Gotta love how when you start it up, it shows a regular ps4. But when you put it in sleep mode, it shows a ps4 slim
Mine is slim and while starting upbit shows the slim and at rest mode or turning off mode it shows the slim as well

i got it too but sometimes the home menu lags for like 1 second, for example when i'm going up to notifications, there is a small lag.

Optical port is used for headsets like Turtle beach and Astro. since the slim doesn't have an optical port if you want to use the full features of your headset I suggest heading to the support page of whatever brand you're attempting to use, and then find solutions for the Slim PS4 under the specific headset you own. In my case my 1080P HDTV has an optical out port in the back of it, so I plug the USB transmitter into my PS4 Slim via USB and then connect the optical in, into the transmitter, and the optical out into the back of my TV and walaa! If you're PS4 Slim is too far away from your tv for the optical cable that came with your headset to reach you may have to think about buying a longer optical cable online or at any retail location with an electronics section. Typically I believe you can get upto 12ft optical cords for under $30 at most places, and probably cheaper if you look online a bit. Hope this helped clear things up for you! I was scratching my head last night about the same thing but finally figured it out :)

LoneWolf 55 just download/transfer all the content/data from the PS4 to a USB drive then when you get the slim just plug the USB in transfer the content/data to it

Avishek Saha the ps4 is region unlocked so it will work anywhere. the only thing is that you might need to get a different power cord to connect to the electrical outlet depending on the electrical outlet they use on india.
