Dort Financial Center, Flint -- Arena Tour

The Dort has all the makings of a classic, semi-pro hockey arena. When you walk in -- and it's a fair hike from the bus drop-off to the dressing room -- you feel like you're about to play Reggie Dunlop and the Charlestown Chiefs for a game. There are no architectural features that give the building a particular aesthetic appeal and the location isn't great but the arena bowl has been upgraded recently and it looks like a great place to take in a game. My only regret is that I haven't been here yet for a playoff game because the Dort has some great energy and it can definitely get loud.

There used to be a second rink over there in that empty space. That’s where all the high school hockey was played back in the day

Would that be the same rink the old senior league played in back in the 90s? If so my late dad would have came to play when the old brantford smoke would come over and played
