      soviel englisch für einen Humanisten wie dich, Grex. Von dir hatte ich natürlich ein weises lateinisches Zitat erwartet ;-)
      jeder sollte an seinem Traum arbeiten, dann wäre unsere Welt wahrscheinlich eine bessere! Ich kann mich wirklich nicht beklagen, die Arbeit mit Vox Luminis und auch viele andere Produktionen in Ensembles und auch als Solist erfüllen mich mit viel Freude und lassen mich das Leben zumindest bis zur nächsten Monatsmiete immer geniessen. Und letztere konnte schliesslich auch immer noch bezahlt werden! Wir kommen nächsten Juni übrigens nach Regensburg, tagealtermusik-regensburg.de,
      wäre schön, dich mal wieder zu sehen und ein bisschen der alten Zeiten in der Cafete der Uni zu frönen!

    yes, it will evenually be on a disk. I made this video during a CD - recording. we recorded about 60 mins of music and finally made the decision to "upgrade" and record another 40 mins next year and make a double-CD, which will be released sometime either in the end of 2014 or the beginning of 2015. but I made more videos during the recording. maybe I'll make another video "public" sometime as a little teaser and to help "bridging the gap" between our recordings for our "fans"!

    I notice from your RUclips videos that Vox Luminis is a flexible group, with the octet for Purcell's Funeral Sentences a good balance. How many singers do you have in all?

      That depends of each project. We work with more or less the same people depending of the necessities in the music and the size of a concert location. if you visit our website, you'll see a list of regular members of the ensemble, but there has been more people that have sung and played with Vox Luminis already.

      I'm not sure, if JM Bach would have been so happy with this description - maybe - who knows... but yes, it's interesting that he seems to be keeping the two choirs in two different worlds for such a long part of the piece. the technique though is not new and can be found several times in the double CD, where you also find the final result of this recording session.
