If your having a issue connecting your controller after reset it’s because the cable you are using to connect can’t be used to boot up the PS4 (it’s not the one that came with the PS4) some usb cables just charge your controller and can’t also be used to control data like that. I picked one up from GameStop and it worked after the guy explained this to me. Hope this helps someone out there...

I plugged in a wired remote and it in “connect duel shock 4 controller by plugging in usb” I press home and nothing happens but if I press options/share it says cannot display menu now so it’s connected but does that mean it’s stuck. What should I do?
