I was lucky enough to find one CQB 1911 custom, two tone in 9mm, beautiful gun for about $3000 after all the expenses, FFL transfer and tax. Love it!
It will last a lifetime. I’m old, so I’ll just keep on with what I have, but man, what a gun!

Congratulations, I made the move to high end 1911's yrs back. I now own 3 Wilson's and 2 Ed Browns. Got a WC Hackathorn commander on order too. Your CQB elite is a beautiful Wilson. I have one in .38 super.

I caught the scamdimic comment and agree 100%. Where did common sense go? The death rate isn't high enough to warrant pandemic statistics. I did lose a friend to it, but his immune system was compromised. I tell people a pandemic was the Spanish flu. My grandfather lost 4 siblings in a week from it. I feel for the lost but to shut down the country and panic people is totally uncalled for. If I had the funds I wouldn't for long with the beautiful 1911s out there. Love your channel...thanks

@@BATJACJW You know, I still prefer my own to anyone else’s. I have 55 M1911-A1’s and the ones I like best are my own builds. My Caspian slide and frame oversized builds take all winter to complete. I do at least one every winter. The Les Baer May look better, but I can feed empty shell casings through almost every one I build and my lock time and sculpting is better unless I decide to build my “Match Service” line. Right now I have 4 completed top ends I need to match up to some lower receivers. One for sure is going to be another Bullseye, and another for sure is going to be a IPSC style.
