O.K guys two quick comments, I like your"belly" support under your driveshaft but I think for good measures---what would it of hurt to run some of the super, super, super strong box tubing is I guess what they "officially" call it down from your frame and weld THAT to your belly pan support---we will call it. And how about using copper(they are spendy) header gaskets. I've never used paper gaskets in my headers since I've used copper. I don't mean to be a "know it all" but our(my wife's) and my shop has kicked out over 400 restored , both body- on and body-off '67-'72' Chevy/GMC 4x4's since 1980. Take care --nice squarebody bud !!!!!!! Jim & Jill Kiesau
Bad part is those GM frames aren't boxed front to back. Connecting the two sides helps, but it doesn't stop the flex. The weight of the camper will exacerbate it, and cracks develop. Kind of like up by the steering box mount.
Should have just weldedbit to the back of the plate or replaced the plate with it. Welder professionally for 5 years. I see you said it flexed the frame, im not gonna explain how you could have done this better but your smart enough. Wasnt thought out well however it will work. Need to get a flywheel dust cover on b4 you regret it.
Nice bear video clips!!! Wow!!!
It's gotta be cool to say that you have touched or replaced every square inch of the truck and camper. Not many people can say that!
Dad to the rescue !! Nice job !!
