Maybe her biological parents were actually her adoptive parents and the principal and is wife is actually her adoptive parents ? Or maybe she was an illegal birth mix up ? Whatever the case god bless those parents she’s with now ! If these parents are actually her biological parents she lives with so glad she got reunited especially if they were a teen mom or something ! Even if not they deserve her !
For those of you who don’t know the foster care system, you put all clothing and personal items in a black trash bag (no luggage provided) and that travels with you from home to home. A trash bag. Very dehumanizing experience. There are also a lot of troubled kids, fighting, crying, and kids have to act tough to survive it. I really hope her story can inspire others to help fix the broken system. ❤
@@mikemondano3624 You believe young children and minors should not be given basic dignity and protection? That’s the age of most foster kids. You’re repulsive and disgusting.
That's exactly how both of our sons came. One from a foster home and one from an orphanage. Both came with a trash bag filled with their belongings. Most toys broken and most clothes didn't fit. Poor kids. My parents also took in 19 foster kids while I was growing up. That's how all of the kids came to us. Trash bags with their stuff inside.
As for someone who's adopted this moves me to tears as it was my former Babysitter and her Husband who adopted me when they saw how I was treated by my Biological Parents! There are plenty of kids who needs to be adopted!
Gosh, she even looks like her soul-mama. What a lovely family & a beautiful, intelligent, down to earth young woman. Wishing her every happiness & success, which I have no doubt she’ll achieve
I feel like most people have no idea...NO IDEA...what you go through in your job on a day to day basis. Thank you for the work you do, I know it's emotionally hard.
@@sfurulesThank you for your kind words. There is a lot to be said about people who have gone through trauma and pain, and who are not only able to work through that pain but who are then able to use their experiences to help others feel less alone. I am so grateful to colleagues like my future colleague Raven!
As a former foster care person here, I’m so happy she found a home. I never got that chance and I still struggle to this day because I don’t have any resources or family to lean back on. I’m 24 and it’s been a very difficult transition. I’m so thankful for people like these two instead of seeing her as aggressive but as troubled and hurt and lost in life. That’s what we needed the most.
I hope you find good people to make them your friends so you can have someone to lean on and eventually, build your on family to give and receive all the love you've been lacking all these years. I wish you all the best, blessings and loving people around you!
My wife and I are getting things in order in our lives with the goal of becoming foster parents. We were horrified to find out that foster parents take children in need into their homes... Only to kick them out once the cheque stops?! What the ever-loving FUCK?! WE were most worried about the kids moving on and us losing the ability to contact them or help them ever again
I was a homeless child. I bounced from group home to group home. I can very easily understand why she acted the way she did. A group home can break you down and take away your humanity. It is always chaotic. There is very little if any place or time so you can unwind and de-stress. You are not living. You are just going through the motions just so you can make it through the day. I am happy that she was rescued and brought into a loving family. Many of us were never that lucky.
I dont know why, but the 2nd to last photo with the dad melts my heart. Of course she looks proud to finally get her license, but the way he looks is gold. So completely proud and happy for her. Its smile that can only come from a dad who feels fulfilled guiding their beloved child through the stages in her life. "He may not have been your father, but he was your daddy" Fantastic story
Even though this story began 8 years ago it's a wonderful testament to people who care and go above speaking kind words but actually DO something about it and share it now. This child has been saved from who knows what trauma and will go on to be a productive member of society to spread goodness and joy her entire life as she learned the same from her adoptive parents.
He's so right about every child deserving love and a chance at life. It's awesome to see a principal who obviously is more concerned with helping kids than just punishing them. I wish Raven and her family nothing but the best.
What a beautiful gift for all three of them. They all got what they desperately needed. Them, a daughter they were unable to have and her, parents that would show her what it feels like to be loved.
Thank you for seeing the hurt in this young lady that was causing her poor behavior. Thank you also for helping save this girl's future!! Such a blessing!! God definitely put you three together. We all need to feel loved. God is LOVE. Now she will be able to help other hurting children.

I see so many school administrators downing the children with hardships..this is so awesome ❤ good job Mr principal! God blessed you two or should I say three 🙏 warm thoughts this Christmas 🎄 🎉
It’s a very commendable act for them to have adopted her. She actually looks like the adopted mother so they could definitely pass as biological mother and daughter. She’s very fortunate to have been given a chance like that and I’m sure she is grateful to have a family now.
Amazing story. Amazing people. Amazing young woman for her strength courage and resilience in life. She will go far, I'm sure of it.. and that's because of the love of 2 people in the world, who took time to care and love. Bless all of you !
Thanks so much for sharing this great video. Kids need lots of love, support and guidance. I'm really glad that Raven found that with her adopted parents. I wish all people in this world could be as kind and generous as these people!
Lives changed just because of a simple somewhat rhetorical question. He led with compassion rather than being punitive. Sometimes, that's all it takes. What an amazing story! 💛
what an awesome and beautiful story. I believe you saved this girl's life and pointed her into a different direction. Look at that genuine smile. You can see how loved she feels. God bless you for making a difference!
That's awesome. I can definitely relate. My current friends are always shocked to hear that I was once a juvenile delinquent myself. I'm glad it was just a phase or something. She seems like she grew up to be a nice young lady.
a juvenile delinquent lol Trust me, you were a normal kid. Most kids back then who didn´t do exactly what everyone else did thinks they were juvenile delinquents. all you did were stupid/silly things, you were not a delinquent, you just didn´t follow everyone else. Hopefully you still kept that with you (your own personality and own thinking). It sounds to me like you sadly adjusted to becoming like everyone else (if your friends are shocked at how you were before, that means you´re like everyone else now). That´s sad. I´m 54, apparently also a juvenile delinquent, and I never changed. I live life, i don´t live in life ;)
I knew of a couple of co-workers who had adopted, or had been adopted, and all of their lives were changed for the good. I also knew a co-worker who was counseled when he was young, and headed for the gang life. He retired as a police captain and a wonderful caring person. His councilor, years later, was our chief. This story is probably a life saver for this girl and a happy edition to her new mom and dad.
Is it crazy that if you told me she was their daughter, from first glance I would have accepted them as their biological parents without second thought? Amazing story about good in the world. Hope this family has many holidays of happiness.
Her acting out is what saved her. She was interacting with the world in the only way she knew how. Behavior problems at 11 years old don't just materialize out of nowhere. The above is a rare case where someone bothered to find out the life behind the actions, and deem the child worthy of love.
Exactly...I wrote in my dissertation that high risk youth should be viewed as an opportunity. For us to learn what options should be available for them to choose in order to thrive.
this is beautiful...heck she even looks like them! and the joy they'll all feel If/When she has children of her own...I know because my mom was adopted and her adoptive mm was THE BEST grandmother. That lady loved me so much she would fight my other grandma (not literally lol) just to get more time with me. Love heals! and they are proof

Heartwarming means “emotionally rewarding or uplifting “ and is adjective according to the Oxford language dictionary on google !
