Really thank you for introducing the gochujang!! There is a similar dish in Korea. The dish is called Padak. Pa is a spring onion and dak is the meaning of chicken. You truly know the flavor of Korea. Thank you so much for your great effort :-) Hope you have a great day !
This looks awesome, but I'm not super big on sauces on my wings when they are deep fried etc. Anyone know if it's just as good plain without a sauce on it, or I guess on the side?
***** Awesome, can't wait to try this out this week. Going shopping specifically to get the ingredients to make this in a couple days, so, YUM is soon!
If you think about it youre getting 8 rather large chicken wings as theyre served whole...and 8-10 winges here usually costs 9-10 bucks depending on where youre going. As street food, id pay 7-8 bucks not sure what that translates to from my economy to the British economy, as its not just a straight shot "This many dollars equals this many pounds" Id think it would be close to 5-6 pounds
Is the skin still on it or did he already remove it? I'd probably leave it on but it makes sense not to cause you're giving it a new tasty crispy delish skin basically haha.
You should really meet a wonderful Korean cooking woman that has her own you tube channel called Maangchi. I have seen her video on Korean fried chicken and she does an amazing job at it. I have been following her channel for months. I just subscribed to your channel a couple of weeks ago. You do an awesome job too.
Korean Fried Chicken is good, but I doubt Londoners most could handle Buldahk. My favourite when I lived in Seoul, but too spicy for most people. I'd love to see Londoners eating Buldahk (fire chicken) it would be like the time I made a ham sandwich for my lovely niece with huge amounts of pepper and mustard.
Hey food busker i just want to say you can go to philippines in summer you can go to boracay best beach in the world you can sell your deliceus and goodlooking food
Gochujang is NOT made out of soya bean foodbusker, "dwen-jang" is. Gochujang is made of "gochu", which translates to red pepper or chilli. I love your channel though. Big fan! From a korean canadian viewer.
Oh man... Gochujang is made out of soy bean. Main ingredients of gochujang are meju, which is a base of korean soy bean paste, powdered chilli, and sticky rice flour.
Made this one myself for a whopping 10 quid for 6 wings. Gotta love living up here in the north in the middle of nowhere. Was tasty as hell though. Worth at least 7.50 over here.
wow, what is happening in U.S.? because people here are most likely be unwilling to pay 4 wings for $11 +. At least in my community, people won't even pay over $8 for this. wings are around $2-3/pound, and about 3-4 wings/pound, cost is average around 3-4 without labor or utility etc. A healthy sustainable price is around 9-ish, but for some reason price here has been only 4-8ish. Well, 11+ maybe is NY price range?
are you taking into account that the prices they name include tax and paying for the service. because most Americans tend to forget to include tax and tips when comparing prices.
I was considering that price before tax and not with tip. tip is for service not for the wings, wings can be bad but I still tip, on the other hand, the wings can be delicious but I will only tip a penny if the service is not acceptable.
MegaLouLuo Considering most servers in the US are paid under the minimal wage usually around 2-3$ per hour. It is reasonable to include the tip, Because servers are paid just like any other person in the UK so the food price has to reflect that.
MegaLouLuo Hey just glad I could help. Real happy you could understand what I wrote, my writing was terrible I should get more sleep instead of watching random food videos.
Just found your channel. Lots of great ideas that I’ll try soon. This one...as a Korean who has tasted many versions of Korean fried chicken in both the US and Seoul, I have to question your choice of batter and your decision not to double fry the chicken. Fried properly, Korean fried chicken will remain crispy even tossed with a sauce.
Thank you for letting me know about Korean fried chicken Korean chicken sauce (yangnyeom) You did not put ginger And Korean chicken fry in the oil twice yangnyeom brush gives evenly apply for food All the other cooking methods are perfect. Sesame oil, tomato paste, gochujang, sesame, garlic, honey, You are a very excellent The cook great job thank you

I think £7 is spot on. Would've loved if tried to bathe it in the sauce then double fry it.
Korean fried chicken is supposed to be double fried and he didn't do that :(
Looks delicious, but struggling to find Gochujang in Manchester, would love to make it .
Really thank you for introducing the gochujang!! There is a similar dish in Korea. The dish is called Padak. Pa is a spring onion and dak is the meaning of chicken. You truly know the flavor of Korea. Thank you so much for your great effort :-)

You,sir, uncovered one of the biggest secrets of korea!!
I've normally seen the batter fried to a darker brown. That looks too light. Still f**king delicious though.

In perth i think its worth 9 or 10 aud... ive try it by adding bit ginger and also nice
mmmmmm Looks Good
whats the difference between quid and pounds?
nothing
Can I use chicken breast?
Should have double fried the chicken to make it darker and crisper. Like the sauce.
i'm very proud of that chicken
even if eating all of your dishes on one day will probably make me die, some day I will do it and it's going to be a beautiful thing.
is gocujang a korean thing or a chinese and i think i spelled gocujang wrong too
I'd pay my life for that
Is the skin still on it or did he already remove it? I'd probably leave it on but it makes sense not to cause you're giving it a new tasty crispy delish skin basically haha.
How about toasting those sesame seeds a lil before dropping them in ...
Those look incredible, I love how well the golden colour of the wings contrasts with the bright red of the sauce. ALSO GOCHUJANG
That looks nice, I thought he would put some spices/seasoning on the chicken before starting (maybe to make it spicy) though but nvm
I think 7 pounds is a fair price for it! I would even pay a bit more maybe cause it looks delicious hahaha :)
I would pay 7 for that. It looks so good. 🍗🍖

Slightly undercooked??
£7 is a DEAL!
What, you put "honey" only? No "runny honey", eh?
Sesame is king
Yes, 7 is right. I'd pay 7. I think the first guy is not originally from there so he wouldn't know, and you were too hard on him!! lol
Hey food busker i just want to say you can go to philippines in summer you can go to boracay best beach in the world you can sell your deliceus and goodlooking food
What happens if you only use vodka and no water? :o
i'd pay a fiver
The Korean way:
Korean fried chicken recipe
Boom
If you swap the Grey Goose for Tesco Value vodka you would be raking it in ;)
Please start making vids again
On the one hand wings are very cheap, on the other the basket is very full and it is soooooooo good, so 7 quid would be fair, maybe 6.
Where is a pint of beeerrrrrr ! Always with beer
Between 8 and 10 € i would pay.
And it looks delicious
Forgot to the second fry :(

whats with this guy not using proer utensil...spoon for stirring, hand for turning over the chicken...
i love your fucking channel, love your personality; dont know why you dont have a lot of subscribers. another thing wrong with the world.
probably only $9 CAD so like 5.50 pounds. At the end of the day its chicken and a sauce.
For a busker that's very expensive Vodka.. I'd reckon a russian standard would've afforded you another bowl...
Made this one myself for a whopping 10 quid for 6 wings. Gotta love living up here in the north in the middle of nowhere.
Was tasty as hell though. Worth at least 7.50 over here.
I was kinda hoping for Kentucky Fried Chicken
is this even 100% healthier than KFC?
That's a lot of ingredients
Since I live in Switzerland I'd pay about 10-17 franks wich is about 8-12 pounds.
I.would.pay £8 for it
He has such a thick accent, my southern ears don't understand shit
+Silver Goldstein Im from the netherlands and i understand him.
Over here seven bucks for that would be a deal! #NZ
Aren't wings cheap?!
about 2.50 for 12 or 15
Martin Harte lol yeah 2.50 for 12 if they’re factory farmed and full of growth hormones, antibiotics and GM feed/pesticides 😂
6$
I wouldnt pay much more than 7 €.
