We LOVE la trajineras xochimilco. Our first time was a total blast. We can't wait to go again. It's such a FUN time! Happy (belated) birthday, Kevin. Cheers to another year!
Good information. I did as part of a package that included coyoacan and something else. I don't remember what I paid for it but probably too much. Happy birhtday Kevin!
Happy Birthday Kevin ❤🎉 Great information and another great video guys. Cheers from 2 Canadians now living in El Centro Xalapa 😂 we just moved from Coatepec. ❤ ✌🏼
This was actually in November back when we both still had jobs and weren’t so worried about money. But this was a super affordable experience considering it was shared costs with friends.
@@EatBailaTravelawesome thanks for the quick reply and my girl and I are going with a couple friends for the first time and I’m trying to plan everything, .. sorry but if I can ask another question. What’s the best way to get here as a tourist from Cali?
Catching up to comments with my coffee this morning ☕️😊 Fly into Mexico City, as I’m sure you already know. Then you can request an Uber or Didi to Embarcadero Nativitas.
I love that you asked 🙂 both words, elote & axolote, are originally Nahuatl words (elotl & axolotl), one of Mexico’s indigenous languages. That’s why they sound similar
We are American content creators much like you guys but we spend most of our vacation time in Guadalajara. We just booked our first trip to CDMX for Dia de Muertos in a couple weeks and we are so excited! Subbed and watching ALL your videos. We’re in CDMX for a week (10/28 - 11/4 )and then we’re heading back to GDL. Got any must see experiences for us?
Hi! Thank you for watching our content we will check yours out too. CDMX has so much but off the top of our head don’t miss the Zocalo, Chapultepec, museo de Anthropologia, Coyoacán, and eat lots of tacos!
Those Mi Cheladas looked spectacular! Hell Kevin was calling canoes can nose and humping a boat! They must be that good. Amazing vlog as always Kevin and Jenny!! Thank you!🤣🤣
Yes of course! Just let your trajinera captain know that you want mariachi to play for you and he will help bring them over to you when you inevitably pass them in the water
Thanks for the tips! Is that how they pronounce Axolotl there? Like Ajo-lo-te. I’ve been pronouncing it as A-sho-lotL. With the SH sound for X and the typical TL pronunciation in Nahuatl?
🤭you’re probably right! We’ve heard it pronounced ajo-lo-te more often so that’s what we’ve been saying but just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s “correct”. It’s a Spanish pronunciation of the Nahuatl word.
Happy birthday Kevin pleased you had a great day. Yes I remember that one with the Country Collectors & in the end the police came & sided with them fortunately, as it could of been a lot worse. They tried scamming them charging for drinks etc they didn't have on the boat if I remember correctly. One of the vendor/boat guys also attacked their friend forcibly pushing him. On the way their cab driver stopped where she had friends & they said it was closed & pointed them to a different location too.
Yikes! Yes, that’s right, I do remember seeing the video where they talked about that. It’s unfortunate that there are people who try to scam like that 😕
Feliz Cumpleaños Kevin 🎉 This looked hella fun! Also, y'all should do a video on the new road built from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido. If a beach getaway is needed lol. Glad y'all are posting again 😄
boo.. that's unfortunate. And it doesn't help that chilangos have that infamous reputation for being scammers lol not saying it's true! Just saying it doesn't help.. 🤭 and maybe there was and we just didn't see it! There are so many lol
Saludos 👋🏼
Work on your financial independence, invest your earnings, and diversify. It is not an easy process, but it will give you the freedom to make your own choices and retire early.
Thanks!
Ah thanks so much!! Salud! 🍻

Are you able to use your own drinks and speaker if you bring one? I’m going next month

Hi, What is the best time to visit? morning or maybe afternoon?
the mornings are a little quieter, I'd say early afternoon to evening are the best times
Thank you @@EatBailaTravel

Thank you! 😆
Do you recommend an Uber or take our car rental?
You can do either! I wouldn’t say I recommend one or the other unless you plan to drink 🍺
Feliz cumpleaños, Kevin. 😊 Vaya, Xochimilco está mucho más poblado que cuando yo era niño en los años cincuenta.
Gracias! 😁 y si, muchísima gente
It looks like you guys had a great time, hope you enjoyed your birthday, Kevin! Belated happy birthday!
