Alfred is based on comic book portrayals of the time. He had the same black hair and bald top in the Grant Morrison run that was being published back when this set was new. Just a minor correction. Great review overall.
“Wait, does Batman live in Bruce Wayne’s Basement?” “No! Bruce Wayne lives in Batman’s attic.” This set is actually really sick, the side builds are so cool and the references at the computer are awesome. Tbh I thought the Joker bomb was Killer Croc’s head and idk why I assumed that.
I played the game so much but never got any of the sets, seeing this is just so surreal bc to me it only exists in the video game lol there was this thing at my library where they had a "legos at the library" they just had like a bunch of lego and kids could like make something for an hour, someone donated 2 bat caves, I remember finding the penguin minifigure and the batman. super epic
Honestly, I think the reason why this set is so expensive because of Forrestfire101 RUclips video back in the day I think literally every episode had the batcave set
I’m so thankful I have this set, it’s so expensive to get now. I love this set and it is probably my favorite set I will ever own. I also love the Arkham from this line, but I think the one that came after was a bit better
This is my all time favorite LEGO set ever. Such a beautiful cave. To this day i dont think theres ever been a better batcave. However the second ever Batcave i did own at one point , that was the second best for sure!
Wow! What an amazing video Brendan! I remember when you got this set. I could really see how happy you were. This set is actually so much cooler then I thought. never seen it up close like this, so many cool features and details. I just love that he has a bench-press lol. And the set is so large damn, this doesn't compare to the newest black box one at all. Now I kinda want it lol
sadly I missed out on getting the batcave sets but was able to get the batcave set from the movie the batman in hopes to build it some day too. do hope lego does a small but fun detail batcave set in the future.
I remember back before the 2010s I googled pictures of these sets, such awesome builds and (mostly) the best traditional Batman minifigures ever done by LEGO. Of this older Batman line I only managed to get a TDK Batman figure and a Harley Quinn, both cherished figures of my collection I still have today. I always wished I got either a Two-Face, a Mr. Freeze or that fantastic Alfred figure (much better than the last mainline Alfred they've done, in my opinion).
amazing video dude love this set, i was also wondering what ur opinion on the 2012 Lego batman bat cave as i had that set when i was younger and absolutely loved it
The 2012 LEGO Batcave was my childhood batcave. I played with that set probably more than any other set I've ever owned. While it's definitely not as good as 2006 it's still a really solid batcave and a really fun set. My personal favorite feature was the opening doors that you could drive the batmobile through
@@JediBob Built it today. Got a super deal. With box in ok condition, only 1 sticker applied and the set only built once for the same price as cheapest on Bricklink. It was very fun building it. Such an amazing set!😄
The suit chamber and garage door was great improvements in the 2012 version and I'd much rather get a dojo or trophy section over a batsignal net launcher. Other than that, this version is perfect

I appreciate you telling me! While I'm extremely familiar with Batman Television and Films, I am pretty unknowledgeable on the comics.
"IN THE DEEP DARK LAIR OF THE BATMAN!"
I love it😭
This man knows what he’s talking about…
Forest fire

This really was the GOAT of Batcave sets. In the deep dark lair of the Batman..
I loved this set so much when i was a kid i never had it but i always watched reviews of the set and forestfire101 i wish this set was more affordable
i wish i had that set when i was a kid.

"HUMAN SHIIIIEEELD!"
had this set as a kid. Man I wish I still had it
Dream set of mine since 2010 🔥
I’m still waiting to one day get this set, I already gratefully and proudly own most of the minifigures from the 2006 line
The last set out of the Batman I lineup that’s missing but I’ll get it someday. Seen some good deals recently

Great video! I can’t agree more. This is THE perfect batcave. One day I will own this set and make a display for it
It’s a fantastic set! I wish you luck in finding it!

I actually have almost all of these sets, especially the batcave and the 2006 Arkham asylum
I’m gonna own this set one day……one day
My dream to one day own this, sad the value has gone up so much that it’s barely affordable😢 I have the scarecrow plane set though.
Yo, the 2006 Robin is my favourite Lego Minifig ever too! 🙂
The suit chamber and garage door was great improvements in the 2012 version and I'd much rather get a dojo or trophy section over a batsignal net launcher. Other than that, this version is perfect
This set is great, it’s just so expensive to get a hold of now, even used! What are your thoughts on the recent Batcave Shadowbox set?
I love the actual batcave part of the shadow box. I wish they would’ve just made it a $150 set and not had the lame box part of the cave.
I would kill to get a rerealese of this set!
Me too man... me too.... :( very nice profile picture btw
@@JediBob Thank you, love your content btw
i dont have many sets but I do have this one. It's an all timer
Wow it’s a crazy one to own!
@@JediBob ill take it a step further, I have lights installed to different parts of the cave to highlight it as the centerpiece of the collection 😎
🤘🦇🦇🦇🦇🤘
usually batman's machine guns are non Lethal
dare i ask how much you paid for this set
I got it for a steal for $400 sealed
Too bad all listings of this set on ebay are up to 1000 dollars
🥲

Lego doesint make sets like this no more
This set is my Lego white whale
