I agree. They discriminated against him badly. This is why I don't really watch the NBA anymore because it is supposed to be about equality and diversity, but the USA as a whole was never a representation of that, so I watched the NBA less and less, especially when you consider that Jeremy Lin doesn't get flagrant fouls for being fouled hard and they either call it a regular foul or don't get a foul call at all. People were like "Oh man up," but these are the same idiots who are like "Hey man, that was a foul!" when the player is black, white, or whatever. Apparently being Asian means you should not get your call. That is what they are really saying.

I loved Jeremy Lin, true fan.
But even I can acknowledge that his on-ball defense was lackluster, and he didn’t have the strength to drive hard with his left hand. Combined with high turnover rate, he wasn’t destined to be a longterm starter. If he cut down the turnovers he could have been a backup PG, but not even a sixth man.
The only way he could have been an NBA player was if he stayed hot from the field (like in Linsanity) and if he had a whole offense built around his obvious core strength: running the pick and roll. This is what happened under D’Antoni. I truly think Jeremy was better than the vast majority of players at running a pick and roll offense. But this means handing him the keys to your team, and building around him. Anthony in NY and Harden in Houston would make that impossible.

The NBA didn't discriminate Lin for being Asian. He is discriminated because he gets injured A LOT. He has the skills but his body just cant keep up with the aggressiveness of the game.
Lin doesn't play defense, block out, rebound or attack the basket with confidence. He needed to be a go to guy but plays to timid. I can see why he didn't last. You cant just be a shooter and passer to stay in the NBA. Look at curry he takes control of the game and looks to shoot. I'm not saying Lin doesn't have the talent he just doesn't use it to his full potential.
