I would love to see bc3 but I’m sure it will never happen. Ea and dice seem to think bigger is better which is not always the case. Look at 2042 for example. The decision to have 128 players was the biggest mistake and is the core reason why it failed imo. 128 players came with no destruction and poor map design and too much chaos, I think it’s time to scale back and make a 16v16 bad company 3 game that has humor and smaller scale warfare.

Multiplayer is actually one of the best multiplayer experiences ever. And i'm playing FPS games for 20+ years. A real display of power and skill. Not lot of things going on at a times, and then suddenly complete madness happens on battlefield. Its NOT non stop shooting. Also levels were amazing. Everything and every mode in BC2 was amazing. Achievements, Sounds, Gun Handling. You could hear enemy speaking to you when he kills you. I mean it was really one of the top fps games to my knowledge that ever existed and will he really hard to beat same level of fun in future. Jets were only thing that was missing in bf2 and that's the only flaw. Helicopter gameplay was awesome. I played mostly rush mode with 5v5 didn't like too many players on a battlefield. Worthy mention is also battlefield 2, where I enjoyed bombing with jets. Simply effect when bomb falls near you was insane for the time. You really had that sense of power when bombing enemy troops and vehicles.
What I liked about BC2 was the level and type of destructible environment. It was done in such a way that even though a whole town could be leveled, you could still hide in the debris. So the battle could continue without having too much to worry about cover. Also what I personally like about the game is just it's simplicity. Not 3 million options to customize your weapon, outfit and personality but just a few classes with a few options to choose from, and that's it. Straight, plain and simple. People don't want to fuzz around too much with settings, 3 million options etc. Just enter the game and starting shooting.

Just played this game a few hours ago using the Project Rome mod which is super simple to install and you can transfer your original soldier stats to the mod version too (assuming you remember your soldier name). Game is still amazing to this day. This game and BF3 were my bread and butter.
What I enjoyed from this game's multiplayer is that everything was broken. I could use anything and dominate. Snipers were good at long range and were one shot kill up close. Shotguns were easier to use up close, and were like snipers if you equipped slugs. Assault rifles were good overall and lauchers + ammo boxes was op. LMGs were like assault rifles but with bigger mags and the med kits made you able to stay alive and fighting for longer. SMGs had little to no recoil and the engineer is my favourite kit in any BF.
if you really think about it, everything was so broken that the game actually had a good balance. I remember getting proper kills with a burst or 2 of an assault rifle as opposed to now get hit markers after emptying a whole mag into a dude and then still getting killed when he has 9% health. BC2 was elite
@@frankj545 yeah, I remember having platinum stars with all the weapons, for example, the PP2K, which I find hard to use in BF4, but I could make work in BC2
BC2 was fun because the classes and vehicles were well balanced, the maps were great, the guns all felt punchy and heavy, and the infantry movement was a little slower.
The love I have for Bad Company 2 Multiplayer is something I can't even explain. I downloaded it today, hoping to play again and hoping there would be one or two servers still up. I had no idea it was shut down.
I definitely want to see BC3 happen. To this day, BC 1 and 2 are still some of my favorite FPS. It felt great to play and the characters were super likeable. DICE not getting it just means they were so disengaged with their own community. That's so upsetting to hear from them.
As a guy who got to max level in bc2 on 360 back in the day I can tell you what made bc2 so good for me. It was the balanced class system, the fantastic map design with rush mechanics a huge design consideration. The sound and lighting were amazing for the time with almost every sound being made by a player. If you heard gunshots and explosions in bc2 it was almost always a player making those sounds. Also the sniping was so satisfying both at long range and close up. Obviously shotguns were a little overpowered but it made them so fun to use. There was a reason to use every class, I found myself picking my class and weapon strategically with lmg medics being great for holding lines and getting aggressive by keeping the pressure on reviving and healing your fallen squad. The vehicles sometimes felt a little overpowered considering the launchers in game were not the best. Anti vehicle class felt great to play I had alot of fun with the launchers, anti tank mines and smgs that felt powerful up close but struggled at range which is realistic for pistol caliber ammo. Assault was a great class for beginners and veterans alike as it allowed for you to replenish ammo for you and teammates . The grenade launcher was perfectly balanced in this game with a near direct hit always killing but bad aim got you punished . Also the destruction of the environment and how it played into the feel of the maps was perfect. If a team was dominating the enemy it was a true slaughter when all cover was destroyed. But it never felt unfair because usually the game allowed you to fall back to a new area in rush and re set up defenses. Almost a perfect game in my opinion with my only complaints being a low number of maps and sometimes vehicles and shotguns felt overpowered. But I wouldn't change a thing about it, warts and all it was the best shooter I've ever played when considering the realism vs fun.
The thing that made this game so fun, was the map design. Bfbc2 had more rectangular maps even in conquest compared to the circular ones in other titles, this really promoted firefights sometimes feeling like a constant firefight from one place to the next, coupled with destructible environments made it so each time you played the level, the level was never the same.
you say the game doesnt take itself seriously but i think it takes itself seriously within its parody of the then modern military shooter what i miss most though is the absolutely killer sound design during multiplayer, guns, ambiance, the announcer for me my favourite is the radio chatter. and of course the end of match screens
I remember the day this game came out 💩 on every other best game in the world first to have real demolition features I once got a 1200 point streak 1200!! Ps3 arica harbor
This was the first battlefield game I loved. I played the first one bad company that is but this was my game that I would play when I got bored of MW2. Absolutely love this game! I even bought the Vietnam expansion pack. One of the best things about this game was the fact that you couldn't go prone I think that was one of the reasons that gun play was so good in this game.
I actually didn’t know they shutdown the servers on Xbox 360. I just tried to play it after looking at my achievements for this game and the last one I unlocked was in 2013! I only need 2 more but didn’t care for them as I loved the game for its style way back in 2010. It even got me in to Battlefield 1943 which I was hella addicted too (was top 200 on the leaderboards for a year). To also see 1943 shutdown is absolutely heartbreaking! I don’t wanna play BF2042 cos it sucks and wants the nostalgia! Damn EA
It's nothing about the lack of seriousness that made the MP good, that doesn't make sense its not like its a comedy or something. It was the gameplay where there was no bull shot gadgets, thermals, vehicles felt well balanced not too weak not too OP, map size and player count as just right, and the movement speed/pace and ttk was just perfect. In BF3 and onwards you just get spawn camped, die to people across the map with no way of getting back at them, spotted by thermals, millions of annoying af gadgets, vehicles that are either way too strong or way too weak
PC payers were stuck with BF2 for a loooong while until Bad Company 2 came out. This was a huge step in gameplay mechanics and play features (like total destruction) compared to BF2. The step was gigantic and therefore people loved it. BF3 than perfected what BC2 brought to the pc market. All other Battlefield were just successors that brought new skins and scenarios, but nothing really "new".
I really don't understand what's so hard for them to understand about what made this game the GOAT of Battlefield. No season pass, DLC that was only $15, limited guns that had balance (yes more guns is nice but less balance between them), destruction, sound, comedic relief in serious situations, story, no character customization. They focused only on pushing their new engine (Frostbite) to it's limits to see what they was capable of, and it brought two beautiful games. To really "remember" what they did right and made these games so successful, they could you know, REMASTER BOTH OF THEM like the remastered Mass Effect trilogy. Not only would it remind them of the game and how it was made and what made it great, but it would also be an apology for shutting down these servers when most of us PAID RETAIL PRICE when this game came out, then remove the playability, and not offer any refunds or anything.
The only thing that I want is that EA should revive BC2 and other older BF Games with a classics subscription. BC2 is my most beloved game and I miss it so hard on Xbox…. My Xbox is off since dec 8th… I think they could make a bunch of money if the release classics subscriptions…
It's probably a bit late for an official Bad Company 3, but I think reviving Bad Company would be a good idea. Give it a funny, meaty, mildly silly campaign, and refrain from filling the PVP with bloat. The fans would eat it up.
Honestly, I'd just shove it one some indie company to produce a spiritual successor of sorts, cuz I don't trust the Triple As to give it what its worth.
I'm playing it again on PC these days, and it's not true that it's unplayable. And I must say that I'm having a thousand times more fun on bad company 2 than on BF2042.. And the crazy thing is that there are still servers..
LOVED THIS GAME!! METRO ahh what a cluster fook and a half!! Loved the multiplayer in this, did many a teabagging sessions with this classic. M416 best weapon. Cheers for the memberberries.
best thing about the Bad Company and Bad Company two games is the main focus was on the Campaign. Thats what made games great, awesome stories and dialogue. Not just running around as fast as you can killing everyone.....that gets old real quick.
2:55 it’s not rocket science. Bring back maps full of fully destructible buildings. Stop with the stupid Hollywood type set piece maps where you level one massive building. Defib and uav kills were hilarious. Did I mention fully destructible buildings on a near fully destructible map? This series has been on the downturn ever since Bad Company 2. Battlefield 3 was fun. 4 was a bit less compared to 3. Hardline had a few cool gimmicks but just wasn’t the same. Haven’t touched the series since then as I’ve seen it’s only gotten worse. I guarantee if they did a remaster of BC2 it would outsell 2042 in one day.
Don't spout lies that bfbc2 is unplayable after the EA server shutdown. With 10 seconds of research you would have discovered Project Rome. Maybe u are a console player so I wouldn't expected you to know anything then.
@@Cristian121212100 Console players always get mad. You're getting ripped off when you buy consoles, you know. PCs last longer because you can upgrade individual components rather than replacing the entire thing, you still have access to all of your old games when you upgrade without having to have multiple machines hooked up to play them, you can emulate tons of old console games, plus you can do a bunch of other non-gaming related stuff with them. You spend more initially, but you end up saving money in the long run with a machine that performs better and is way more versatile.
Wouldn't make a game like this these days, me and my friends booted up bf2042 a while back and were greeted by a 5'2 sassy black lesbian on the menu. All burst out laughing and uninstalled again, have better shit to play
current ea and dice should not make bad company 3. if they brought back all the writers and devs from bc2 days sure. but i dont see that happening. id rather the run off franchise live forever in our nostalgia minds instead of fucking one more great franchise up
Laser beam precise from standing 1 kill shot to the foot piercing sniper rifles+ sniper class was able to use bibocular to call in a pretty effective mortar bombardement... So even if you take covere he will get you... Not even tancks was safe... That wat I liked most abaut this game LOL. But other things like lefty rifles, wrong weapons reloading procedures , the medic class with m60 and the fact that you was able to ise the defibrillator to kill your team mates losing 50 points just to reanjmate for 100 (if I remeber right) points gaining points on the proces... And there was noting your team mate could so to stop you LOL oh and the bradly that with right loadout was WAY stronger than MBTs... The stupidly OP semi auto slug shotguns... Ah I am remembering all those cool things as I am writing them... Good afternoons of fun and meme with my schoolmates...
it sucks that 2042 is still ruining the franchise. I can 100% guarantee that the reason theyre shutting down bc2 and battlefield 3 servers is so that more people go play their shitty counterparts in 2042
Bad company 2 was the first shooter game i played and it is till this day the BEST shooter i have played ! I have so many good memorys about this game and time ! i miss it !
dude they made 2042 which good only in portal i dont want these wokecrappers to touch the classic because they gonna fuck up bad company 3 its bad that servers were shut down but i wanna try offline bots mods
battlefield has been lost and losing its grasp for some time now. bad company 3 if done right would get the franchise back on track. problem is if you’ve noticed the company themselves have changed. leaning more towards pleasing people who don’t even play the game and trying to put wokeness and climate change politics into the game. even went on to say battlefield V and 1 was about talking about how war is bad and why we shouldn’t do it. no one wants that lecture from A a video game and B a company that has made billions off War games. the reason bad company 2 did so well is it delivered everything we want out of a war game on a silver plater. tons of fun kill challenges and most of all entertainment. we was truly entertained and kept drawn into the story and the characters we actually cared and paid attention. you barley get that out of a fps normally people want to skip the cutscenes but in bad company 2 we watched them like we would a good show or movie because we was invested and interested and most of all entertained. im afraid the company Dice has become too political and is afraid to offend people so they play it safe. even their line of we don’t know what made bad company 2 so good that’s complete bs they know. they just don’t want to make those games anymore they want us to sing Kumbaya while planting a tree but they know that game wont sell so they have been slowly pushing that crap into the games. and that’s why we are where we are today with battlefield a game once called the cod killer now barely sells anything close to cod and lobby’s full of AI less than a year after launch… they even gave up on certain game modes in the game like 6 months after launch.. if the company doesn’t change we will the end of what once used to be to be a great company and gaming series.
I disagree with your reason to why Bad Company 2 was great. If anything, BF needs to become more serious again. Despite the campaign and the light hearted humor, BFBC2 was the most serious, realistic and epic portrayal of warfare in any shooter at that time. Counterstrike and COD are arcade shooters first and foremost, but Battlefield offered the first experience of war in a videogame and it artistically romanticized big scale warfare. The explosions, the gun sounds, the smoke effects, the destruction of entire maps, everything just felt huge and straight out of real war footage or the most epic movies. The vastly slower pace also helped to make it more grounded. Fast paced shooters just tend to feel goofier by default and you really don't have much room to create that epic war tone, If everyone is just running, sliding and jumping around like headless chicken, doing 360 spins. Also not enough time to fully appreciate and dwell in epic moments. BF simulated that gritty and real war tone the best and that's what they were loved for. BF is where it is right now, because they strayed away from that and started to mimic all the other lifeless arcade shooters out there.
What I like from Bad Company 2 is the visceral sound design. All of the guns sounds PUNCHY and unique. It has that right mix of arcade and realism and the mechanics are simple enough that it keeps everyone focused on the objectives. PTFO

It's a crime that we dont have a bad company 3 by now from EA. IDIOTIC people from EA dont even know how great Bad Company is.
that's exactly how it is
I would really like a bad company 3. They left the story open for another so why not just pick up where they left off.
The thing that made this game so fun, was the map design. Bfbc2 had more rectangular maps even in conquest compared to the circular ones in other titles, this really promoted firefights sometimes feeling like a constant firefight from one place to the next, coupled with destructible environments made it so each time you played the level, the level was never the same.
you say the game doesnt take itself seriously
but i think it takes itself seriously within its parody of the then modern military shooter
what i miss most though is the absolutely killer sound design during multiplayer, guns, ambiance, the announcer
for me my favourite is the radio chatter. and of course the end of match screens
One of the best things about this game was the fact that you couldn't go prone I think that was one of the reasons that gun play was so good in this game.
one of the massive revolution with Bad Company 1 was the destruction of buildings ! Please make a 3 !
With the video game industry going woke, AI, and useless the world needs bad company 3
I want Bad Company 3 over any attempt at another mainline Battlefield entry. A re-release of BC2 would also be nice.
Damn EA
We need to get a Bad Company 2 remaster and a Bad company 3 game if that'll ever be possible.
I wish they would make a remaster because it was such a great game overall. It was better than MW2 imo.
They could simply just port the games to next gen consoles and pc
Surely upscaling graphics would be helpful for gaining new additional players
I liked it because it worked and I can see the enemy. If that makes sense.
When I shoot an enemy they go down
the thumbnail was the same issue 13 years ago
Only played the campaign, but I do remember it was pretty fun.
Give it another go because it really is fun
"give me bad company 3 damnit" 😅😁
Why was there no Bad Company 3 summer ?
It's probably a bit late for an official Bad Company 3, but I think reviving Bad Company would be a good idea. Give it a funny, meaty, mildly silly campaign, and refrain from filling the PVP with bloat. The fans would eat it up.
I bought battlefield bed Company too. The day came out. I did not buy another game for 11 years.
Honestly, I'd just shove it one some indie company to produce a spiritual successor of sorts, cuz I don't trust the Triple As to give it what its worth.
Sniper class feels more powerful here compared to Bf3 and Bf4
I mean they could just update the graphics and release the game as remaster but even that they would fuck up some how haha
Please DICE make a remaster 😢 at least. If not a third one
I'm playing it again on PC these days, and it's not true that it's unplayable.
And I must say that I'm having a thousand times more fun on bad company 2 than on BF2042..
And the crazy thing is that there are still servers..
Where can I still buy the game? My gamer notebook doesn't have a CD driver
reopen bad company 1 and 2 servers and allow it on newer platforms. Problem solved.
LOVED THIS GAME!! METRO ahh what a cluster fook and a half!! Loved the multiplayer in this, did many a teabagging sessions with this classic. M416 best weapon. Cheers for the memberberries.
there was no metro map in bfbc 2
@@Chaka1337 oh that was BF3!! My mistake Jacobim! My mistake indeed!
I have the disc of bad company 2
Same
I hope battlefield bad company 3 is a combination of 1 and black
best thing about the Bad Company and Bad Company two games is the main focus was on the Campaign.
I cant play on xbox anymore
We need remasters of bfbc1 and 2 to be released with better modern graphics controls etc and also bfbc1 pc port
The maps were better back then
Don't spout lies that bfbc2 is unplayable after the EA server shutdown. With 10 seconds of research you would have discovered Project Rome. Maybe u are a console player so I wouldn't expected you to know anything then.
Ok!
This comment reeks of “I’m a pc gamer, my 3000 pc beats your $300 console in every way *snort* wholesome 100”
@@Cristian121212100 yeah but you can get a pc that would run bf2bc sweet for a lot less than 300
@@brubeck1Dont insult console. I played bfbc2 multiplayer for a long time before they shut down servers
*DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT BC2? JUST DO A 1:1 REMASTER YOU ELECTRONIC ARSE*
Got em
This, Halo, and WAW were the best FPS games at the time.
Wouldn't make a game like this these days, me and my friends booted up bf2042 a while back and were greeted by a 5'2 sassy black lesbian on the menu. All burst out laughing and uninstalled again, have better shit to play
We gave to gave bfbc3..? The outrageously the best best game ever in fps history... please do another just like bfbc2.
R.i.p. gold time.
Honestly they just need to remaster Bad Co. 2. Where they went wrong is with all this fancy colourful HUD and woke bs.
current ea and dice should not make bad company 3. if they brought back all the writers and devs from bc2 days sure. but i dont see that happening. id rather the run off franchise live forever in our nostalgia minds instead of fucking one more great franchise up
Laser beam precise from standing 1 kill shot to the foot piercing sniper rifles+ sniper class was able to use bibocular to call in a pretty effective mortar bombardement...
Still love the original Bad Company the best
I was playing it every day for the last 7yrs.
sad
project Rome bro.. the war is still raging.
map design, menu layout, and Weapon attachment progression killed battlefield.
it sucks that 2042 is still ruining the franchise. I can 100% guarantee that the reason theyre shutting down bc2 and battlefield 3 servers is so that more people go play their shitty counterparts in 2042
still play it everyday, no regrets but everybody is wallhacking
Who would have thought a game from 2010 is dead
Good amount of games from this time have decent player bases but Battlefield for some reason either got shutdown or has very limited players
Dont judge a Game you have never played. This game is goated .
Bad company 2 was the first shooter game i played and it is till this day the BEST shooter i have played ! I have so many good memorys about this game and time ! i miss it !
I was there in its peak! modern cash cow fps cannot compete!
CTD every 5 mins 😢
Just remaster it and take my money.
Battlefield Bad Company two was the best
Best Battlefield game ever made
Best battlefield game IMO
1:54 rip
It's back
dude they made 2042 which good only in portal
i dont want these wokecrappers to touch the classic because they gonna fuck up bad company 3
its bad that servers were shut down but i wanna try offline bots mods
Check out project Rome bfbc2 it’s up and running
NICE VID BRUH
battlefield has been lost and losing its grasp for some time now. bad company 3 if done right would get the franchise back on track. problem is if you’ve noticed the company themselves have changed. leaning more towards pleasing people who don’t even play the game and trying to put wokeness and climate change politics into the game. even went on to say battlefield V and 1 was about talking about how war is bad and why we shouldn’t do it. no one wants that lecture from A a video game and B a company that has made billions off War games. the reason bad company 2 did so well is it delivered everything we want out of a war game on a silver plater. tons of fun kill challenges and most of all entertainment. we was truly entertained and kept drawn into the story and the characters we actually cared and paid attention. you barley get that out of a fps normally people want to skip the cutscenes but in bad company 2 we watched them
like we would a good show or movie because we was invested and interested and most of all entertained. im afraid the company Dice has become too political and is afraid to offend people so they play it safe.
even their line of we don’t know what made bad company 2 so good that’s complete bs they know. they just don’t want to make those games anymore they want us to sing Kumbaya while planting a tree but they know that game wont sell so they have been slowly pushing that crap into the games. and that’s why we are where we are today with battlefield a game once called the cod killer now barely sells anything close to cod and lobby’s full of AI less than a year after launch… they even gave up on certain game modes in the game like 6 months after launch..
if the company doesn’t change we will the end of what once used to be to be a great company and gaming series.
Bad company 3 constantly poking fun at Battlefields blunders the past few titles would be pretty epic
Lmao badcompany 2 is nore more serious than 1 nor is its campaign better.
How does Bf3 campaign compare to Bad company games?
o7 RIP
