Great results Sim, well done mate, you have really cracked this one. I just love how simple you make everything look and how it should be possible for me to build this. Thank you so very much for all of these educational and interesting videos.
Have fun with your next project and thank you for these great videos,
    Joe

Hi Sim, well it is a struggle and I really bit off more than I can chew! I will get a Diorama done by the end of the month and it will have most of what I wanted in it. There were a few problems along the way and a couple of months where I could do nothing due to my crappy knees playing up and needing to take strong pain killers again. So will it be as good as I wanted?, no, but it will still be a big Diorama.
I am starting the assembly after work today and then as and when I have time, I will build it up until I am happy. I will probably stop on Sunday and take lots of photos and video of the Diorama and then it will have to be taken apart again as it's just too big for this little bungalow that we live in. The diorama is four feet by four feet, so that's sixteen square feet of space to fill!!!! I might just be working through the night!! I just hope that it will look okay and not be a disappointment.
In future I will scale back my plans and do much smaller dioramas and a lot less panic! LOL
Take care mate and say hello to John and Steve next time you speak with them.
      Have fun my friend,
      Joe

Is it important that you use an enamel wash over acrylic paint base?

These videos have been really useful for me whilst struggling a bit with a WWI vignette. You tip on weathering duck boards were especially helpful! Now I'm trying to make 1/35 scale barbed wire and it's a lot harder than I thought. I've been trying to find part 4 but I can't so perhaps it's still in the making? Any tips for making scale accurate (-ish) barbed wire?
