Nice that we live in this days and age in which it is possible to unite two legends that otherwise could never have sung anything together. What a mashup.
I love it, of course Floor was added, it's a recording from Floor's younger day's with After Forever. If she recorded it now and it was mixed properly for an official release then I'm sure it would sound fabulous. Someone has put this together for fun, take it for what it is.
Floor's voice was great then, and would be magnificent now. She was just a baby when Queen played a sold-out outdoor show at Milton Keynes Bowl here in England. I like to think that a tiny sliver of Freddie broke off, floated across The North Sea - and landed in her little open mouth. 🤘💜👑
I believe that Floor was once asked, if you had a choice who would you like to sing a duet with, and the answer was Freddy Mercury, Floor is the famale version of Freddy Mercury, she has nothing to prove, she is at the top of her game there will never be anyone to come close , all through hard work and dedication to her craft.
Its a recording when Floor was verry yong. Its a song recorded in her after forever time. This is not a clip thats made and mixed by her but by a fan who made this. The original cover from after forever is verry good
I suggest you to listen to the original version with Floor in After Forever. This was a mash-up, and her voice was manipulated to fit the Freddie's version. BTW she didn't do this video. It was a fan-made video. Some people consider Floor as a female Freddie Mercury. Both of them great singers.
Floor at 20 years old and Freddie at 40 in his prime. I would love to hear Floor do this song today in her prime and with state of the art recording equipment. Unfortunately Floor's recording with After Forever was done on a much smaller budget and the sound quality is not as good as the Queen version. Floor was still in the early stages of learning how to sing at 20.
Hey, guys! There are two other covers of this great song out there, that are so good : - Morgan James with Postmodern Jukebox - The Tenors with Lindsey Stirling Maybe check them out, at your leisure. Great job! 🤘😄
Floor did actually version of this song but this version has the background audio (poorly) removed and combined with the original Queen version. Try this for higher quality Floor version: ruclips.net/video/yPLtgu2pPic/видео.html
1. Emotional connection is a powerful thing. If you "grow" up listening to songs with a particular singer and they resonate with you, it doesn't matter how good the person who covers the song is, you will always have that emotional connection with the original singer. We all love Freddie, he had an amazing voice and most of us grew up listening to Queen. It doesn't matter how good someone covers a song, even the one they got Bowie and Annie Lenox to do, it doesn't add up to Freddie. If those two doing a Queen tribute song doesn't add up, who exactly will? It is the same with the whole Tarja/Floor debate. Some of us grew up listening to Tarja and Nightwish. We have an emotional attachment to those songs originally sung by her. It is hard to get past that no matter how good Floor is. It is a thing. Luckily, Floor doesn't try to imitate Tarja and she never would. She makes the songs her own with her own style so we now have double the versions of a song to enjoy. We should all appreciate that. 2. You can clearly see the video is from a fan site, it was a fan who did this mix. If Floor had done it herself it would be either on one of her official band sites or her own site. This was done as an After Forever cover and I believe the original vocalist who performed this with her was Damien Wilson who has collaborated with Floor many times, mostly on Arjen's bands. (Ayreon/Star One.) Someone just removed Damien's vocals and mixed in Freddies' instead. As others have mentioned this was done early in Floor's career when she was with After Forever, her first band she joined when she was 16.
This was mixed by someone else. I listened to the After Forever version and you can hear the difference in Floor’s voice. Queen is one of my favorite bands, but this mix doesn’t do justice to Floor’s voice. I highly suggest that you guys listen to the After Forever cover. Not to compare, but to really listen how Floor interpreted that song. Greetings from Alabama 😎.
I don't think this is representative of either Queen or Floor, this is old tinkering from an early period of Floor. This would be a completely different story with the right producer these days. But I don't think Floor would do this any time soon either. Prefer a cover in her well-known style. Detracts a bit from Floor's qualities.
The sound quality in this falls way short of the After forever recording, this is OK but its a fan mash up so not the best. But if only they did play together ....that would be great :D
Floor is amazing, but she’s singing with Freddie. You’re comparing her with the greatest rock singer of all time. Freddie is the greatest for a reason.
Floor and Freddie, what a gift. And the last picture AWESOME.
Great job guys.
Beautiful for what it is.
Two of my favourite singers
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice that we live in this days and age in which it is possible to unite two legends that otherwise could never have sung anything together. What a mashup.
So great!
I would love to hear this recorded now with Floor being so much more mature as a vocalist than back when this was recorded.
it is a fan made mix. Her version is a duet with one of her bandmembers of After Forever

We must ask her nicely again (it has been suggested earlier as one of her covers)
Very fresh stuff: Floor Jansen - Dangerous Game ft. Henk Poort (Jekyll & Hyde musical cover) 💜
FREDDIE MERCURY THE LEGEND!
Floor's voice was great then, and would be magnificent now. She was just a baby when Queen played a sold-out outdoor show at Milton Keynes Bowl here in England. I like to think that a tiny sliver of Freddie broke off, floated across The North Sea - and landed in her little open mouth. 🤘💜👑

Very true!
This video is actually fanmade. The fan mixed this perfectly. The end picture is breathtaking. You can hear Floor in ReVamp singing this song.
that may have been the way Floor wanted it to be, to honor Freddie, that is the way I think she wanted it to be......
I always say it... She is the Queen...🤘🖤🖤🤘

VIVA LA FREDIE...Ladie Floor was just 10 years old when it comes out..:)
this was done by a fan, Floor has nothing to do with this... but I love it

She was only 21 when she recorded this when she was with After Forever
Oh if this had actually happened.
Please Brian, make a best of Queen with Floor.
