

Maybe Amazon Firesticks might run straight satellite as part of the subscription.

  • @shokowillard

Jeff has a huge advantage over SpaceX in that he has AWS, and ground stations can easily be set next to his cloud regions but for him to take this golden opportunity he has to swallow the gigantic pill called pride and talk to Elon to get his satellites into space

  • @HADDEN67

By the time you can get a Kuiper internet service you will be able to get a Starlink mobile service.

  • @johnkwolf

This one is a good one thinks

  • @jimshreve83

    Completion is good,

  • @Gilikemail

People wouldn't be in such a hurry for you to get to the point if they were enjoying a cup of Dark Moon Tea while watching.

  • @glynnetolar4423

He likes hearing himself talk. That's the short version.

  • @avgjoe5969

One other problem. Kuiper needs to get up 1600 sats by July 2026 or loose his FCC license (1/2 the 3300 that he sold to the FCC).

  • @patriciaort9172

So, this is a bit random, but i wondered about the animation playing on the screen behind you. Is that one of those Screensaver/relaxation videos that can be found on RUclips? If so, does RUclips not have a problem with that playing in the background? Or is it your own screensaver? I like the way that looks.

  • @honeybadgers1996

Yes Joe. As I was noticing your hair somehow, you mentioned about your hair. LOL... At least you have a whole set of hair!! No Sir, Kuiper has a lot of catchup to do. Bezos' technology will never be compatible nor better than Elon's. Only advantage Bezos has is the current Gov administration likes him. Thanks for sharing your video.

  • @GlenKowalchuk

LEO orbit ~90 mins & Jeffrey has 2 birds so every 45 mins you'd get <5 mins Internet IF YOUR ANTENNA HAD 180 Degrees LOS from horizon to horizon. Thats 5+5=10mins/hr. What are you suppose to do for the other 50 minutes until the next bird flies over? Seriously? 😢
