I have time issues also i don’t understand how they expect you to deliver fast when you have to follow the speed limit plus always lock the truck out & do all the safety procedures when exiting & returning to the truck like I confused
A lot of times carriers don't even follow the safety procedures because it can be time consuming. Idk about other post offices but the one I worked at they really pressured us about getting finished on time. Calling us every 30 minutes to see where we're at, why aren't we at this or that location yet. Like they were really rushing us but y'all want us to follow every rule and be safe.
Cherry Jay thats what im confused about all the extraness of the safety procedures yeah I get it may save lives but it adds so much time & then I’m told I gotta pick up the pace.... like how tell me which billion of these should I skip to get my 20 packages delivered in a hour not to mention the switch up routes doesn’t help the matter

Did you give your two week notice immediately after your 2 week orientation?

Naw. The job itself was pretty cool, i just didn’t like the location I was sent to.

How long did it take them to send your orientation letter?
