Amazing! Your attention to details is spot on. Love it!
Wow ! I never get tired of watching the master at work. Your sketching style is so impressive and the way you use the colors to make your art come alive is exceptional. Thank you once again for sharing ! Since I enrolled in your Domestika course , sketching has change my world and I can’t thank you enough for it ! Can’t wait to put my hand on your new book on motorcycles ! Cheers !
Thank you so much Martin!! That really makes me very happy! It's great that I can inspire you to enjoy sketching so much again!
Hello Albert, this is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing. I am 75 years old and have been a photographer for most of my life but you have inspired me so much I
want to put the camera down and begin to learn urban sketching. I have enrolled in your Domestika course and encourage others to do so as well. Again, thank you
for sharing and I hope you will do more of these in the future.
I will definitely do that Lowell!! And I will get back to you on your mailed questions too!
Thank you so much for putting out videos on YT! I have been admiring your art on Instagram but watching you at work is a whole new experience. I love your style, so relaxed and yet impressive. Thank you again and hope to see more videos.
Thank you! And I’ll definitely do more of these!! I have just started! 😊
Love this Albert. You are sooo generous to share this with those of us who love your work. I learn so much just watching,
Thanks!!🙏🏻🙏🏻 I am glad this is helpful!!🍀
I love this. I took your course on Domestika and found it so inspirational. I have always been a portrait artist, so the course definitely got me out of my comfort zone. Thrilled to find you on RUclips, also.
Thanks!!🍀 And welcome!✨
Very very helpful . Thank you ! ❤
You're welcome!👍🏻🍀
I love the way the colors came together, building each dimension!
Thanks!!✨🍀🙏🏻
I learn a lot from the way you apply color to the light and shadow areas. Thank you Sir.
You're welcome!
Simplemente... Genial😃👌🖌🎨 saludos Maestro!
Muchas Gracias!!✨🙏🏻
Thank you for the free video. I have taken your course and really enjoyed it. You’re an excellent teacher. I’m still a little intimidated by starting the sketch with pen vs. pencil. I prefer coloring with watercolors instead of markers.
You're welcome! Always do things at your own pace. Forcing methods does not work. Be sure to enjoy what you are doing!
Hola Albert, me ha parecido una maravilla. Gracias por compartir tu forma de trabajar.
You're most welcome!!
Very intresting to learn your beautiful style and catartic...I wait for the next video! Thank you!
Coming soon!🙏🏻
I’m taking the course on domestika and I’ve realized I’ve used a similar sketching technique to draw bushes and trees. Now learning to use that technique for my architecture sketches. Very satisfying. Your lessons and information you share is excellent.
Thank you 🙏🏻🍀✨ That’s great to hear!
So fascinating watching your colour selections ! Thank you love your work!
Thank you 🙏🏻🍀✨
Fascinating. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome!
Thanks you so much for sharing your art
Sketching methods, colour... all are very interesting
Thanks from France
Arnaud
Thank you Arnoud! 🙏🏻🍀✨Glad you enjoyed it!
I really enjoy your work and thanks for your free videos, I have taken and i am using watercolor and marker both some time . Thanks🙏
Cool! Watercolor is fantastic too. Only takes longer to dry😊
So wonderful! ❤
Thank you! 🙏🏻🍀✨🌺
So inspiring !!
Thank you 🙏🏻🍀✨
I like your art !!
Thank you 🙏🏻🍀✨
Thank you for the real time video! I will practice the lineart sketching a bit more, then will ask for your feedback on Domestika (I want to focus on lineart for now) 😊
Great! Catch you there!🍀
Congratulations, I saw from Brazil and I be attention of the number of the markers that you used because I use in my draws delicate shadows like in yours. I will buy a medium gray and it will be the my first Copic... something like E40 or YG91 or N2. I have a Tombow N7 and others olders markers too. Tks, N
Great!🍀 It's always good to have some greys... Depending in the base color of the subject🍀
Always helpful and inspiring to watch the process, thank you for this. Just a question - what is the white pen you use for the window frames etc. ...or if anyone else knows where I can get them. Thanks
The white pen is a UNI posca white acrylic pen🍀
@@housesketcherthank you so much. 👍
Great video to see the process - I wish all your markers had the colour numbers at the ends. Trying to guess at some. had to freeze the vid to see them.
There are many :-) But in this case the main ones are Copic: E51, E11, E13, E21, E70, E71, E74, C7/8 and Winsor & Newton: Coral
@@housesketcher thank you Albert!!
After enrolling in your DOMESTIKA course, I’ve gone down the housesketcher rabbit hole of your RUclips, Instagram and Au Japan book! I’ve done architectural pen and ink drawings for years and have now been opened up to a looser style and adding color. It’s a bit scary but exciting at the same time. Thank you! Is it possible for you to somehow indicate the color of the marker you are using in the corner of the screen as you are using it? It would be a tremendous teaching aid.
@@dominicr5516 that's really fantastic!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@dominicr5516 adding all the color numbers would be a lot of extra editing work. At the moment I don't have the time to do tgat. Maybe in the future a narrated audio track!
I really struggle to get my Posca white to pop like yours does, mine appears as a washed out grey, not sure what I'm doing wrong, any tips?! Great sketch, love watching it develop. :D
You need to shake vigorously!! Great out on on scrap paper...
Hi Albert! Just wondering what is the name of the copic markers you used at 22:00? Is it a colorless blender? Thank you!
It looks like either a Copic E70 or E71🍀
I bought myself a sketch book and three pens on the strength of your videos! What size pen did you use for this sketch?
Only two: Faber-Castel 0.1 and 0.3 PITT Artist Fineliners...
Hi, I am taking your Domestika course and loving it. I just want to ask can I get the same effect, and use the same techniques, with watercolour markers?
Hi! You will most likely not get the same effects but similar... A big difference will be the time it takes for the colors to dry... Advantage will be longer blending options. The draw back will be it takes long to dry and move on. Alcohol markers dry more or less instantly. Hope that helps.
@housesketcher yes that is exactly what I needed to know. Thank you so much. I've loved your course!
@@gccbreezy thanks!🙏🏻🙏🏻
I appreciate your video, but for me I need to see the original source of inspiration so I can get a feel for how to alter and embellish. Thank you.
I have added a link to the original post for you to see the ref pic🍀
Stupid question, is that copic sketch marker?
Can be Copic Sketch or Classic. I use both🍀
much safer music 👍
Thanks for pointing out... I forgot to mute the audio during the video export. I cannot work without music!🍀
I love it but I hate this music
I wish I could use others but found nothing 'neutral' long enough. Tips?
@@housesketcher Well, I like music on Domestica courses, I know it's difficult to get some music as RUclips is blocking due to the rights, but some good classic music maybe? or club music?
@@tomaszjawskistudio I have found it quite hard to find music longer than a couple of minutes. And then things start getting really expensive in terms of a subscription or even single music files... I'll keep looking and fine tuning!
