Just came across your video, sooo great! Quick question, does the power of the oven matter? Someone told me the oven should be at least 1600w, but I couldn’t find affordable ones with this power. Thank you!
Hi grrl!! I watched this earlier on my smart tv but I duno how to do comments fm there lmao so I came back on phone!! This is very helpful! Idr if mine was Hamilton Beach but it was fm Walmart for 20$ or so too! But like I mentioned on IG I don't think I was tenting yet😋 so that was probably the issue I was having 😂 I've just been using our regular oven since before and after that lil one 🤷 I had donated the lil one alrdy or else I may have tried again and yeah!! Why do the kitchen things always have super short cords?? 😓 Anyways I love that u were so thorough in this video!! It's super helpful!! I hope loads of ppl get to see it!! Leme go see if I can share on my IG stories!! I can help u help ppl!!!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you boo 😘 and for reals! Tenting (I didn’t know that’s what it was called 😂) really helps a lot! And I wonder why they have short cords too… like even when u use it in the kitchen, it still needs to be long enough to reach the outlet 😂
I made polymer clay earrings and put them in a preheated oven (not a toaster oven). About 5 minutes later, they were all melted and runny. I put them in a tray with wax paper and that was about it. It was also my first time making them. Now, polymer does not melt and instead hardens. Don't know what went wrong. Need help. It's a university project. 😵
It melted? 😱 r u sure it’s polymer clay and that the temperature is correct? Also, don’t use wax paper. But if it hardens, that means it’s working now, right?
Not with the cover lid! Over time it’ll brown and then maybe burn then I think? But i usually switch out the paper after 5 uses so haven’t had that problem yet
According to the internet, normal paper will catch on fire in the oven if the temperature is higher than 400 degrees Fahrenheit or if the paper is super close to the heat source (that area is probably higher than 400 anyways ). Polymer Clay bakes around 250-ish degrees Fahrenheit depending on the brand
I have never thought of using a toaster oven. I use conventional oven. I use an old cookie sheet w/ parchment paper on bottom and covered on top. But yet a few times my projects get burnt. Especially my tiny Gudetama figurine. His little arms and legs turned black. As did his flat egg white bed. How the fuck can you cover over it with acrylic paint? Do they sell a burnt primer? Help or help me Jesus Christ!
If it’s a slight surface burn, you can try to sand it off. But if it’s a deep burn, like it’s brown within your whole clay, I think painting with acrylic paint or starting over would be the best option 😢
You are so laid back and I love that! I immediately subscribed! I love it
Love this video. So talented. Love the cat family examples. So helpful and love the humor 💖 Thanks for the great tips.

I have exact same oven with exact awfully short cord. Sometimes I have to put in the floor to be able to reach electric socket.
Your experiment (daddy, mommy, and baby cats) is so cute >________
hahahahah thank you xD
You can use heat resistance tape on the dial after setting your temperature to prevent it from dropping down, am not sure how well this will work tho
Didn’t know there was heat resistance tape! Gotta look into that. Thank you!
@@Tomatoda Welcome ☺😊❤

This is amazing!

I burned my heart plate and now it looks like burned bread dough 😂

it doesn't burn for me
You should probably open up your oven and check what's up with the temperature knob
When you said the d word i subbed your channel 😂😂😂😂😂 you like to have fun like me😂😂😂😂🎉
Won't the paper burn in the oven
