I disagree, The Bipod is amazing with LMG's because you can always adjust and get used to the weapons recoil but when you need to hold down a position, a deployed bipod with some cover is deadly, you can just auto fire a rain of accurate shots down the line. As long as you are not staying in that place too long and you are smart, the bipod is actually a great attachment.
Bipod is a crutch. If one person uses a stubby and top scores, and someone on the other team uses bipod and top scores, 9/10 the team who’s best player isn’t using the bipod will win. This comes down to versatility. Yes, a bipod allows you to get easy kills, but you sacrifice your movement, your objective play, and you will lose way more 1v1 gunfights where you aren’t proned out. Yes, this is a 6 year old comment, but it’s still filled to the brim with misinformation. No, if you’re smart you will use stubby and your wasd keys and play with your team. If you’re worthless playing with your team, then picking some people off with a bipod is probably better than nothing. Saying “the bipod is amazing with LMGs” is technically true, but this is only due to ease of use. You essentially beat ANYBODY who turns the corner of where you’re looking. If you don’t, you genuinely just suck. This does not mean that it is the most effective playstyle, it only means it’s the easiest.
@@HeroinChrist stubby grip only affects full auto spread and lets be honest most of us tap fire so not much difference, I'd just belly on the floor lay the bipod and hold lmb at longer ranges than use unreliable grips
Shaunak Nandigam yeah I tend to run the bipod on the pkp with the magnifier. I barely use the bipod but there's always the occasional long range sniper I get to fuck with and the bipod definitely helps with that on maps with large sightlines, I can definitely see why it can become a crutch for newer or dumber players though. So for me it's basically a choice between something that doesn't help me at all or something that's almost never used but when it is it helps a lot.
Rambo: LMG: M60E4 With ergo grip and laser (because Rambo loves his hip fire) Offensive upgrade set Ammo Box Claymores (to hide in the forest..) The magnum because it is a gritty gun for a gritty guy. And the bowie knife because what 80's action star didnt have one?
Currently sitting at 360 kills on m60, such a great gun. Yeah the iron sights hurt it but you know the old saying ... spray and prey. My use, bipod, acog, heavy barrel. Close range, rds, stubby grip, laser & heavy barrel. Once deployed on bipod after the initial burst or recoil the gun sets and has a slow climb upwards. With 100 rounds, the enemy is going down, iron sights or not !
I never thought of the possibilities of this LMG, I'll use it later on. And about the bipod thing, I do think the bipod is really effective at Rush (defensive team) on close quarters. Also it's really satisfying when you drop 5 soldiers in a row and you keep on supressing the rest. Don't get me wrong, I understand your point of view but my point is that there are some situations where the bipod outperformes. Great video nontheless!
I honestly think that the bipod is the only thing you should put in that slot, it decreases bullet bloom and recoil, it's what allows me to take out really dug in targets and longer range enemies, unlike foregrips that only help in one aspect or another
SamBaker BF4 i think i died once and that was like a year ago to a ucav, i just dont like the way you have to unlock it, i suck at flying jets and thats why i'll never get the bow because of the requirements
The FLIR 2x scope removes the iron sight post interference and is quite good against smoke grenades as well. Though you don't have quite the distance capabilities of a 3.4x or 4 x optic you can still engage enemies at medium distances effectively.
a little side note, in it's military life time and now with the Danish military they use a optic riser so it goes over the front sight so it doesn't block it at all
Please do the PKP next. You mentioned it as one of the heavier-hitting LMGs in this video, and I have recently grown an interest for LMGs. Especially the high-caliber, low RoF, highly-suppressive ones. I would also like to see you use more bipods on your videos, and try to simulate real life situations in your gameplay. I guess you already do it on your Loadout series, but some guns are meant to be played with a bipod and people use it as run-and-gun (like the Bulldog). Maybe BF has different mechanics than IRL that favor the run-and-gun playstyle, because it's a video game after all, but I find this game fun when trying to simulate a real Support player.
I started my mastery dog tag on this gun yesterday and so far with 340 kills, this gun is a f"ing human chainsaw!!!! This gun drops people quick! I run suppresser, ergo, kobra, and 2X mag and it works on all, long range, med, and close quarters for me. This gun will make 51 Master Dog Tags for me when finished :).

I run this beast all the time with nothing more than a verticle grip and an EOTech. I burst fire at range and lay on the happy switch for full auto from time to time. I find it to be very acurate either way. I've never understood why so many people seem to struggle with this rig.
Guys, if you put a FLIR sight (and maybe an IRNV, I'm not sure yet) on the M60, the front iron sights disappear. The way I like to run the M60 is FLIR, suppressor, and angled grip in combonation with smoke grenades. I know it sounds stupid but it actually works. I've had flawless games getting 20+ kills and it's a good way to help your team move up. I'm going to suggest this on the next loadout video and I hope you guys will thumb it up!
Although I agree with LevelCap's reasoning for not using the bi-pod being mobility, the bi-pod, at least the way I use it, is more of a flanking tool. The key is to not get too greedy and just stay in that comfortable laserpoint accuracy state wherever you decided to set up. Move into a position facing where targets are/or will be coming from (preferably from a location they are not facing themselves), set up, take out a few of them before they have time to even react (remember, most of your shots will hit and with the fire rate of an LMG that's a lot of damage down range). Then you relocate and do the same thing again.
Hmm.. I guess I play on the realistic side.. M60,bipod,flash hider, 4x optic.. Ammo pack and some c4. Defense perk. Idk I dig it. Dig in and rack 10 kills everytime I drop the legs on the bipod. I like it, you guys dont have too.
A very useful tip for getting rid of the iron sight is to equip a INRV or FLIR sight. Then you won't see the front iron sight when you aim! Also, it's kinda funny how they changed it like this when, in BF3, the front sight was detached when you equipped any other sight. It was much better that way.
M60 is one of the few LMG's in the game that doesn't benefit that much from a bipod, since it's so manageable from the get-go, but you shouldn't be so quick to underestimate it's effectiveness. A crackshot sniper would've taken you out every time you were standing still and popping off shots standing all the same, where as with a bipod, even weapons like the MG4 can lay so many rounds on target from range in a blink of an eye, that marksmen would need to nail their shot the instant they aim down sights (be it a DMR, sniper or another tapfiring M60 for instance).
I'm falling in love with the PKP with 1x normal sights Silencer and Muzzle. Doesn't have the annoying iron-sight issue. Sure you still hear it but its not on the map and it does tremendous damage. Can really take on a squad with a single mag. Its kickass especially in close quarters. Try it out! Though this M60 is badass too. I use both on consoles and still get to the top of the boards easily
I run the M60 with a bipod. The key to using it effectively with a bipod is finding a good choke point Most LMGs will excel at this, but the M60's accuracy allows you to positions yourself further away from the choke point, and that way any friendlies that are with you will take fire before you, and you'll be less likely to die.
M60 w/ bipod is the ultimate support gun. Yeah you can argue bipods slow you down and make you sniper food, but its the easiest way to get distance M60 kills. Just make sure you only use bipods on certain maps and know safe places to set up so that no one can sneak up on you
PKP irons are really nice. Tap firing doesn't have to be 1 shot. 2-3 round bursts are ideal. You only need an angled grip on weapons with a first shot multiplier of more than 1 and up. If your recoil is the same on every shot it becomes easier to tap fire accurately. The muzzle break would probably be OK, since you won't be using an angled grip take a stubby instead.

It's not on the list, but I'd really like to see you master the Phantom Crossbow. I think the difficulty of this weapon up close is definitely worth testing out your skills, as well as the mid to long range accuracy and effectiveness.
The bipod is an excellent attachment, you just have to asess the situation before using it.Obviously if you see a scope glint,or have a tank looking at you or being shot at by multiple enemies you shouldn't bother with it.And you also don't have to be sitting in it all day,I usually fire for about 5 secs after deploying it then disembark.

My favorite weapon in Battlefield 4 is the SAR-21, I have the stability maxed out so there's barely any recoil. I used to use the Type 88 LMG for support, until I unlocked the QBS-95-1, which is just all round better apart from the mag size. (make sure to slap a sight on it though, the iron sight is awful). I don't really like using carbines/snipers/PDW, but the SKS is a pretty good DMR, has a faster fire rate than most and good stability.

its a great area denial gun, bipod on it with your own set up and flash bangs, and then youll screm people, i do it on locker, and ill se up by the metal detectors, in the hospital looking area, and i spray then in 2 second bursts, i went 58-2 dooing it, its a great way
I mastered all LMGs myself and I found the M60s Iron Sights horribly annoying most of the time. I played it ranged with med optics and with RDS and even with Iron Sights... I could not find a comfortable setup for it.... thankfully I am done with mastering LMGs so I can play some other fun guns which suit me more! :)
I agree with you about the Bipod but I still think, just like everyone else, that you should try it. I usually don't pick the pibop but when I actually use it, I usually get alot of fun out of it.
LevelCapGaming Why not use a combination of one of the 1x optics like the Halo or HD and slap on a magnifier? I understand that the magnifier adds clutter to the optic view but then you can be effective at close and medium range.
do you think the game need a better way with ammo box and health box like the small ones like: while throwing the small ammo/health would be more realistic to use the weapon on the other hand? i kind of think so and there is only one bad thing: while throwing you can only hip fire
I like the M240B the best. I have well over 7500 kills with it. Its good at range and also close quarters. Slap on the Red Dot Sight and a fore grip and you are good to go.
Master the QBU-88 next please. I love this DMR. Good rate of fire, perfectly accurate and no recoil. Its my standard weapon on long ranges. Have a nice Day

LSAT LMG with Holographic sight, angled foregrip, and a Heavy barrel/suppressor
I run the M60 with a bipod. The key to using it effectively with a bipod is finding a good choke point Most LMGs will excel at this, but the M60's accuracy allows you to positions yourself further away from the choke point, and that way any friendlies that are with you will take fire before you, and you'll be less likely to die.
Congrats on 1 million!!! I've been watching since the beta of bf3:)
M60 w/ bipod is the ultimate support gun. Yeah you can argue bipods slow you down and make you sniper food, but its the easiest way to get distance M60 kills. Just make sure you only use bipods on certain maps and know safe places to set up so that no one can sneak up on you
A-91 great rate of fire recoil is easily controllable. Plus it looks way too cool.
The muzzle break would probably be OK, since you won't be using an angled grip take a stubby instead.
my god!!! the iron stick that blocking the RDS is really grinding my grears

Master the CZ-3A1 next pls!! An awesome gun and in my opinion one of the better PDWs out there. Love your videos BTW!!
Use this gun for 500 kills and then go back to the 240B. Whole new appreciation for how devastating the 240B is.
It would have been a nice touch to see the leaf sights (on this and the M320) adjust along with zeroing.
Great video :-)
Lots of tips and awesome gameplay of course!
US Squad Automatic Weapon
M249 M145 3.4 scope

This is a SAW class suppress and kill enemy's by laying down your bipod in cover and use your 3.4x scope to take out people at medium to long range use bursts and automatic when suppressing
I personally dont put grips on my lmgs but I might try it later, thanks level
Insurgency has incredibly awesome scopes and red dots.
I want to see you doing the Spas-12 :D
Love your vids man, keep it up :)
The hotline miami loadout
QBS-09 shotgun
Use the iron sights
Laser sight
Buckshot
SW40 revolver
Iron sights
Laser
Any knife of your choice (make it brutal)
The objective of this loadout is to conserve your ammo, as it will be similar to the no reload challenge.
1. Do not reload any of your weapons
2. You may switch to your sidearm, but you may not switch back to your primary after doing so
3. No gadgets
4. You may pick up other kits, but 1, 2, and 3 still apply
5. Try to play on the city styled maps, preferably ones with indoor areas
Have a great day, and I hope you enjoy this loadout!
Hey lvlcap I love your videos still entertaining even since you first video keep up the great work... Congrats on the 1m Subs
Heavy hitter
M60E4:
Iron sites
Standard barrel
Stubby grip
Deagle:
Mini RDS
Laser site
Standard barrel
C4 Explosive
Ammo box
M27 Frag
Any knife
Defensive perk
There's not much to say about this loadout but it hits hard. The M60E4 is one of my favorite weapons and the iron sites to go with it.
Shoot shit up.
the elcan (M145 3.4x) actually manages to clear the front sight, the only optic to do so :P
When I use the m60 I only use a hip fire setup. For whatever reason I can't kill anything while aiming, and often get 3, 4, or 5 man sprays with hip fire
Laser, ergo, and no sights
7:33 - 7:41 That tunel vision, there is a guy, right in front of you, taking shots at your team, free kill. I think you were in one of your videos talking about not loosing track about your suroundings. :D
"That one guy who runs C4 and a UCAV". He's calling you out XFactor
I am a Team Player in BF4. I always run Support with the Ammo Crate & Assault with the Defribrulators & Med Bag.
Mastery the CZ-805 my favorite gun in the game. That gun is not to bad i love to use it
i love this gun so much its hard to use other guns and classes now.
I don't understand why people don't use this. This is one of the only LMGs I've mastered because I love it so much I don't want to change.
Congratz on 1 mil
I prefer the PKP Pecheneg. It is the perfect combination of a DMR while bursting and a good CQB Weapon because it still hits like a truck with 700 RPM..
I just use the iron sights, with the bipod and a heavy barrel for that cosmetic look. Still beast.
Now I know why this gun is seen being used on the severs I play on so much. :P Crazy!
M98B awesome bolt action at short ranges throw a medium range scope on with flash hider it turns into a monster
Animation is seen always happily.
Especially, the review of arms of BF4 serves as a reference.
Please the animation contribution and hold out.
LevelCap. For your next airsoft video if you do another airsoft video can you do some Umarex MP7 GBB gameplay? I've been really curious on this gun and was wanting your opinion.
JS2 would be cool to see you master! I've played with it and it's an interesting gun.
What is the name of the sight he was using at 1:44?
its a great area denial gun, bipod on it with your own set up and flash bangs, and then youll screm people, i do it on locker, and ill se up by the metal detectors, in the hospital looking area, and i spray then in 2 second bursts, i went 58-2 dooing it, its a great way
I mastered all LMGs myself and I found the M60s Iron Sights horribly annoying most of the time. I played it ranged with med optics and with RDS and even with Iron Sights... I could not find a comfortable setup for it.... thankfully I am done with mastering LMGs so I can play some other fun guns which suit me more! :)
The JNG-90 would be a nice weapon to master
LVC, you hit 1 million!!!
Do the RPK-12 next will ya? I really like that gun, maybe go with the bipod also.
PKP pecheneg. Congrats on 1m subs
I agree with you about the Bipod but I still think, just like everyone else, that you should try it. I usually don't pick the pibop but when I actually use it, I usually get alot of fun out of it.
make sure to add the Master King PKP to your list of guns to Master LevelCap! =)
PP-2000. my favorite PDW in BF3 and BF4
Have a nice Day
5:57 That transition though
RPK 12, it's the assault rifle of the LMGs
Have u noticed that this guy's always there at the right timing for getting kills
Hey levelcap, how come you always use that raspberry gun emblem? I would of thought you would have replicated your levelcap logo into an emblem to use on your guns
So the best loadout for the m60 is angle grip, medium range scope and bardel of choice?
I love the iron sights.
Does invr/flir sight remove the front iron sights?
***** yes those remove the front iron sight. Personally I like how the front iron sight is always present, it makes the gun look elegant :3 same for the M16A4
