Watched this video just to examine the FMC usage. I managed to plot the same course and landed successfully after skimming through your FMC usage.
Thank you Q8.. Saved me a lot of hassle. much appreciated as always
You forgot to set the takeoff wind in the second page of the takeoff ref. You also forgot to set the cutback thrust in that page. Especially since you are over residential area the noise is too much. You also never derated the thrust or even set a SEL temp?? Did you skip it on purpose or did you want to use that much power?
This is useful af. Just subscribed:)
Thanks for another great XP 12 flight! One question - I saw when you were on short final, you were putting in some pretty significant yoke movements to deal with the wind (well done, by the way). Could you share what kind of settings you're using for custom response curves in your x-plane yoke settings? Even though I altered mine, if I were to put in those kind of control inputs, my planes would respond much more abruptly, especially in pitch. Appreciate any insight you might have, and thanks again for this wonderful resource for the X-Plane community.
Mike
33:55 whenever you use anti ice you have to keep the engine igniters on continuous and you switched them off!!
I've been flying x-plane since version 3
Nice flight! As far as the replay crash, I usually get the ac up again then load it on final with all weather presets etc then do the final and then replay. Oh, you’re right about the difference in realism. X-Plane is the best. Thanks for your work and my apologies for not watching live. Ciao!
Zibo released an update from 1.12 on the previous version, my plane was falling from icing on landing! Yes, I also confirm that there are problems with Active Sky and Visual Xp, so far I use only the default weather
Great video , what are you using for the traffic on vatsim ? thanks
You forgot to set the takeoff wind in the second page of the takeoff ref.
You do not have to say anything. It is so disappointing for you when you try your best and none of us can ask anymore. Xplane is just doing it all the time for some reason. I have become so frustrated with XPlane which I thought would never happen but t has and I am using Prepar3D v4 and v5 more and more. The PMDG aircraft are just on a level of their own.
All the best, thank you so much for your persistence in an effort to get it to work.
Stay safe and well and all the best to the family.
Yours Faithfully
Kindness Regards
Steve
Thank you sir. When I heard about this integration I tried to follow along on a couple other videos that came out before yours, and it's only you with your clear and accurate descriptions that have allowed me to actually implement this awesome new feature. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Glad it helped!
@@Q8Pilotfor disembarking it does it automatically also ? Or you have to do it manually ?
Hi Q8Pilot. I noticed in your Navigraph you had a button "view Simbrief OFP". How do you get this button. I am registered at Simbrief and also Navigraph and I hav no such button. Would help a lot! Thank you for your answer!
Thanks a lot. It suddenly worked. All of a sudden this button "view Simbrief OFP" appeared. Wasn't here before. Thank you! @@JHodderz
Hello. I use RGDMOD and the menu does not appear on the tablet, and there is no REQUEST in the FMS
Nice „little“ tutorial btw for the zibo 737, I’ll try that. I‘m totally new on x plane 12 and because of your vids I bought some aerobask planes and I’ll love to fly them…! Ty very much!
I don't see this Menu for the import on the tablet. I named the file as you describe ... any idea what could by wrong? Using 4.0 RC2 of the Zibo...
Please download the latest version of Zibo which is RC6.6
@@Q8Pilot thanks, looks like there was a bad link with old rc2. Thanks
With available ToLiss, FF and Fenix Airbuses Simbrief functionality we can hardly call this classic FP downloading "Simbrief Integration". Integration is some functionality which allows plane FMC/MCDU or tablet directly access your simbrief profile and download flight plan. Manual downloading of the simbrief plan is something what we do for many years. There are some slight improvements of old process. So title of this video is misleading if I choose diplomatic language.
Video is not misleading. The integration is not automated fully, but you can automatically get the W&B as well as the flight plan via the SimBrief download. I will not be diplomatic here and will say your comment is superfluous.
I would sag wilhelmcz is right.
what is your weather engine???
How to save general configuration???
an Airbus "Zibo " would be Epic also..
PMDG has just introduced the ability to use simbrief without downloading special files. I'm waiting for zibo to have this option.
@@JHodderz Ok, but you still need to download the file to disk. PMDG already made it a few days ago that I can download everything from the cloud directly to EFB and FMC without downloading files to the disk. I'm waiting for this to happen in Zibo.
Fair enough. In the same vein, I'm waiting for PMDG to make their 737 freely available. I hope it happens soon!@@tomrach8092
i have version 4.00 for xp12, yet i dont have that airside sevices button? why?
You need to download the latest update.
Landing gear down at 10 miles is too far for a clear day like this. 4 miles much faster will get you down quicker.
Why don’t you use the VOR LOC button?
Not needed for this approach.
@@Q8Pilot how do you know when it is needed and when it is not needed? Sorry to bother you but I love your channel and you seem very knowledgeable
Very good tutorial once again Q8 but I have not used Xplane12 for some time and am a little rusty. I cannot get the ofp to activate , it comes up but will not activate?
Please make sure you download the XML format file and ensure you do not change the name.
I wish there was a way to make the EFB larger in the Zibo mod.
I hate live streams in general. I’m trying to find full flights without all the sub conversions. Any suggestions? Thx
Perhaps I will do one in the coming days.
@@Q8Pilot Yay! Thanks! I love your channel tho, I’m learning a ton! It really comes down to the intros, rather not hear it in a post-stream video, but I might be in the minority on that. Thanks again!
Zibo just gets better and better and its totally free.
i think your sim crash because of activesky i havent use activesky and never had CTD even in long hauls for replay at all
Then you shot up like a rocket ship to your TOC jeSUS
my brother in Christ relax with the unnecessary corrections on the yoke for landing
Have you ever landed in severe crosswind?
@@Q8Pilot yes I have. Is the wind displayed on your ND accurate? Because if so it’s not really a crosswind. It’s strait down the runway without any changes in wind direction or speed
@@MergedSimulations try the same landing with same weather and let's see how much you need to make correcttions.
@@Q8Pilot I have multiple videos on my channel showing that I’m capable of landing in a crosswind if you wanna check them out.
@@Q8Pilot there’s a difference between wind gusts knocking the plane around and oscillations causing over corrections
