I have a tiago.ev, the most annoying negative is not being able to fit the reverse sensor in the top end. Audio feedback is required in city drives, when we take eye from the dashboard camera someone will jump behind the car. Secondly less fit and finish, getting little rattle sound on running rough roads.

why not on highway bro currently i am staying in angul odisha and my native town is cuttuck which is 108kms ohk and to travel this distance we have to take national highway 55 and the speed that busses generally maintain in this highway is around 100kmph tata tiago ev is a perfect car to buy for locals like us and it is 4star rated car way more safer than CHINESE MG COMET EV which looks like a toy car , consider all the requirements Tthen speak ohk just dont try to be oversmart and from where did you graduated ? comet ka base varient on road 7.38 lakh ka aata hai, tiago ka 8.41 ka (on road indore) for a single person to commute in city comet might be a good choice but for family sitting tiago will be good, none of these two are practical as a primary car they should be secondary cars just for regular commute or roaming around city

I have a Tiago ev top model which is driven 20,000 km only in 8 months. Everything is great but the car's fit and finish could have been better and it should at least have an adjustable rear headrest and a front arm rest. And I have noticed some exposed wires in the car also but it's overall a good car and has decent power and features. In my opinion it is a better and more practical car than comet. It easily gives a range of 220km in normal city traffic also.
But you are comparing long range version.. mene Medium range wale se compare kara h
But the mid range Tiago ev has less features than the mg comet ev.
Bro desh loha price kitna bhi zyada ho safe and secure ( TATA ) hi Lena chahiye aur mai isliye kaha Raha hu ki mere mama ke pass tata Tiago electric top model hai super real range 250+🔥 and fully comfortable 🔥. 🫡
I have tiago.ev as primary car which is 37500 km driven. Main problem is charging infra and company didn't give reverse parking camera
Ev mili jo price me, usme kya khoz rahe ho😂, after market aasani se lagwa sakte ho
i also drove 31000, and found reverse camera a major missing, also may engineering errors in car, side mirror is very sensitive, switching gears in rush is painfull

It looks good from the back. From the front it looks ugly.
If Tiago base model priced at 8 Lacs, then MG Comet base model should be priced at 6.5 L, then its rightly positioned.
I must say MG has done great job in positioning this car as premium micro-EV. This is much needed in cities
Very good comparison....which car safety features are best.....in case of accident....Comet is ok better than buying a bike...if u have lot of money, especially in rains...but not worth 7 lacs its ok for 2 people and emergency pick up a third person...sitting behind in a 2 door car feels like u are trapped ...

If the government wants to promote EVs, they should control prices. EVs, with just a battery and fiber material, cost 20% more than petrol cars with complex engines. We need better range (300-500 km) and fast charging. Current high prices and low resale value are major issues. #EV #India #Sustainability

1 lakh ke difference ke hisab se to tiago ev hi sahi he.. city + Highway trip pe bhi kahi jaa rahe he to fast charging bhi available he.. aur jyada log ja bhi sakte he.. mg comet to options hi khtm kar deta he city ke alava kuch fayda nahi he uska.. my personal opinion is car is not for features, it is for travel.. so for travel mg comet is no where. Jyada paise vale log as a 2nd car mg comet le sakte he varna for primary car to galti se bhi vo lene layak nahi he.. and ofcourse travel ki baat aati he to safety ratings matters. Mere pas jyada paise aa jaye tab lunga comet ev as a second car 😂😂

MG needs some serious cost cutting be it in tech, or other not so imp bits in any car. Comet is a super duper daily travel hit, making city travel blessed with affordability and ease. But real price range should be 5-6 lakhs. spending 7-8 lakhs for tiago makes sense but for comet it doesnt. The day India's ev game improves, and MG manages to launch this at 5lakh+ leading to under 6lakh on road price, this will be a banger. I hope within 2025 this dream come true happens because tata has diversified its ev car list with newer cars every year and once affordable ev's(under 10 lakhs) are launched, tiago being a 1st gen ev will significantly lose price. Logically and practically Tiago with real range of 200kms under 7 lakhs makes a hell lot of sense and comet will absolutely lose its importance with 0 sales.
