🚨 UPDATED - I RECCOMEND THIS - amzn.to/3xGIudv
Thank you. This exactly answered the question I had about which charger to get.
MacBook Air M2 15-inch
It is preferable to use a 35-watt charger as it charges slower but extends the battery life of your laptop.
When using a 70-watt adapter, my battery dies quickly. I hope this information helps someone.
That is not how it works
- Batteries do not degrade faster because of wattage
- Batteries degrade by cycles. The more you use it, the more cycles it goes through
…and batteries also become weaker when exposed to heat. More wattage = more power = more heat.
Soooo, which one is better? 35w or 70w?
Definitely buying the MacBook Air 15 M2 with the 70W Charger, Great review.
Thank you, yea just trying some different videos to see what I enjoy. Glad it helped
I went with the 70W power adapter as well because it made the most sense. I'd much rather have 70W dedicated to my MacBook than have 35W split between two devices.
Fully agree, you made the right choice
Just found ur vid nice great vid bro! Starting college and have been looking to see which charger to get thank you very much! Keep up the good work!
Legend thanks man!
got my air from amazon. was disappointed it came with the 35 watt charger. I think it takes about 3 hours from 0-100. although I've only got down to 20% and its taken 2 hrs and 20 mins to get to 100
Does a 70w fast charger damage the battery of MacBooks? I know it is better not to use fast charging with an iPhone, but I’m not sure with a Macbook.
No, it’s made for it, so it it’s fine
Can I use the cable that came with the iPhone 15 pro and the 35w charger to charge the macbook ? Or do I need another cable that supports more wattage. Not sure if the iphone one is not limited to 20w.
Thank you
Seriously glad I opted for the 70W version with my 15-in M3 MacBook Air although I had to wait for one to ship from China rather than getting one from the local Apple Store.
Mine is 13.6 inch ,, do think 70w will work perfectly ?!
One of my friends suggested to me buying 140w , but I feel sth wrong . And I couldn’t buy it .
I want someone exactly know what’s right and not ,,
You really didn't compare the two chargers... You just gave speculation as to the 35w charger taking longer to charge without testing it. What gives?
More info than the video you made
I got the 15” one and asked for 70W but in the box it was 35W, I’m going to exchange the charger, should I exchange the whole machine or just the charger? Silly question, but is the machine that I got with 35W charger able to withstand the 70W adapter?
Yep it’s fine
The 70 should have been the dual charger…
Yup
Proper professional videos. Keep it up
Really appreciate it
I think the only reason why someone should choose the 35W one is if you already have a 70W one from a prior MacBook.
I do like the 13” over the 15” but when i think macbook i think portable and for this smaller is better just my opinion i got a 70” 4k if i care to watch movies lol
Awesome!
Does the MacBook m3 pro 14 inch 18gb ram not come with that adapter? I bought one and it didn’t come with it
My macbook air 2020 charges around a max of 50w which is much higher than the rated 30w charger provided
Excellent Video! Good vibe. And yes, good option charge the iPhone to the Mac! Never connected to the MAC before :)
So I took the 35W/2 charger....to give to my wife for traveling...I already have a 'proper' 100W usb-c charger 🙂
Perfect, great choice for travel
Unfortunately if you purchase a midnight laptop the 70W charger is white?
omg apple didn’t explain basic algebra on their website 🤯
Hahah what do you mean?
Informative thanks this helped me make my decision
I went with the 70W too but it’s because that’s what will charge both of my laptops. It minimizes how many chargers I have to bring. I figured that the Air battery lasts much longer than my HP so they won’t compete for the charger. I guess it’ll be used mainly for my HP.
Perfect! THANK YOU! 70W all the way!
Exactly!
This is super helpful, thank you, Will. Subscribed.
Happy to help!!
Thanks for this review bud! needed it so bad

Anyone know if this charger is compatible with the travel adapter kit???
Yes it is, I have the 70W charger as well as the Apple world travel adapter kit. They are compatible.

To get 70w charger, it only order through Apple website?
Yep when you order your laptop, or there a good third party options
Thank you!
Thanks, good advice!
