Arena Tour -- Progressive Auto Sales Arena, Sarnia

Some of the camera work here is worse than usual because I wanted to make sure the faces of kids and others were kept out of the video. But when we got to Sarnia early today, I wanted to take you on a walk around the arena. Progressive Auto Sales Arena is, in my opinion, a perfect junior hockey rink. There have been innovative upgrades in design and creature comforts since this rink opened in 1998, but Progressive Auto Sales delivers all you really need. The right number of seats, the necessary amenities like suites and a restaurant/bar area, and a community rink for minor hockey attached. When I think junior hockey in Canada, this is the kind of rink I think of. It's everything you need. Oh, and if you think this place looks like Guelph, you're right! The Sleeman Centre came along a few years later and it's like they took out the cookie cutter and duplicated this place.
