And finally also... for those of you who don't know. I have a great sketching course out on Domestika!

You’re the Master of Urban Sketching! Thank you so much for your instructions.
A wonderful sketch. Thanks for sharing the process with us. Cheers Gazza :)
You're welcome!🍀✨
I can not express how much I liked this video. Great explanation and inspiration for future sketches. Thank you so much for encouraging me to draw. Abrazo desde Argentina!
That's absolutely great to hear! Thank you! 🙏🏻🍀✨
A creative idea and a beautiful sketch, thanks a lot Albert fir sharing your brilliant work. The marker colors can be easily mistaken for watercolors which I really like!
Thanks! they're both transparency based so they share some nice characteristics. I loved to work this way🍀
I'm enjoying your course on Domestika, where I found the link to this video. Thank you for taking the time to post this and walk through your design - this is very helpful. I love the "crooked" and "writing" styles you talk about - following your advice has helped me quite a bit in my own drawings.
That's so great too hear! Glad these help!🍀
Very good, Albert, thank you. Gives me lots of ideas to think about. Cheers, SB.
That's great Stephen!! Let me know how things go!👍🏻
Really liked this walk-through. I specially like that you think of stories and bring them out in your sketches and in the viewer's mind by adding details to the original photograph (the litle boy, the balloon, ...) Terrific and inspiring video for me. Thanks!
Another great video ! Thank you Albert, there is always something new to learn !
Great to hear Martin!!✨🙏🏻🍀
You are a great instructor! I received my first commission request last week.
That's fantastic!! I think there start off many too come! Great!👍🏻🍀✨
I love this. Thank you for sharing this process.
You're very welcome🍀
Thank your for sharing these techniques. I've used a little of the 'real picture' to 'drawing' like you did to create this but am encouraged to experiment more after seeing this. Your explanation about drawing the ladder, et. al. pretty much distills much of what I love about your work (oh, it's all fantastic - who am I kidding). I would like to capture more of (the spirit) of your linework and composition in my drawings. Many thanks for the insights into your color choices. Your videos are really a masterclasses to me. Thank you!
You're most welcome! I'm glad these are helpful!!🍀
Very helpful info, Thank you so much for sharing this.

Hi Albert, do you use off-white paper, or does it appear off-white in the videos? I've noticed that in your coloring sets that I purchased also.
Hi Mitch!
Yes! I use Moleskine Sketchbook paper and that is off white. I like the warmer base tint🍀
❣️❣️❣️🙏
👍🏻🍀
Great job, Albert! The greenery and the contrast with other objects are beautifully and simply conveyed. By the way, what markers and colors were used for light, medium and dark green?
Hi Andriy!
The base color is Winsor & Newton: Pear Green.
The darker shades are:
Winsor & Newton: Pesto.
Copic BG99 and Copic CG8.

@@housesketcher Thank you!. From the palettes on the screen it is not always easy to choose colors that would fit well in the picture.
