VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Stephanie dreamt of tiny living before committing to making her dream come true. With a son still at home, she travels part-time in her short skoolie, intending to be full-time soon! With a background in design, her interior is nicely laid out with "simple beauty" and attention to detail.
Her bathroom has a cassette toilet, spacious shower, and entertaining black and white wallpaper. The functional kitchen hosts a large sink, a two-burner stovetop, and an oven that also dubs as an air fryer/toaster that she insisted on having. A unique feature is the house door that divides the living space and the cab that keeps her bus, "Sarge," feeling like home!

How important is a shower/toilet in your tiny home plans?
If I ever did one, that and a kitchen would be number 1 priority
Toilet- extremely important; shower- not so much. With a good enough tiny kitchen, I feel like the cleaning/bathing process can be somewhat streamlined. I can't imagine a good reason not to have at least a composting toilet stashed under a cabinet somewhere.
Agreed, that is a big part of the build!
I agree with you. We have placed Natures Head composting toilets under the bed with no issue. They are actually pretty small.

I watch this channel religiously and this is the best video I have seen . From opening shot of the kitchen to what was done with the space was great . Also the young lady who used her experience explaining everything was perfect . You took simplicity and made it more and it is very helpful . Very nicely designed, although, I would put a half wall between the bed and sink. I would splash everywhere. Love the large sink. Can't do without it either.

It’s clean and organised !
One think that everyone can consider is a re-circulating shower .
Also a small generator - won’t take much space but helps run all your appliances whenever and charge the batteries should you ever need to .

Absolutely gorgeous. I just can't do the doggy bag/composting toilets. I lived in an rv for a couple of years with a normal TV toilet and never had any problems

Everything you need in a beautiful set up.
Your build is absolutely stunning! It really is a home from home. It's immaculate, your attention to detail is fantastic. I love the colour contrast with the black and white. When you were stood at your counter top and sink you could have been stood in a kitchen in a house. This is by far my favourite build I have come across! I would never go back to a house if this was my van. Oh, and your security features are a great idea. Love it x

My favorite short bus build I’ve seen love everything you are an expert at design because Sarge is a real beauty best looking short bus build. Just curious why you chose a bus over a van? To me after watching so many of these videos a bus seems larger space wider definitely more character than any vans other than my favorite VW westfalia vans. But if I were to live in something on-wheels I’d definitely would want what you created just beautiful !!☮️❤️😊
Thank you so much Raven!! I chose the bus over a van simply because of the cost. It was about 20K-25K cheaper, the length is comparable to a van and it drives very similar. However, I do have much more room because it is wider than a van. I’m certainly not as stealthy as a van, but there’s always give & take in making that final decision, so I just made the decision that seemed best for me. Sure hope that helped!! 🥰
I would definitely choose a bus over a van conversion now that I've watched enough videos to compare the two. A minibus like this seems to be more spacious and have more design options than many vans. I have not seen a van this size look like a real home as this bus does.

I love how thoughtful you were in your design process from the inside to the outside. The outside I was impressed with bc you thought of function which is the safety aspect and very masculine to give the impression this is a mans bus to help not attract unwanted visitors the colors matte desert sand and black which keeps a low profile verses pretty colors and shiny design. As a graphic designer I recognize the "Stencil typeface" at least it looks like that font which is fitting for the name Sarge and continues the masculine exterior. You made such great choices inside as well not the norm which were huge in it's impact again love the thoughtfulness of the design process inspired me for my dream house on wheels.
