Thanks for the review. The cardboard cutting bit is really useful, especially the double layer cutting, much better than the typical paper cuts you see in reviews. Very instructive.

nice review, like this one quite a lot! about the detent: i'm pretty sure it is steel and not ceramic, all zt's i've owned so far had steel detent balls. cheers and thanks for showing the knife!👍
I don't think ZT has used ceramic bearing/ detents on their knives yet. Can't wait for the hype vs reality of the ZT0562, been thinking of picking one up!
Just got this one and then returned it. Lol. Great looking blade, but if you like to open and shut repeatedly, this one is kinda difficult to disengage, and kinda becomes annoying quick.

I’m also wore out on finger choils. I bought this knife and was very impressed. I carried it to work and a co-worker who loves ZT fell in love and asked if I’d sell it to him. I’d and the other day I said to him I miss the knife....he doesn’t want to sell it back though. Oh well it’s one that I can always pick up used for a good deal again some day.

Yeah I really hated sending it back cause it looked so great. I flip my knives a lot and right away noticed it.

I have NEVER been able to misfire a Kershaw speedsafe flipper. For detent, they are the best.

Do you have any lock-fails with the 0609? I've heard ZT's are plagued with this. I've got a Kershaw Bareknuckle which fails when tapped on the spine.
