Kind of insane how good even cheap instruments are compared to what they used to be like 20-30 years ago...just a good setup and you can do quite a bit with a cheapo unit.
The 2 on the bottom are tone for each pickup and the upper ones are volume for each pickup. There is no switch to select pickup, you just turn the volume up or down for which one you want or mix them as you like.
At first I think it was going through a distortion pedal into the amp which also was on over drive. It took a minute to see what was going on. I had to tune it also. OK wath to the end you'll hear me say it's plugged into a little guitar research amp. The speaker in it does buzz. Watch the follow up video to hear the bass better.
the only ktaxon review worth watching
thanks for the vid man, was just taking a look at this lol and decided to search up some vids!
Thanks for watching
@ no prob boss, just got into playing bass
Thank you for the video. I'm looking at one of these right now. I'm not a bass player. But I don't want a toy/complete piece of crap either
I've had a chance to play with it a bit now and I like it. It stays in tune and has a good sound. I have nothing bad to say about it.
Oh and thanks for watching :)
Thank you for this video 🙏

Thank you for watching. I know right? It may need a little bit of a setup but it works. The pick-ups aren't that great but they'll do.
I bought the ktaxon burning fire bass a few months ago. It was so good I replaced my $1400 Ibanez with it. No setup required.
Do you know what the 4 knobs do? I know one is volume but the other ones I’m confused about

Why so much buzz, is that the bass or the amp?

The bass sounds good but the amp is terrible try the sound with a amp better and see if it sounds different
I think I ws running that through the Fender Champ 30. The mic on the camera wasn't so good. But the bass does sound good.
Eeeew just listened again. That amp might have been 15 watt guitar research amp. All that rattling must have been that.
